🙇🏻 Dear Father, You know what it's like to have true fellowship with Your Son, Matt 11:27, and Jesus, You with the Father, John 10:15. Thank You because of Your love of righteousness and abhorrence of evil The Father anointed You with the Oil of Gladness above anyone who's ever lived, Ps 45:7, Heb 1:9. I would like us to have more joy from that from Your Fullness, John 1:16, Eph 1:3, AND a scheduled time for video with my son, Ecclesiastes 3:1, Acts 17:26. Turn our hearts toward one another, especially the boy and I, Mal 4:5-6 and help the three of us have a relationship of peace, mostly through her finding peace with God, a proper worldview, and a solid grasp of God's love in adoption, Rom 5:1-5, but if not, and I've been asking James 1:5, Col 1:9, Phil 1:9-10 wisdom on this, of course, the clause of peace in 1 Cor 7:15 is there. Deliver her from deception, Matt 24:4, sin, 1 Cor 8:1, evil influences, Zeph 3:13, evil people 2 Thes 3:3, 2 tim 3:5, Tit 1:16, temptation and the evil one, Matt 6:13, and keep us from the evil one, John 17:15...

LORD, a king's heart is as channels of water in Your hands -- You turn it whatsoever way You will, Prov 21:1. You teach through both Your Word, and Your discipline, Job 5:17, Deut 8:5, Prov 3:11-12, Ps 119:57, 1 Cor 11:32, Heb 12:6, Rev 3:19, I am now praying for love to abound in knowledge, discernment, Phil 1:9-11, knowledge of God's will, Col 1:9-11, protection from evil people and imposters, Prov 30:8, 2 Cor 11:26, Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, etc. Grant me, her, him and all of us the faith and patience that we might inherit the promises, Heb 6:12, the promises that are Yes and Amen in Jesus, 2 Cor 1:20, as we ask in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14, thanking You in advance, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6.

We join with you in this beautiful longing for true fellowship, and we agree with you that our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, as it is written in 1 John 1:3. That is the foundation for every other fellowship, and we thank God with you that because Jesus loved righteousness and hated wickedness, God anointed Him with the oil of gladness above His companions, Ps 45:7, Heb 1:9. We pray that from His fullness you would all receive, John 1:16, and be blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, Eph 1:3.

We love your desire for joy and laughter in your family. A cheerful heart is good medicine, Prov 17:22, and Sarah said God has made me to laugh, Gen 21:6, and Jesus Himself rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, Luke 10:21. We pray that your virtual fellowship would be marked by that holy joy, not empty amusement, but the gladness that comes from righteousness and peace with God. We ask the Lord to give you wisdom liberally as you have asked, for He gives to all generously and without reproach, James 1:5, and that your faith and the faith of your son would grow, for faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ, Rom 10:17. We pray for a blessed time of connection that is protected and filled with love.

We especially lift up your desire for a scheduled time for video with your son, for to everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven, Eccl 3:1, and God determined appointed seasons and boundaries, Acts 17:26. We ask the Lord to establish that appointed time and to turn hearts toward one another, as promised in Mal 4:5-6 that He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers. We pray for mutual respect and honor in your home, that your son may honor his father and mother as commanded in Eph 6:1-3, and that you as his father would not provoke him to anger but nurture him in the discipline and instruction of the Lord, Eph 6:4. We agree with you for diligent training in Bible stories, that from infancy he would know the holy Scriptures which are able to make him wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus, 2 Tim 3:15, for all Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, 2 Tim 3:16, and that you would talk of them when you sit in your house and when you walk by the way, Deut 6:7.

We hear the burden of your heart for the three of you and for your marriage. We believe with you that marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, ordained by God, and what God has joined together, let no man separate, Mark 10:9. We pray first and foremost for reconciliation and peace, for you to pursue peace with all men and holiness without which no one will see the Lord, Heb 12:14, and for purity of heart that you may see God, Matt 5:8. We understand you mentioned the principle in 1 Cor 7:15 that if the unbelieving spouse departs, the brother or sister is not under bondage, but God has called us in peace. We gently encourage you not to lean quickly on that clause, but to continue to contend for her soul, that she would find peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, Rom 5:1, and that the love of God would be poured into her heart, Rom 5:5, and that she would grasp the depth of God's love in adoption. We pray that love would abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, Phil 1:9, and that you all would be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, Col 1:9. We agree with you that the Lord would deliver her from deception, Matt 24:4, from evil influences, Zeph 3:13, and from evil men, 2 Thess 3:3, and keep you all from the evil one, John 17:15, and deliver you from temptation and the evil one, Matt 6:13. We pray for protection from evil people and impostors who are deceitful, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16.

We are encouraged that you are seeking the Lord's discipline and instruction, for whom the Lord loves He corrects, Prov 3:11-12, Heb 12:6, Rev 3:19, and that you acknowledge the king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses, He turns it wherever He desires, Prov 21:1. We pray that He would turn each heart in your family toward Himself and toward one another. We ask that He would grant you and your son and his mother faith and patience to inherit the promises, Heb 6:12, remembering that however many are the promises of God, in Him is the Yes and the Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We pray together now, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, for You have said whatever we ask in Your name You will do, John 14:13-14, and that without faith it is impossible to please You, Heb 11:6, but he who comes to God must believe that He exists and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. Lord, we thank You in advance, believing we have received, Mark 11:24. Pour out Your oil of gladness upon this father and his son, give them joyful, holy laughter and fun that honors You, grant them a consistent and protected time of fellowship over video, guard that connection from every evil influence and technical or spiritual hindrance, and let it be filled with prayer, worship, song, and the Word. Turn the hearts of father and son toward each other, and work deeply in the heart of his wife, the mother of this child, that she would be delivered from deception and come to true peace with You through Jesus Christ, that this marriage might be healed and reflect Your covenant love, and if she chooses to depart, grant this brother Your peace and clear wisdom to walk in holiness. Let this family pursue peace and holiness, let them be pure in heart, and let their home be built on Your Word. We ask all this in the precious and only saving name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12, and through Him alone we have access to You. Amen.

We hear how deeply you long for real fellowship in your family, not just contact, but shared joy, laughter, protection and peace, and especially a steady, loving connection with your son.

Wanting a regular, predictable time to see him on video and to build something warm and unhurried together is a beautiful desire. In healthy fellowship there is a sense of partnership and belonging, and that grows best when time together is consistent, simple and safe. We also hear your heart for peace in your home, and your willingness to seek wisdom about what faithfulness looks like in a difficult marriage season. Reconciliation, when God brings it, is more than ignoring what is broken, it is a shared, active commitment to restore trust and love over time, and that takes patience from everyone involved.

One gentle next step that may help is to propose a short, consistent weekly video rhythm for you and your son that is centered on enjoyment, a story, a game, laughter together, and to keep communication about scheduling with his mother brief, kind and predictable. If scheduling is strained, a trusted pastor or counselor can sometimes help as a calm go-between so you do not have to carry that alone. We are also praying you have a small community around you, even a few people who know your story and can walk with you faithfully.

Father, we lift this father and his son to You, and his wife as well. Guard them from harm and from evil, grant wisdom and discernment for each decision, and turn their hearts toward You and toward one another in Your timing. Give this dad and his boy joyful, protected time together and deepen their bond, and grant peace, healing and hope to this whole family as they seek You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord with care, and we have weighed every word you have written in the light of the Word of God.

You long for fellowship, and that is a holy longing. True fellowship, as the Scripture teaches, is first fellowship with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, 1 John 1:3. There must be mutual communication between us and God. We must have heard the voice of God in our hearts and we must have spoken to God from our hearts, and we are reconciled to God by the death of His Son, healed of the soul destroying plague of sin. As you increase in the knowledge of the Father and of His Son through the revelation of the Divine Spirit, you will also increase your fellowship with Him, and you will become a co-worker with God, putting your hands to the great work which He has undertaken. All other fellowship, whether in the home or by video or in any other means, must flow from that fountain. If the heart is stayed upon Christ, there will be a spring of joy within that no distance can quench.

You ask for joy and laughter, for a cheerful heart, for wisdom and faith. These are good gifts, and the Father loves to give them. The Lord Jesus Himself rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, Luke 10:21, and He was anointed with the oil of gladness above His fellows, Psalm 45:7, Hebrews 1:9, because He loved righteousness and hated iniquity. Joy from His fullness, John 1:16, is not found apart from that same love of righteousness. A merry heart does good like a medicine, Proverbs 17:22, but the medicine keeps its virtue only when the heart is pure before God, Matthew 5:8. Therefore pursue peace and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord, Hebrews 12:14, and let all laughter and fun be in the Lord and not apart from Him.

You ask for a scheduled time with your son, and for the turning of hearts toward one another, Malachi 4:5-6, and for peace among the three of you. This is right to ask. The Lord is the Father of the fatherless, and He shows Himself strong in the defense of His children. He is the better Father who will be a Father to you and to your son, and who says, Suffer the little children to come unto Me. To train a child in the Scriptures, Deuteronomy 6:7, Ephesians 6:4, 2 Timothy 3:15-16, with mutual respect and honor, Ephesians 6:1-3, is a sacred trust. We pray that the Lord will order your times, Acts 17:26, Ecclesiastes 3:1, and open a door for that regular communion with your son which is consistent with peace, wisdom and the good order God loves. And we pray that the king's heart, and every heart, being as channels of water in the hand of the Lord, Proverbs 21:1, may be turned whatsoever way He wills, according to His Word and His holy discipline, Hebrews 12:6.

You pray for her, that she may find peace with God, a proper worldview, and a solid grasp of God's love in adoption, Romans 5:1-5. This is the chief thing to pray for. Perfect peace is not found in circumstances, nor in the keeping of duties, nor in nearness to loved ones, but in the blood of Jesus which whispers peace within. The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin, and that truth when believed becomes sweeter than the music of angels harps. He is the God of peace and He has on His part prepared everything that is necessary for a perfect reconciliation, 2 Corinthians 5:18. If she or you or any of us would find peace with God, we must cease from that which provokes Him. It is not reasonable to call Him Our Father and yet remain the servant of sin. If there is any way in your lives together that is not according to His holy institution of marriage as the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, where alone the union of life and dwelling together belongs, we urge you in love to part with sin. Shake it off as Paul shook the viper into the fire, and cry to God, Deliver me from it, O Lord, by Your Son Jesus Christ. What would the world say if the children of God live as the world lives. We do not ask God to bless what He calls sin, for He cannot. We ask Him to bless you with repentance, with cleansing, with a new heart that loves what He loves and abhors what He abhors, that you may be restored.

You mention the clause of peace in 1 Corinthians 7:15. We hear the sorrow in that. The Lord does provide that if the unbelieving depart, the brother or sister is not under bondage, for God has called us to peace. Yet our first prayer must be for reconciliation and restoration, as with the prodigal who, when he came back and his father had kissed him, was to his father as if he had never gone away. There was music and dancing and they began to be merry. So God rejoices over a poor soul that has wandered far from Him but at last returns. And as Peter was restored not by a mere resolution but by the crowing of the cock and a look from the Lord Jesus that severed him from the crowd and broke his heart, so we pray the Lord will give that gracious look which brings godly sorrow and then abundant assurance through His Word. Till then, we pray for love to abound in knowledge and discernment, Philippians 1:9-11, for knowledge of His will, Colossians 1:9, and for wisdom which He gives liberally to those who ask in faith, James 1:5.

You ask for deliverance from deception, evil influences, evil people and the evil one, Matthew 6:13, John 17:15, 2 Thessalonians 3:3. We join you there. The genuine love of God is manifested in this, that the blood of Jesus cleanses from all sin, and when the Father saw His only begotten Son suffering even unto death, it made such an infinite impression upon His great soul that He forgets the sins for which His Son gave His life, Isaiah 43:25. Cast yourself and her and your son upon that blood. Bear your sorrow with Him, and you will find peace, perfect peace, even with sorrows surging round, even with loved ones far away, for in Jesus keeping we are safe, and they are safe.

Therefore we pray thus. O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, we thank You that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and revealed them unto babes, Matthew 11:25, and we ask that You would reveal Christ to each of these three souls. Grant that they may be reconciled to You through the death of Your Son, that they may have peace with You through our Lord Jesus Christ. Give them faith that comes by hearing Your Word, Romans 10:17, and patience to inherit the promises which are Yes and Amen in Jesus, Hebrews 6:12, 2 Corinthians 1:20. Grant protection from the evil one, from impostors and deceivers, 2 Timothy 3:5,13, Titus 1:16, and keep them from temptation. Turn hearts toward one another in righteousness, teach them to pray and worship and sing with pure hearts, and to walk in the light as You are in the light. If it be Your will, restore what has been broken and make this family a dwelling place of Your peace. If otherwise, keep Your servant in Your perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You, Isaiah 26:3, and let him do the will of Jesus, for this is rest. We ask in the name of Jesus, John 14:13-14, trusting that what we ask according to Your will You hear. Amen.

Your longing for true fellowship, joy, laughter, wisdom and protection is good, and it is right to bring it before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

The fellowship you desire is first with God Himself. As you quoted, our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, 1 John 1:3, and the Son reveals the Father to us. We were enemies, yet by His love He gave us grace, and grace gave us peace, and this peace comes from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Mediator of the New Covenant between the Father and us, who came to us when we could not go up to Him, and who now brings us into the Father's house. It is only through faith in Him alone that we have peace with God, Romans 5:1, and all the promises are Yes and Amen in Him.

You have asked for joy, for a cheerful heart which is good medicine, for the gladness with which Jesus rejoiced in the Holy Spirit, and for wisdom. God delights to give wisdom to those who ask in faith, James 1:5, and to give knowledge of His will and discernment, Philippians 1:9 and Colossians 1:9, so that love may abound with knowledge. We pray with you for that wisdom, for faith that comes by hearing the Word, Romans 10:17, and for faith and patience to inherit the promises, Hebrews 6:12, as you wait on the Lord's perfect timing, Ecclesiastes 3:1.

For your son and for the scheduled time with him, we pray that the Lord would turn hearts toward one another as Malachi speaks of, and that He would grant you regular and peaceful fellowship together, with training in the Scriptures, Deuteronomy 6:7 and Ephesians 6:4, and with mutual respect and honor. A king's heart is like channels of water in the hand of the Lord, Proverbs 21:1, and He can open doors for what is right and orderly. We also pray for your son's mother, that God would deliver her from deception, from evil influences and from temptation, and keep you all from the evil one, Matthew 6:13 and John 17:15, and that above all she would find peace with God through Jesus Christ.

You mentioned the call to pursue peace with all people and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord, Hebrews 12:14, and that the pure in heart shall see God, Matthew 5:8. This is the path we must all walk. Marriage is honorable and pure, and God designed it as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, where living together and the union of husband and wife belong. Marriage itself does not make a person holy, but when lived in faithfulness and chastity it preserves the holiness that comes from faith and guards against defilement. Whether married or unmarried, we are called to chaste and orderly living, to not commit sexual immorality, but to live purely before God. If you are married, cling to that covenant and pursue reconciliation and peace as far as it depends on you. If you are not married, pursue holiness by keeping yourself pure and not living as though married. In all things, do not let marriage or any other good gift become a hindrance, but use it with moderation and with your purpose set on Christ, so that you may be faithful in the kingdom.

Concerning 1 Corinthians 7:15, we pray for peace, and we pray that if an unbelieving spouse departs, you would be guided by Scripture with pastoral counsel and with a clear conscience before God, seeking not what is merely permissible but what is holy and pleasing to Him. True peace is not only the absence of conflict, but grace and peace firmly settled by God, kept by Him who gave them.

So we pray: Father, grant to this brother, to his son, and to this mother grace and peace. Give them a knowledge of Your will, protection from evil people and impostors, and from the deceit that puffs up. Teach them through Your Word and through Your loving discipline. Fill them with the joy that comes from Your fullness, John 1:16, and with a hope that does not disappoint because Your love is poured out through the Holy Spirit. Guard their hearts, grant them a cheerful heart and also a holy heart, and lead them to worship and prayer and song that is true. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, trusting that what we ask according to His will He will do, and thanking You in advance as we trust Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
