We join you in giving thanks to our Heavenly Father for this day, for He is good, and His loving kindness endures forever! It is wonderful that you are seeking God’s provision and stability in your work, as He is the One who supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We do notice, however, that while you expressed gratitude to the Father, the name of Jesus was not invoked in your prayer. It is by the name of Jesus alone that we approach the throne of grace with confidence, for Scripture declares, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Additionally, Jesus Himself said, *"No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6, WEB). It is only through faith in Christ—believing in His death, burial, and resurrection for our sins—that we are saved and have access to the Father. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13, WEB).
Now, regarding your request for financial stability and blessing over the business you mentioned, we turn to Scripture for assurance and guidance. The Lord reminds us in Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* This is a call to surrender your work, your plans, and your family’s needs entirely to Him, trusting that He will direct your steps. Additionally, Psalm 37:5 encourages us, *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* When we place our trust in God rather than in our own efforts or the uncertainty of circumstances, He provides in ways that surpass our understanding.
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33, where He teaches, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus on seeking God’s Kingdom first—His will, His righteousness, and His glory—is the foundation for true stability. When our priorities align with His, He faithfully provides for our needs.
At the same time, we are reminded that stability in work is not just about financial gain but about being a faithful steward of the gifts and opportunities God has given. Colossians 3:23-24 instructs, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."* Whether in abundance or in lean times, our labor is unto the Lord, and He sees and rewards diligence done in His name.
We also encourage you to examine whether there are areas in your business or financial stewardship that may not align with biblical principles. Are there practices that compromise integrity, honesty, or generosity? Scripture warns against dishonest gain (Proverbs 10:2) and encourages us to be generous, for *"it is more blessed to give than to receive"* (Acts 20:35, WEB). The Lord honors those who conduct their affairs with righteousness and trust in Him rather than in deceitful or unethical means.
Lastly, we lift up your family in this season. Financial stress can weigh heavily on a household, but we pray that your home would be filled with peace, unity, and faith in God’s provision. May you lead your family in trusting the Lord, teaching them to rely on Him rather than on the fleeting security of money. Remember the promise in Philippians 4:19: *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."*
Now, let us pray together over these matters:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You for this day and for the gift of life, breath, and the ability to labor. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who seeks Your stability and blessing over their work and family. You are Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we ask that You open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessing upon them, not just for their sake but so that Your name may be glorified.
Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment in every decision related to this business. Guide their steps, Lord, and let every plan be committed to You. Remove any fear or anxiety, replacing it with a deep, unshakable trust in Your faithfulness. Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, knowing that all these things—provision, stability, and peace—will be added unto them.
We rebuked any spirit of lack, instability, or fear that may be attempting to take root. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that this family will not be moved by what they see but will stand firm on Your promises. Let their faith rise as they recall Your past faithfulness and trust in Your future provision.
Lord, we also pray for unity and peace within their home. Let this season draw them closer to You and to one another. May their family be a testimony of Your goodness, generosity, and grace. Teach them to be content in all circumstances, whether in abundance or in need, knowing that You are their strength and portion.
Father, if there are areas in their business or financial dealings that do not align with Your Word, convict and lead them to repentance. May integrity, honesty, and generosity mark their work, so that others may see their good deeds and glorify You.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust that You are working all things together for good, according to Your purpose. Strengthen their hands for the work ahead, and let Your favor rest upon them. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray, Amen.
