Fellowship, Connection, Blessing, Protection 💞 Love, 1 Jn 1:2-3, Laughter & Fun, Prov 17:22, Luke 10:21...

Your prayer for fellowship, joy, holiness and protection has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord with thanksgiving.

You have asked well to seek first fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, for as the Scripture says, our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son. The Father reveals the Son and the Son reveals the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him. Apart from Christ there is no true knowledge of God, no true peace, and no salvation, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone. In Him was life, and that life is the light of men, not a light perceived only by the senses but a light that enlightens the soul. All that the Father has belongs to the Son, and they share the same honor and substance.

You also long for grace and peace in your home, and that is right, for grace and peace come from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. This peace is the mother of all good things and the foundation of joy. Christ put an end to the war between God and man not by our labor but by His grace, and He came to reconcile things on earth and in heaven. Where peace is present, love is prepared. Where it is absent, everything is weakened. The peacemakers are called sons of God, and we are to pursue peace and holiness without which no one will see the Lord.

I pray with you for that holy joy you mentioned, the cheerful heart that is good medicine, the gladness with which Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and the blessedness of those who know the joyful sound and walk in the light of His countenance. As you quoted, righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne, lovingkindness and truth go before Him, and in His name His people rejoice all day and by His righteousness are exalted. May the Lord keep you in that light and make you pure in heart that you may see God.

For your son, I pray that the Lord will grant a regular and ordered time for you to be together, for to everything there is a season and God determines the boundaries of our dwelling. I pray that He will turn your hearts toward one another as promised, that you may train him in the Scriptures which are able to make him wise for salvation, teaching diligently as you walk by the way, bringing him up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord with mutual respect and honor. May the Lord protect him from deception, from evil influences and evil people, from temptation and from the evil one, and keep you all from the evil one as Christ prayed.

For the mother of your son, I pray above all that she would find peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, being justified by faith, and that she would come to a true knowledge of His love and His adoption of us as children. I pray that the Lord would deliver her from deception and sin and from every influence that leads away from truth, and that He would grant to her, to you, and to your son faith and patience to inherit the promises which are yes and amen in Jesus. I pray that love would abound in knowledge and discernment and in the knowledge of His will, that you may walk in wisdom.

You mentioned the provision for peace in cases of abandonment. Scripture holds marriage as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with the gift of intimate life belonging within that covenant alone. It also calls us to pursue reconciliation and holiness, to love righteousness and hate evil, and to walk in humility and merciful justice. Where reconciliation is possible, we seek it. Where a spouse departs from the covenant, we entrust ourselves to God who judges righteously and who turns the heart of kings like channels of water wherever He wills. He teaches both through His Word and through His loving discipline, and He corrects those He loves. Therefore ask continually for wisdom as you have been doing, that you may discern what is best and be pure and blameless until the day of Christ.

May the Lord grant you protection from evil people and imposters, growth in holiness and truth, and a home marked by prayer, worship, and thanksgiving. May He keep you in His grace and peace and cause that grace and peace to remain firm and unmoved in you. I ask this in the name of Jesus, confident that whatever we ask according to His will He hears, and thanking Him in advance for His faithful answer.
