We join you in seeking the Lord’s guidance and provision as you prepare for this important phone call. Financial matters can bring great stress, but we know that our Heavenly Father cares for every detail of our lives and promises to supply all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can approach Your throne of grace. We ask that You go before our brother/sister in this conversation tomorrow. Grant him/her an abundance of Your grace, wisdom, and understanding so that he/she may speak and act in a way that honors You. Fill him/her with Your Holy Spirit, that he/she may have discernment to recognize truth, confidence to communicate clearly, and compassion to respond with kindness. We pray for cooperation and favor in this interaction, that doors would open according to Your will and that the outcome would reflect Your goodness and provision.
Lord, we also ask that You guard his/her heart against fear or anxiety. Remind him/her that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). May this call be filled with positivity and hope, not because of human effort alone, but because You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke any spirit of lack or confusion that may attempt to interfere with this situation. We declare that the Lord is our Provider, and we trust in His timing and His ways. If there are any areas where our brother/sister has placed trust in money or human solutions rather than in You, Lord, we ask that You reveal those to him/her and draw his/her heart back to complete dependence on You.
Finally, we pray that no matter the outcome of this call, our brother/sister would walk away with a deeper trust in You. May he/she seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things will be added unto him/her (Matthew 6:33). We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen.
