Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart and your need so openly. I have prayed for you and your family, asking the Lord to provide for you and to give you wisdom, peace and trust in Him in this season.
God knows your needs completely. He is gracious and He is faithful to take care of His people. The Scripture gives us this promise, that God will supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. That promise is sure, and it is meant to give us confidence to bring our daily needs to Him. When Jesus taught us to pray, give us this day our daily bread, He was showing us that our Father cares about the practical, physical needs of our lives and our families, and that we can depend on Him day by day.
We sometimes expect that God's provision must come in a dramatic or spectacular way, as if He only works in a highly emotional or unusual setting. Yet the Lord most often works in quiet, natural ways. He opens doors for work, He provides opportunities to labor with our own hands, He moves in the hearts of others to share, and He gives wisdom for stewardship. The apostle Paul is an example of this, working with his own hands to supply his needs so that he would not put a burden on others, and seeing every honest opportunity to work as part of God's supply. In the same way, many times God answers the prayer for daily bread by providing work, by guiding decisions, and by the love and sharing within the family of God, where those who have abundance help supply the needs of others so there may be a greater equality and care in the body.
I also want to encourage you with this. The greatest miracle God does in any life is the miracle of freeing us from the power of sin and bringing us into His kingdom through Jesus Christ. That is the first and most important work, and from that relationship all other trust flows. Jesus was always sensitive and compassionate toward the physical needs of people, and He still is. He sees your family, He knows the pressures you feel, and He invites you to trust Him not only for a sudden breakthrough, but for faithful, daily provision and guidance.
So I am praying that the Lord will provide for your needs according to His wisdom and riches in Christ, that He will lead you to good and honest work and open doors that no one can shut, that He will give you wisdom to manage what He provides, and that He will give you and your family contentment and peace as you trust Him. I pray also that He will surround you with the support of the family of God, and that you will know His care in very real and practical ways.
May the Lord show Himself faithful to you, give you strength for each day, and help you to rest in His care, knowing that He who gave His Son for you will not fail to care for you in every need. In Jesus name, Amen.
