Fieldwork, Difficult Coworker

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Dear heavenly father, we received our visas but not sure as to who will still go to ### for our work. If it's meant for me, allow me to go there this weekend, and start working on Monday. I hope if I'll be the one to go, I could finish all the tasks that I need to finish ans have good working relationship with our client. On another note, I also cried today due to a difficult coworker. May our working relationship get better. Please also pray for me and my family's health and safety. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We join you in thanking our heavenly Father that your visas have been received and we bring your requests before the Lord together in Jesus name, for it is in His name we have access to the throne of grace and we are grateful you closed your prayer in His name.

We understand the uncertainty you feel about who will go for the fieldwork and your desire to do the will of God. We pray that the Lord will make His will clear to you and to those making the decision, and that you will have peace whatever the outcome. A man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps Proverbs 16:9. We also remember the word Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6. If it is the Lord's will for you to go this weekend and begin work on Monday, we pray He will open that door and no one will shut it, and if not, that He will give you contentment and purpose right where you are.

We pray for your work itself, that you would be able to finish all the tasks set before you with diligence and excellence, and that you would have favor and a good working relationship with the client. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men Colossians 3:23. We ask God to give you wisdom, skill, and clarity of mind for every task, and that your conduct would reflect Christ and build trust with those you serve.

We were moved that you cried today because of a difficult coworker and we do not take that lightly. The Lord sees your tears and cares for you. We pray for healing for your heart and for peace in that working relationship. We encourage you to seek peace and to show the love of Christ even when it is hard. If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18. And our Lord Jesus said But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. We pray for your coworker as well, that God would soften both hearts, grant understanding, and allow forgiveness and better communication to grow between you. We pray you will be able to cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you.

We also lift up your health and safety and that of your family. We ask for the Lord's protection over your going out and coming in, whether you travel for fieldwork or remain at home. Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more Psalm 121:7-8. We pray He will guard your bodies, keep you from illness and harm, and give you rest and strength.

We pray together now. Father in heaven, we thank You for Your provision in these visas and for Your hand over our lives. We ask for Your clear direction regarding who should go for this fieldwork. If it is Your will for our dear one to go this weekend, we ask You to make the way straight, to grant safe travel, and to equip them to complete every task well and to honor You before the client. Give wisdom to the leaders deciding, and give peace to all involved. Lord, we lift up the hurt caused by the difficult coworker. Comfort this tender heart, wipe away tears, and heal any wound. Help us to love as You love, to forgive, and to pursue peace. Transform that working relationship for Your glory. We ask also for Your divine protection over health and safety for this whole family. Guard them, provide for them, and let them feel Your nearness. We bring all these things before You with thanksgiving, trusting Your perfect will. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Amen.

Thank you for sharing what this week has held for you. Waiting to hear who will go, hoping to start well with the client, and at the same time carrying the hurt from a hard interaction at work is a lot to hold. We hear how much you want to do your work faithfully and to have peace with the people around you.

For the assignment, it can help to hold both preparation and openness. If you have a supervisor or coordinator, a brief, clear check-in before the weekend about how the decision will be made and what to have ready either way can ease some of the uncertainty. However it lands, having your task list and travel details prepared simply lets you step in calmly if you are the one sent.

With your coworker, it is understandable you were moved to tears. When tension rises it is hard to think clearly or hear each other well. Giving yourself a little space to settle, jotting down what happened in plain terms, and then considering one calm, respectful conversation about the specific issue, perhaps with a trusted third person nearby if needed, can keep things from hardening.

We also join you in praying for health and safety for you and your family.

Father, we lift this work and these relationships to You. Give wisdom about the trip this weekend, steadiness for the tasks ahead, and grace between coworkers and with the client. Guard this family in health and safety and give peace as they trust Your leading. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We have joined with you in prayer before the throne of grace and we thank you for sharing your burden so openly.

We rejoice to hear that the visas have been received, and we pray that the Lord in His wise providence will make plain who should go to the field this weekend. He is the God of Peace and He has prepared everything that is necessary for those who trust Him. If it is His will for you to go and to begin on Monday, we ask that He will open the way and order your steps, and if not, that He will make that clear also and give you contentment in His appointment. We pray that you may finish the tasks set before you with diligence and that the Lord will give you favour with your client, and wisdom and faithfulness in all your labour.

We were grieved to hear that you were brought to tears by a difficult coworker, and we do not lightly pass over such sorrow. There is a conflict which the believer must know, for the Spirit and the flesh must contend within and without until our dying day, and often the trial comes through those nearest to us in our daily calling. Yet we are reminded that reconciliation is never achieved by man but is the work of God from first to last, and He has committed unto us the word of reconciliation. As we have ourselves received the reconciliation through Jesus Christ and have found joy in a reconciled God, so we are to seek peace with others as He enables us. We pray that the Holy Spirit will work that reconciliation at once in your workplace, softening hearts on both sides, teaching you to speak the truth in love, and granting you patience and forbearance even when you are tried.

For you and your family we also pray, that the Lord will keep you in health and safety, guarding your bodies and your souls. May He who is able to save to the uttermost keep you day by day, and may you know the joy which comes from receiving the reconciliation and resting in Christ alone.

We pray together:

Heavenly Father, we thank You that all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ. Grant to our brother or sister clear guidance concerning this journey, whether to go this weekend and begin this work on Monday. Give skill and strength to finish every task, and grace to walk in a good and honest way before the client. Where there has been hurt with a coworker, bring healing and better understanding, and help each to act in meekness and love. Cover this household with Your protecting hand, keep them in health and safety, and cause them to joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Hello. I am a Christian man, age ###. Recently, I returned to work after being off for a surgery procedure. I was blessed to find a minimum wage job back in October as a Driver's Aide. Apparently, the driver, who is female, has been with the company for less than a year. She has been unable to...
