We have heard your cry and we are joining with you in prayer together in Jesus' name, asking for His mercy and provision in this very difficult financial crisis. We understand the weight you are carrying, having labored so diligently to provide for your living expenses for the year, only to see those gains lost in a moment of exhaustion and distress. The sleepless nights, the tossing and turning, and the worry about daily needs and potential further loss have left you weary, and we want you to know that God sees your struggle and cares deeply for you.
The Scriptures remind us to cast all our worries on Him, because He cares for us, as it says in 1 Peter 5:7. In your anxiety and sleeplessness, we are encouraged by the promise in Philippians 4:6-7 that in nothing we should be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus. Jesus Himself invites us in Matthew 11:28 to come to Him, all who labor and are heavily burdened, and He will give us rest. We also take comfort that He gives sleep to His loved ones, as Psalm 127:2 tells us it is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil, for He gives sleep to His loved ones.
We also hear your concern that exhaustion is leading to further hasty decisions that could deepen this loss. The Word gives us wise counsel here in Proverbs 21:5 that the plans of the diligent surely lead to profit and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty. When we are exhausted and not in a good mental state, we are most vulnerable to making hurried choices. We encourage you to pause, to seek rest for your body and mind before making any further financial decisions, and to seek godly and wise counsel from trusted believers or counselors who can help you look at your situation with clarity. Our security is not ultimately in what we have earned or lost, but in our Father who knows our needs. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:31-33 not to be anxious saying what will we eat or what will we drink, but to seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. And we cling to the promise in Philippians 4:19 that our God will supply every need of ours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and in Psalm 55:22 to cast our burden on Yahweh, and He will sustain us.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace. Lord, have mercy and look upon this financial burden with compassion. You know the diligent work that was done, the exhaustion that followed, and the painful loss that has now brought sleeplessness and fear about daily provision. We ask that You would calm this troubled heart and grant deep, restorative sleep and peace that surpasses all understanding to guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Give rest to the weary soul. Lord, we ask for Your wisdom, that You would still this anxiety and prevent any further hasty loss, and that You would make clear a way out of this crisis. Provide for every daily need according to Your riches in glory, open doors for honest provision and recovery, and grant steady hands and a clear mind for the work ahead. Help our dear friend to trust not in uncertain riches but in You, the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy, and to seek first Your Kingdom. Restore what has been lost in the way You see best, and use even this trial to draw this heart closer to You. We ask all this in the merciful and mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our provider, amen.
