Feeling ill

Beloved of All
Also have head pain and stress, need to get better there is several revents going on was invited to but don't know these people, have many stressing issues Jesus.

We hear your cry and we are lifting you up together before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, for you are feeling ill with head pain and carrying a heavy burden of stress and many issues weighing on you.

We know how the body and the spirit are connected, and when pain and pressure increase, our hearts can feel overwhelmed. Scripture reminds us that God cares for both. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. And Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We also cling to 1 Peter 5:7 which tells us to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you.

We encourage you to bring every stressor to the Lord and not carry them alone. Jesus himself invites us in Matthew 11:28, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. That rest is not only for sleep but for your mind and your head and your heart. We encourage you to seek quiet rest, to stay hydrated, to get sleep, and to seek wise medical care if the head pain continues, for your body is a temple to be stewarded well. Concerning the several events you were invited to with people you do not know, we pray for wisdom and peace. It is not a failure to need to step back or to choose only what you have strength for. The Lord does not call us to be at every gathering but to walk in His peace. Ask Him to show you where He wants you to be and to give you grace to say no without guilt if you need healing time. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We pray now together for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and lift up this dear one to You. You see the illness, the head pain, and the stress that feels so heavy right now. We ask for Your healing touch upon this body, for relief from pain, for restoration of strength and health. Lay Your hand upon this head and calm every nerve and bring comfort and soundness. We ask for Your perfect peace to guard this heart and mind and to lift the many stressing issues that are pressing in. Show Your will regarding these upcoming events, give clear direction, and remove anxiety about unknown people and situations. Provide rest, provide wisdom to prioritize, and provide Your presence to go before and be with this one wherever they go. We thank You that You are near to all who call on You in truth and that You hear us because we come through Jesus Christ our Lord. We trust You to restore and sustain, and we give You all the glory. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We will continue to keep you in prayer that the Lord will strengthen you, heal you, and fill you with His peace that passes all understanding as you trust Him day by day.

We hear how heavy this feels right now with not feeling well, the head pain, and all the stress pressing in at once. Wanting to get better while facing several events with people you don't know can make everything feel even more overwhelming, and we are really glad you reached out.

Please be gentle with yourself in these days. When our bodies are run down and our minds are full, even good invitations can feel like too much. It is okay to pause and ask what is most needed for your health right now, and to give yourself permission not to push through everything at once. If you have a trusted friend, family member, or pastor, sharing what is on your plate with them might lighten the load a little and help you think through which events to attend and which to step back from.

We also want to encourage you to reach out to your doctor or clinic soon about the illness and head pain, so you can get care and guidance alongside our prayers for you.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see the pain, the stress, and every worry weighing on them. Please bring Your comfort, bring healing according to Your will, grant wisdom for decisions about these events, and give rest and peace in the days ahead. Amen.

It has been laid upon our hearts to bring your burden before the Lord, for you speak of illness and pain in the head and much stress of mind, with events before you among strangers, and many pressing cares.

Our Savior says, Do not be anxious about your temporal affairs, and do not be so affected by external things as to get into a state of worry, fretfulness, care, anxiety and distress. Be prudent, and cast your care upon Him who cares for you. I have found, and you will find it true, that the very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty, and I have never discovered that anxiety has comforted anybody, or that it has brought any grist to the mill, or any meal to the barrel. If a thing does not pay, what is the good of it. Your stress about these gatherings and about not knowing those who have invited you, and all the other matters that crowd upon you, will not help you to bear them. Tell Jesus about it, rather than telling yourself about it in secret fretfulness, for no good will come of that.

There is healing in Christ, and that in abundance. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves, the little things as it were about Him, are full of healing virtue. He is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and when He comes and dwells with His people they have no need to say, I am sick, for pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you. So we look first to Him for the healing of the soul, and then for the healing of the body as it pleases Him to give it. He very speedily would have us care for bodily diseases, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing, and this is right and prudent, but the great healing is of His own hand, and a real saving work is the work of God and God alone. He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and there is a contact established between Him and His people by His incarnation, and He takes us by the hand and lifts us up.

We will pray for you. O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this afflicted one who is ill and pained in the head and pressed with stress. Lay Your healing hand upon the body, ease the pain, and give refreshing rest and strength according to Your will. Forgive sin and speak peace to the troubled heart, for You heal the broken in heart and bind up their wounds. Take away fretful anxiety and give a calm trust in Your providence, that this dear soul may be fitted to meet each difficulty in Your strength and not in the weakness of worry. Give wisdom concerning these events, whether to go or to stay, and if it be to go, give grace to be at peace among strangers, for You are there. Let the healing leaves of the Tree of Life change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before, and let faith come by hearing Your Word, for You linked healing with teaching. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our heavenly Physician, who is able to heal and who says to the backslider, Return, and to all who come, I will in no wise cast out. Amen.

Seek the Lord in His Word and in prayer, and use the prudent means for the body, and rest your soul upon Him. He must begin with you before you can begin with Him, and healing must come before serving. Wait upon Him, and He will give you what is best.
