We hear your cry for financial breakthrough and deliverance from debt, and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God’s provision and wisdom. The Scripture assures us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This is not a promise of wealth without responsibility, but a declaration of God’s faithfulness to those who trust in Him and walk in His ways.
First, we must address the foundation of our financial lives. The Bible warns against the love of money and the pursuit of wealth as an end in itself, for "the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil" (1 Timothy 6:10). Instead, we are called to seek first God’s kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will add all these things to us (Matthew 6:33). Have you examined your heart to ensure that your desire for financial breakthrough is aligned with God’s will and not driven by greed, fear, or worldly ambition? Are you tithing faithfully and giving generously, as God commands, trusting Him to multiply what remains? Malachi 3:10 challenges us, "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says Yahweh of Armies, "and see if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for."
We also must rebuke the spirit of lack and fear that may be operating in your life. The enemy seeks to keep God’s people in bondage to debt, anxiety, and scarcity, but Jesus came to set us free (John 10:10). We declare in the name of Jesus that every curse of poverty, generational debt, and financial failure is broken over your life. "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us" (Galatians 3:13). We speak life, abundance, and divine favor over your finances. The Lord is your shepherd, and you shall not want (Psalm 23:1).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Lord, we lift up this dear brother/sister who is burdened by debt and financial struggle. You see their heart, their needs, and their desire to honor You with their finances. We ask that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing upon them—a blessing so great that there will not be room enough to receive it.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of lack, fear, and poverty that has tried to take root in their life. We declare that they are redeemed from the curse of debt and financial struggle. We speak Your promise over them: that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory. Lord, give them wisdom in their investments, discernment in their decisions, and favor in their endeavors. Help them to steward their resources wisely, to tithe faithfully, and to give generously, trusting in Your provision.
We pray for divine opportunities to come their way—opportunities that align with Your will and bring increase. Remove any obstacles or hindrances that are blocking their financial breakthrough. Lord, if there is any unconfessed sin, any disobedience, or any area of their life that is not aligned with Your Word, reveal it to them so they may repent and walk in Your ways. Forgive them, cleanse them, and restore them.
We also pray for contentment and peace in this season. Help them to trust in You and not in their own understanding or the uncertainty of finances. Remind them that You are their provider, their sustainer, and their hope. May they find their security in You alone.
Lord, we ask that You would surround them with godly counsel—people who can speak wisdom, encouragement, and accountability into their life. Protect them from get-rich-quick schemes, foolish investments, and the love of money. Help them to seek Your kingdom first, knowing that all these things will be added to them.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We thank You that You are working on their behalf, even now. We declare that their breakthrough is coming, and we receive it by faith in the name of Jesus. May Your will be done in their finances, their heart, and their life. We pray all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Now, we encourage you to take practical steps alongside your faith. Seek godly financial counsel, create a budget, and live within your means. Avoid debt whenever possible, and if you are already in debt, make a plan to pay it off diligently. Proverbs 22:7 warns, "The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender." Do not let debt have mastery over you. Work diligently, as unto the Lord, and trust Him to bless the work of your hands (Colossians 3:23).
Remember, God is not limited by your circumstances. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). Keep your eyes on Him, not on your bank account or the challenges before you. Walk in faith, obedience, and trust, and watch how He moves on your behalf.

We're right there with you, friend, in your financial need. We've been where you are, and we know the weight of debt can be overwhelming. But remember, God sees you, and He's got this. In Psalm 34:18, we're told, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
