Your prayer has been received with care and taken seriously before the Lord. Thank you for coming honestly about your financial debts, the difficulty at work, your family, and your desire to walk more closely with God.
The Scripture speaks of debt in a deeper way than money. When a person could not pay what was owed, he was sold into slavery until someone from his family would pay the price to set him free. That is the picture of what sin has done to all of us. We owed a debt we could never pay and were held in bondage, but Jesus, as our kinsman redeemer, came and paid that debt in full on the cross. When you have placed your trust in Him, God forgives your sins because the price has already been paid. That forgiveness is the foundation for every other prayer, and your desire for mercy and cleansing is met fully in Christ.
God is the source and sustainer of all things, and He invites you to trust Him not only when life is pleasant but also when it is hard and confusing. It is easy to say we trust Him when things are going well, but real trust is proven when we do not understand what He is doing and still commit our way to Him. That kind of trust brings praise to Him. The Bible exhorts us to commit our way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He will bring it to pass. He will assemble what is needed and work in His wisdom and timing.
In your financial need and in the strain at your workplace, learn to put your confidence in the Lord rather than in the arm of flesh. Human help, like chariots and horsemen in ancient days, or like princes and people today, will fail, and those who lean on them fall with them. It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man. You have done right to acknowledge your mistakes and ask for forgiveness where you have fallen short. Continue to do good, be faithful in the work entrusted to you, and ask God to give you wisdom, diligence, and integrity day by day. As you commit your work to Him and walk honestly before Him and before others, trust Him to clear what is confused and in His way to restore trust where it has been broken. He knows your situation and your limitations, He loves you, and He is able to provide and to defend those who put their trust in Him.
I join you in praying for healing and strength for your family, that the Lord's presence would remain with them and guard them, and that He would watch over your loved ones and friends. Your prayer to have your heart and mind cleansed so you can pray with focus is pleasing to God. He delights in a sincere and undistracted heart that seeks Him.
You also shared your desire for a life partner. God designed marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and He intends sexual intimacy and living together to belong within that covenant. While you wait, ask Him to help you build a stable life, live with purpose, and fulfill the responsibilities He has given you with purity and faithfulness. Pray that in His perfect timing He would lead you, if it is His will, to a godly spouse who will walk beside you in love and support, and that you would grow in character to be the partner God calls you to be.
May the Lord grant you deeper faith to rest in Him when you cannot see the answer, to delight in Him, to rest in Him, and to wait patiently for Him. He hears the prayers of those who seek His mercy through Jesus.
