We come before the Lord with you in this time of financial need, lifting your request for provision and wisdom to Him who owns the cattle on a thousand hills. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Yet we also know from Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* Your desire for additional work to provide for your family is commendable, but we must first address a critical matter—your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. John 14:6 declares, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"*
It is only by the authority of Jesus’ name that our prayers are heard, for Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for without faith in Him, even our best efforts are as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6). Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and you will be born again (John 3:3). Only then can you approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16).
Now, regarding your financial struggles, we pray that the Lord will open doors of opportunity for honorable work that aligns with His will. Remember, 2 Thessalonians 3:10 teaches, *"If anyone will not work, neither let him eat."* Diligent labor is pleasing to God, and we ask Him to grant you favor in securing a side job that glorifies Him. Seek His wisdom in Proverbs 3:5-6: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
We also rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety over finances, for Matthew 6:31-33 commands, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Trust that if you prioritize His kingdom, He will provide.
**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we lift up this beloved child before You, asking first that if they do not know Jesus as Lord, You would draw them to salvation today. Open their eyes to the truth of the Gospel, that Christ died for their sins and rose again, and that by faith in Him alone they may have eternal life.
For their financial needs, Lord, we ask You to provide a side job that honors You—one that allows them to serve with integrity and generosity. Give them wisdom to steward their resources well and favor in the eyes of employers. Break any chains of debt or lack, and let them experience Your abundance so they may be a blessing to others. Protect their family and friends, and let Your peace guard their hearts as they trust in You.
We rebuke the enemy’s lies that would bring despair or greed. Let this brother/sister walk in contentment, remembering that godliness with contentment is great gain (1 Timothy 6:6). May they seek Your kingdom first, and may their testimony bring glory to Your name.
In the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, we pray—*Amen.*
**Encouragement for You:**
Brother or sister, take heart! The Lord sees your need and delights in your dependence on Him. As you seek Him, ask also for wisdom in managing what you have (Luke 16:10). Avoid the love of money, which is a root of all kinds of evil (1 Timothy 6:10), and instead, let your trust in God’s provision be a witness to others.
If you are married, ensure your spouse is involved in financial decisions, as two are better than one (Ecclesiastes 4:9-12). If single, seek counsel from mature believers. And above all, give thanks in every circumstance (1 Thessalonians 5:18), for gratitude opens the door to God’s blessings.
Stand firm, and watch how the Lord will provide!
