Disciple of Prayer
My name is ### from ###. A friend of mine and I did a consultancy job for a certain company. The company got a loan from one of the local banks to import fertilizer which it delivered. But the bank's management of the loan was marked with grave irregularities. We discovered that the company was heavily penalized in interest charges. We worked out the refund amount which is quite huge. The matter has been held in the court but the judge is yet to deliver judgement. It's a straight forward case. It's over a year now. We suspect corruption is working here. We need God's mercies that the judge delivers justice to our client as we are waiting to be paid from the job we did. Man of God please pray for us for this breakthrough. Amen.

We come before the Lord with you in this matter, lifting up your need for justice and financial breakthrough, for we know that our God is a God of righteousness who sees all things and will act on behalf of His children. It is good that you have sought justice through the proper channels, and now we must trust that the Lord will move mightily in this situation. However, we must first address something vital: in your request, the name of Jesus Christ was not invoked. The Scriptures are clear that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, nor is there any other name through which we can approach the Father. *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the throne of grace, and it is in His name alone that we can boldly ask for the Father’s intervention. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB). Without Him, our prayers are empty, but in Him, we have confidence that our petitions are heard.

Now, let us turn to the matter at hand. The delay in justice you are experiencing is deeply troubling, especially when corruption may be at play. The Bible speaks clearly about the Lord’s heart for justice: *"Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Judge the fatherless. Plead for the widow"* (Isaiah 1:17, WEB). It is not God’s will for the wicked to prosper at the expense of the righteous, nor for corruption to thwart what is right. The psalmist declares, *"The Lord executes righteous acts, and judgments for all who are oppressed"* (Psalm 103:6, WEB). We must trust that God sees the injustice here and that He will act in His perfect timing. However, we are also called to be patient and persistent in prayer, for *"The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but he is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance"* (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). His timing is not our timing, but it is always perfect.

We also recognize the financial strain this delay has placed on you and your friend. The Bible assures us that our Heavenly Father knows our needs and will provide for us as we seek His kingdom first: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). This does not mean the path will be easy, but it does mean that God is faithful. We must guard our hearts against bitterness or despair, for these can become strongholds that hinder our faith. Instead, we are to *"cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you"* (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

There is also a warning here for all of us: in the pursuit of justice, we must ensure that our own hearts remain pure. It is easy to become consumed by anger or a desire for vengeance when faced with corruption, but we are called to a higher standard. *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for the Lord, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22, WEB). Our trust must be in the Lord’s justice, not in our own ability to manipulate or force outcomes. If there is any temptation to take matters into your own hands—whether through dishonesty, bribery, or unethical means—we urge you to resist it. The end does not justify the means when those means contradict God’s Word. *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* (2 Corinthians 6:14, WEB). This principle applies not only to relationships but to all areas of life, including how we conduct ourselves in business and legal matters.

Let us pray together for this situation:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother and his friend who have labored honestly and now seek justice. Lord, You are the God who sees all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You expose every corrupt deed and every hidden motive in this case. Let no wickedness prevail, but may Your righteousness be established. Father, we pray for the judge presiding over this matter. Soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth. Remove any influence of bribery, fear, or favoritism, and let him act with integrity and wisdom. Your Word says, *"It is an abomination for kings to do wrong, for the throne is established by righteousness"* (Proverbs 16:12, WEB). We ask that righteousness prevail in this courtroom.

Lord, we also pray for financial breakthrough for our brother and his friend. They have worked diligently and deserve to be compensated fairly. Provide for their needs, Father, and let this delay not cause them to despair. Strengthen their faith and remind them that You are their Provider. *"The young lions do lack and suffer hunger, but those who seek the Lord will not lack any good thing"* (Psalm 34:10, WEB). We declare that You are their Jehova Jireh, the God who provides.

We rebuke every spirit of corruption, delay, and injustice in the name of Jesus. Let every stronghold of the enemy be broken, and let the truth come to light swiftly. Father, we ask that You would accelerate this process and bring it to a just conclusion. Let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified through this situation.

We also pray for our brother’s heart. Guard him against bitterness, anxiety, or any temptation to compromise his integrity. Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let him rest in the assurance that You are fighting for him. *"Don’t be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you," says the Lord* (Jeremiah 1:8, WEB).

Finally, Father, if there is any area in his life or in the life of his friend where they have not fully surrendered to You, we ask that You would reveal it to them. Draw them closer to You, and let this trial be a testimony of Your faithfulness.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, brother. Do not grow weary in doing good, for *"in due season we will reap, if we don’t give up"* (Galatians 6:9, WEB). Keep praying, keep trusting, and keep walking in integrity. The Lord is with you, and He will not abandon you. If there is any way you have not yet fully surrendered this situation to Him, we urge you to do so now. His ways are higher than ours, and His justice is perfect. Wait on Him, and He will act. *"The Lord’s loving kindnesses indeed never cease, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness"* (Lamentations 3:22-23, WEB). Stand firm in that truth.

Dear friend, we join you in prayer for this financial breakthrough and justice to prevail. We've been interceding for you, believing that God sees your diligence and will act on your behalf.

We're reminded of Psalm 37:4, "Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart." Trust in Him, for He is faithful. The delay may be challenging, but remember, "The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance" (2 Peter 3:9).

We declare that the truth will prevail, and the judge will act justly. We also declare that the funds will be released in due time, and you will be compensated fairly. Keep your heart pure and your hands clean, for God's eyes are on the righteous.

Let's continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He fights for us. He sees your struggle and will bring this to a just conclusion in His perfect timing. Keep standing firm in faith, and remember, "The Lord is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation" (Exodus 15:2).

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
