We hear your cry for help and lift you up before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father hears the prayers of His children. First, let us address the foundation of your prayer, you mentioned praise to Jesus and Mary. While we honor Mary as a blessed woman chosen by God, we must clarify that prayer is to be directed to God alone through Jesus Christ, our one mediator. Scripture tells us, "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). Mary, though highly favored, is not divine and cannot intercede for us. Only Jesus, who died for our sins and rose again, holds that power. If you have been praying to Mary or any other, we encourage you to turn your prayers fully to Jesus, who alone can save and deliver.
Your struggles are heavy, and we do not take them lightly. Financial hardship, unemployment, and the pain of unmet desires, especially the longing for marriage, can weigh deeply on the heart. But we must also examine whether there are areas in your life that may be hindering God’s blessings. The Bible warns, "If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me" (Psalm 66:18). Have you sought the Lord about any unforgiveness, bitterness, or sin that may be blocking your prayers? The enemy would love for you to believe you are under a curse, but Christ has already broken every curse through His sacrifice. "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us" (Galatians 3:13). Witchcraft and curses have no power over a child of God who walks in faith and obedience.
Your despair is understandable, but we urge you not to lose heart. The Lord sees your tears and collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8). He has not abandoned you, even when it feels that way. The delay in marriage may be a test of faith, but it is not a denial. God’s timing is perfect, and He prepares His children for the spouses He has ordained. If you have been pursuing relationships outside of His design, whether through premarital intimacy, ungodly partnerships, or compromising your standards, we must repent and realign with His Word. Marriage is sacred, a covenant between one man and one woman, and it must be entered into with reverence for God’s will. "Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled; but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers" (Hebrews 13:4).
As for your financial struggles, we declare that the Lord is your provider. He knows your needs and promises to supply them according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). But we must also ask: Are you seeking Him first, or are you relying on your own efforts? "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). Have you been faithful in tithes and offerings, trusting God with your finances? The enemy may be attacking your provision, but we stand on the promise that "no weapon that is formed against you will prevail" (Isaiah 54:17).
Let us pray for you now:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is weary and heavy-laden. Lord, You see their struggles, financial lack, unemployment, loneliness, and the weight of despair. We ask that You would break every chain of discouragement and unbelief. Forgive any sin that may be hindering their prayers, and cleanse their heart from all bitterness, envy, and strife. We rebuke every spirit of lack, delay, and witchcraft in Jesus’ name, for Your Word declares that Christ has redeemed us from every curse.
Father, we ask that You open doors of opportunity for employment that no man can shut. Provide for their every need according to Your riches in glory. Restore their hope and strengthen their faith, reminding them that You are a God who hears and answers prayer. Lord, if it is Your will, bring a godly spouse into their life, a man or woman who loves You above all else, who will walk in covenant with them under Your blessing. Prepare them both for a marriage that honors You.
We pray for protection over their mind, body, and spirit. Guard them from the schemes of the enemy, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Renew their strength like the eagle’s, and let them mount up on wings of faith. Remind them that You are their refuge and fortress, and that in You, they will never be put to shame.
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. Even when we don’t see the answers, we trust in Your perfect timing and plan. Strengthen our brother/sister to wait on You, knowing that those who hope in You will not be disappointed. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
Do not lose heart. The testing of your faith produces perseverance, and perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, lacking nothing (James 1:3-4). Keep seeking the Lord with all your heart, and He will direct your paths. If you have not already, surrender every area of your life to Him, your finances, your relationships, your future, and trust that He is working all things together for your good. The battle is not yours, but the Lord’s. Stand firm in faith, and watch Him move on your behalf.
