Beloved of All
I have prayed for you and brought your financial struggle before the Lord, asking Him to help you and provide for you in Jesus name.
I understand how discouraging it is to work faithfully year after year and feel like you have nothing to show for it, not even being able to provide something for yourself. God sees your labor and He knows the weight you are carrying. Scripture shows that even faithful believers have walked through seasons of deep financial hardship. The church in Jerusalem suffered greatly in poverty, and the apostle Paul himself worked with his own hands to provide for his needs so he would not be a burden to others. You are not alone in this kind of struggle, and God does not overlook it.
One truth that encourages me is that God always leaves room to work as He desires. Under the law there was considered no cure for leprosy, yet God still gave a law for the leper in the day of his cleansing, as if to say, if I choose to heal, there is already provision for it. That shows us not to put God in a box. What looks impossible or incurable to us is not beyond Him. We can give Him allowance to work in our lives in His own way and timing, even in finances.
At the same time, seasons of hardship and having to scrape by are often part of how God prepares us and makes Himself more real to us. When we have to trust Him day by day for our daily needs, we come to know His nearness and His miracle working power in a way we would not otherwise. Those years are not wasted. God can use them to shape character, deepen dependence on Him, and prepare you for what He has ahead.
Scripture also teaches us to put the Lord first with what He has entrusted to us. The prophet Haggai spoke to people who were earning wages but putting them into a bag with holes, never having enough, because they had not considered the Lord or honored Him first. We are taught to bring the first fruits of our increase to Him. This is not a formula to get rich, but a matter of the heart that puts God in His rightful place and trusts Him as our provider. As we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, we can trust Him to care for our needs.
Above all, remember that God has made one provision for our deepest need, which is forgiveness and righteousness through His Son Jesus Christ. He is the only way to the Father, and through faith in Him we are counted righteous and can come boldly to God with every need. Because of Jesus, you can come to your Father not as a stranger but as His child, and He hears you.
My prayer for you is that God would make His provision real to you in this season, that He would give you wisdom in your work and stewardship, open doors for provision, and give you peace as you trust Him day by day. May He supply what you need, help you to see His hand at work, and fill your heart with hope and contentment in Christ as you continue to labor faithfully.
