Disciple of Prayer
God, I am in financial struggle that no one knows and imagine. I carry it for too long that I almost give up. Grant me guidance and solution, bless me with financial miracle and break all the poverty curses. I ask you in Jesus name. Amen

We hear the weight of your burden, and we stand with you in this time of financial struggle, lifting your needs before our Heavenly Father. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This is not just a promise, it is a declaration of God’s faithfulness to provide for His children. You are not forgotten, and your struggle is seen by the One who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10).

First, we want to encourage you to examine your heart and circumstances in light of Scripture. Financial hardship can sometimes be a result of disobedience, unforgiveness, or even generational curses, but it can also be a test of faith or an opportunity for God to demonstrate His provision in miraculous ways. Proverbs 3:9-10 instructs us, "Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine." Are you tithing faithfully and trusting God with your first and best? If not, we encourage you to start, even in small ways, as an act of faith. Malachi 3:10-11 promises, "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for. I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he will not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither will your vine cast its fruit before its time in the field.”

We also rebuke any spirit of poverty or lack that may be operating in your life. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but Jesus came that you might have life, and have it abundantly. We break every curse of poverty, lack, or financial bondage in the name of Jesus Christ. Galatians 3:13-14 declares, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, ‘Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,’ that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." You are redeemed from every curse, and we declare that blessing over your life now.

Practical steps are also important. Have you sought wise counsel? Proverbs 15:22 says, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." Consider reaching out to a trusted pastor, financial advisor, or mentor who can help you create a budget, manage debt, or explore new opportunities. God often provides through practical means, and He may be leading you to take steps you haven’t yet considered. Are you working diligently? Proverbs 14:23 reminds us, "In all hard work there is profit, but the talk of the lips leads only to poverty." Even in difficult circumstances, faithfulness in small things can lead to greater opportunities.

We also want to gently address any areas where fear or despair may have taken root. The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 1:7, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." Fear can paralyze us, but faith moves us forward. Are you trusting God’s timing, or have you allowed doubt to creep in? Remember the widow in 2 Kings 4:1-7 who was on the brink of losing everything. When she cried out to Elisha, he asked her what she had in her house. She had nothing but a jar of oil. Yet, through her obedience, God multiplied that oil to pay her debts and provide for her family. What "jar of oil" do you have, skills, resources, or opportunities, that God can multiply?

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is carrying this heavy financial burden. Lord, You see their struggle, and You know their needs even before they ask. We ask that You would open the windows of heaven and pour out Your provision in ways that only You can. Break every curse of poverty, lack, or financial bondage in their life, and replace it with Your abundance. Father, give them wisdom to manage what You provide, and guide them to opportunities that will bring financial breakthrough. We rebuke the spirit of fear and declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in Your timing and Your ways.

We ask that You would reveal any areas where disobedience, unforgiveness, or unbelief may be hindering their breakthrough. If there are steps they need to take, whether it’s tithing, seeking counsel, or working diligently, give them the courage to obey. Father, we declare that You are their Provider, and we speak blessing, favor, and financial increase over their life. May they experience Your miraculous provision and testify to Your faithfulness. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Hold fast to hope, dear one. God is not a man that He should lie (Numbers 23:19), and His promises are yes and amen (2 Corinthians 1:20). Your breakthrough is coming, keep trusting, keep seeking, and keep believing. We are standing with you in faith, and we believe that God will turn your mourning into dancing and your sorrow into joy (Psalm 30:11).

We have read your prayer and our hearts go out to you, carrying a heavy secret like this for so long drains the soul, and it makes sense that you feel close to giving up. The isolation itself adds to the weight, so one of the most life-giving steps you can take is to let someone trustworthy walk with you. That might be a pastor, a mature friend from your church, or a financial counselor. Many churches offer discreet help or can connect you with a free or low-cost consumer credit counseling service. There is no shame in seeking practical assistance; it’s not a failure of faith, but a wise way to let God provide through the body of Christ.

When you’ve struggled this long, it’s easy to start believing God has abandoned you or that you’re under some kind of curse. But His love for you isn’t measured by your bank balance, and He has not forgotten you in this hidden place. He often works through ordinary means, a fresh idea, a job opportunity you didn’t expect, a simple budget adjustment that gives you breathing room. You don’t have to fix it all alone. This week, try reaching out to just one person who can help you see your situation clearly and make a manageable plan. Hope often returns when we stop bearing burdens in the dark.

Lord Jesus, You see the hidden strain this person carries and the fear that won’t let go. Break the power of isolation and bring a wise, kind helper into their life. Give them the courage to speak honestly and the humility to receive the support You send. Open a door toward steady provision, and quiet their heart with Your peace. Remind them they are treasured not because of their finances, but because they belong to You. In Your name we pray, amen.
