Financial needs

I am praying earnestly for a breakthrough in your family’s finances this year. Scripture always urges us to leave room for God to work as He pleases, never boxing Him into our own expectations. Even under the law, when leprosy was deemed incurable, God quietly left a provision for the day when a leper would be cleansed. That opening was there so that whenever God chose to act, no one could say He wasn’t allowed. So we can boldly ask for a miracle without trying to dictate how it must come. He is able to multiply resources in ways we can’t plan for, just as a small offering of bread and ears of corn satisfied a hundred men with food left over.

At the same time, hold fast to the one provision that meets our deepest need. God has made only one way for sin to be forgiven and guilt removed, and that is through His Son, Jesus Christ. The Spirit testifies to this truth. If your family has already trusted in Him, then the greatest miracle is already at work among you, a bond that runs deeper than blood. That family of God becomes a network of care, and often it is through brothers and sisters in Christ that material provision arrives.

Remember the believers in Macedonia. They were poor and under crushing trials, yet from the overflow of their joy they begged for the privilege of sharing with others in even greater financial distress. Their secret was that they first gave themselves to the Lord. So I am not just praying for money; I am praying that you and your household will experience such an abundance of joy in Jesus that fear loosens its grip. Keep seeking His kingdom first. Whether the breakthrough comes through a quiet wage, an unexpected gift, or a sudden door opening, be watching for the hand of God. He cares for your family, and He still delights in providing for His children.
