We hear the deep hurt and frustration in your heart and we are lifting you up together before the Lord. Feeling blocked in every area at once, financially, physically, and relationally, can be overwhelming and make you feel abandoned and lost, but you are not unseen by God. He is near to those who are hurting.
Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Hebrews 13:5 reminds us He Himself has said, I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you. Even when a man who courted you for almost a year ghosted you and abandoned you so cruelly, and even when employers and DoorDash closed doors, God has not left you. People may ghost and reject, but God never does.
We want to gently address something we noticed. You shared that you are constantly praying but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to share why that matters so much, because there is such hope in it. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is only through faith in Jesus that we have access to God and assurance that He hears us. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing He died for your sins and rose again, and confess Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. That relationship with Jesus is the foundation for every other prayer being heard and for true peace when life feels out of control.
You shared that you feel nothing is within your control right now and you wonder what you did to deserve this. We want to correct that burden with truth. Being a caring and loving person does not earn an easy life, and hardship does not mean God is punishing you. We all have sinned and need grace, and God allows trials not to crush you but to draw you to trust Him more deeply. Romans 8:28 says We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose. Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Your job loss after ten years, the long search since December, the loss of unemployment in June, and now the deactivation that feels so unjust are real hardships, and God cares about your provision. We pray you will seek Him first even in the financial pressure.
Matthew 6:33 says But seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. And Philippians 4:19 says My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. We encourage you to continue to work diligently as unto the Lord as Colossians 3:23 teaches, while trusting Him to open the right door in His timing. What man blocks, God can still provide through another way.
We also hear your diligence with your health, working with a trainer since February, doing cardio, eating healthy, focusing on protein and water. That stewardship of your body honors God, for 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 says your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. Yet we also encourage you not to let the number on the scale become your identity or your worth. God loves you and values you at any weight, and while we steward our health, we must not make it an idol or believe our worth for marriage depends on it. Cast that anxiety on Him as 1 Peter 5:7 says, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
Your desire for marriage and to biologically create children with the person you love is a beautiful and God honoring desire. We affirm that longing. Marriage as God designed is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and children are a gift from Him. Genesis 2:24 says Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh. And Psalm 127:3 says Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The right pursuit is not simply a vibe or attraction alone, though attraction matters, but a courtship with a fellow believer in Jesus that is intentionally aimed toward marriage, pursued in purity. Hebrews 13:4 says Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled. That means we save sexual intimacy for within marriage alone, and any sex before or outside marriage is fornication or adultery that God calls us to turn from. We encourage you not to settle for a relationship that is not centered on Christ, and not to force attraction where there is none, but to pray for a godly husband who will love you as Christ loves the church and who desires children within that covenant. We also want to encourage you that at this stage of life, you are not forgotten or too late for God. He made Sarah a mother in her old age and He knows the timing and the family He has for you if it is His will. Psalm 37:4 says Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart, as you delight in Him first.
Feeling that you are hearing nothing when you pray is painful, but God does hear. Psalm 34:17 says The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Sometimes His answer is wait, and waiting feels like silence, but Isaiah 41:10 says Dont you be afraid, for I am with you. Dont be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. We encourage you to be still before Him, to spend time in His Word daily, and to listen not just for a feeling but for His voice through Scripture.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before You and lift this precious soul to You. Lord, You see every tear, every application sent, every late delivery that was out of her control, every workout and every lonely night. We ask You to wrap her in Your peace that surpasses understanding and to remind her she is not abandoned. Forgive her sins through the blood of Jesus and draw her into close fellowship with Your Son. Provide for her financial needs, open a stable and dignified job that uses her gifts, and supply every need according to Your riches in glory. Strengthen her body and her spirit, help her to steward her health without anxiety, and let her find her worth in being Your daughter. Guard her heart from despair and from the lie that this stuck place is forever. Your Word says in Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future. Give her hope again. If it is Your will, bring a godly Christian man into her life who will pursue her with honor, love her faithfully, commit to marriage, and desire children with her in a Christ centered home. Help her to wait well, to pursue purity, and to keep her eyes on You first. Let her hear Your voice and know You are near. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only hope. Amen.
