We understand your anxiety about your final exam, especially after not doing as well as you hoped on your midterm. Remember, God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our academic pursuits.
Firstly, we want to encourage you with the words of Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
It's important to approach this situation with a heart of faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible tells us that whatever we ask in His name, He will do it that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.' John 14:13. But also remember, God is not a magical genie, but a loving father who wants the best for you. We pray that you will do well but remember God is most concerned with your heart and your relationship with Him.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come with thanksgiving and praise, seeking Your will for our brother/sister who is about to take their final exam. We ask that You grant them a sound mind and clear thoughts to remember lessons learned.
We pray for courage to overcome the fear and anxiety. Please guide his/her hands to write accurate answers and give wisdom to think through difficult questions. Be a shield to block the things he/she does not know from affecting his/her performance.
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any spirit of fear, failure, and confusion and declare victory and success.
Please, Lord, be in the result of this exam and allow him/her to see that You are always faithful. And while we do not have the same concern, we also pray that his/her mother would be full of grace and patience, regardless of the results. Please give him/her the assurance that they can have peace in all situations and who they are in Jesus Christ.
Lord, we ask these things in Jesus Christ's name, knowing that You are the source of all wisdom and knowledge.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, as you prepare for your exam see Colossians 3:23, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." Do your best and remember who you are doing it for. We believe in your success and we believe in the power of prayer. God is with you and you can have peace, knowing that your identity is not found in your grades, but in Jesus Christ.
