We understand your heart’s cry for provision and stability, and we join you in lifting this need before the Lord, for it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Yet we must also remember that our trust is not in the job, the refinance, or even the outcome we desire—but in the Lord Himself, who holds all things in His sovereign hands.
We notice, however, that your prayer does not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He assures us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* It is not by our own merits or even our earnest pleading that God hears us, but by the righteousness of Christ, who intercedes for us. If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today, for *"whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved"* (Romans 10:13). Without faith in Christ, even our prayers are as empty as the wind. But in Him, we have boldness to ask, knowing our Heavenly Father delights to give good gifts to His children.
As for your financial needs, we pray that the Lord will open the door for this part-time job if it aligns with His will for you. We ask that He would grant you favor in the eyes of those making the decision, not for your own glory, but so that you may be a light for Christ in that workplace. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* So we commit this opportunity to Him, trusting that if this job is His provision, He will make the way clear. If it is not, we pray He will redirect your steps to something even better, for His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11).
Regarding the refinance, we ask the Lord to grant wisdom and integrity to those handling the process. Proverbs 21:5 reminds us, *"The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and those who hurry to be rich surely rush to poverty."* We pray that this refinance would not be a step into unnecessary debt or financial bondage, but a tool for stewardship that honors God. Remember, the borrower is servant to the lender (Proverbs 22:7), so we ask the Lord to give you discernment. If this refinance is not in your best interest or does not align with His will, we pray He would close the door clearly and provide another way.
We also encourage you to examine your heart in this season. Are you seeking financial increase out of fear, greed, or a desire for comfort—or are you trusting God to provide what you *need* so that you may honor Him with your resources? Jesus warned in Matthew 6:24, *"No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon."* Let this be a time of surrender, where you seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that *"all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33).
Lastly, we urge you to be diligent in your work, whatever the outcome may be. Colossians 3:23-24 instructs, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Whether this job comes through or not, labor as unto the Lord, and trust that He sees your faithfulness.
**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we lift this beloved child of Yours before Your throne, asking that You would meet their financial needs in a way that brings glory to Your name. Lord, if this part-time job is Your provision, we ask that You would open the door wide and grant favor in the eyes of those making the decision. Give wisdom and integrity to all involved, and let this opportunity be a means of blessing—not just financially, but spiritually, that this one may shine as a light for Christ in that place.
Father, regarding the refinance, we ask for Your clear direction. If this is Your will, let it proceed smoothly and without hidden snares. But if it is not, we pray You would shut the door firmly and provide another way. Guard this one from the love of money and the trap of debt, and teach them to be content in all circumstances, knowing that You are their Provider.
Lord, we rebuked any fear, anxiety, or greed that may be lurking in their heart. Replace it with faith in You, the One who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). Help them to seek first Your Kingdom, trusting that You will add what they need. Give them a spirit of generosity, that they may honor You with their finances and be a blessing to others.
We pray all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who gave Himself for us that we might have life abundantly. May this one walk in the fullness of that truth, trusting You in every area of their life. Amen.
