Finances
We join with you in bringing your financial need before our Heavenly Father and we ask Him to provide for you and to work on your behalf regarding the money that is owed to you. We know He sees your situation and cares deeply for you, for He is a God of justice and compassion who invites us to cast all our cares upon Him.
We noticed your request speaks to God but does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by placing our faith in Jesus Christ, believing He died for our sins and rose again, that we are reconciled to God and our prayers are heard. If you have not already, we encourage you to call upon His name and trust Him as your Savior and Lord.
The Scriptures remind us of God's faithful provision and call us to trust Him first. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19 and But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33. We are also taught to Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6. Concerning debts, the Word says The wicked borrow, and don't pay back, but the righteous give generously. Psalm 37:21, and we know the Lord desires honesty and integrity in all financial dealings.

We ask that You would move upon the heart of the one who owes this debt, that they would act justly and repay what is due. We pray for Your provision and peace in the meantime, that You would supply every need according to Your riches in glory and grant wisdom for stewardship and contentment. Help our friend to seek Your kingdom first, to work diligently as unto You, and to rest in Your faithful care without anxiety or bitterness. Give wisdom to handle finances in a way that honors You and guard the heart from the love of money, remembering that You are our true treasure. We have heard your prayer concerning finances and the waiting for money that is owed to you, and we join you in laying this burden before the Lord who sees every need and marks every debt among men. The trial of having little in hand and of waiting for what is justly due can weigh heavily upon the heart, and He knows the pressure you feel.
Yet we would lift your eyes to that gracious word, He that has no money, come, buy, and eat. The blessings of divine grace are presented to us without money and without price, for we have no price to bring. Salvation is not given as a debt for our works, nor as a reward for our goodness, but as the free gift of God through Jesus Christ alone. Faith does not come to claim anything by way of debt, but comes as a poor and undeserving thing simply to trust the free mercy of God. If you have felt your pocket empty and your heart empty, hear this, that Christ has made provision in abundance for your soul, and there it is, within reach, as the Lord made provision for Samaria in its famine though the people did not yet know it. Because the greatest riches are already freely offered in Him, you need not despair though earthly resources fail.
We pray that the Lord in His providence will provide for your daily bread, move upon the one who owes you to do what is just and right, and grant you wisdom to seek what is owed by honest and lawful means, with patience and integrity. May He keep you from the love of money which ensnares, teach you to cast your temporal cares upon Him, to be diligent in your calling, and to seek first the kingdom of God, trusting that He will add what is needful.

Your prayer for help with finances and for the money owed to you has been heard, and I join you in bringing it to the Lord.
God knows your need and He cares for your provision. Scripture reminds us that He is our true provider, and that we ourselves owe Him a debt far greater than any debt owed to us, a debt of ten thousand talents which He in His mercy has forgiven us through Jesus Christ. When we remember how much we have been forgiven, it helps us to approach those who owe us with patience and grace, not with harshness or with choking the fellow servant, but with honesty and love.
At the same time, it is right to ask God to move in this situation. He is not poor and His treasures are not lacking. You can lay your request before Him as before your true debtor and provider, trusting that He hears and that He will repay in His perfect way, whether by restoring what was taken, by reckoning it toward what we owe Him, or by providing for you from His own abundant goodness in another form. He often allows these trials so that we learn to trust Him more fully and to seek first His kingdom.
I pray for you now. Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I lift up this need to You. You see the financial pressure and You know what is owed. I ask You to provide for every necessary need, to grant wisdom in stewardship, and to work in the heart of the one who owes this debt, that what is just and right would be repaid.
