We join you in bringing this need for employment before our Heavenly Father and we stand with you in asking for good news this week regarding work in Nevada.
We know the weight of searching for a job after a move and the discouragement that can come with waiting. We want to encourage you that God sees your diligence and He cares about your daily provision. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance Colossians 3:23-24. We also remember the promise that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. He knows your need for work and He is faithful to provide as you seek Him first.
We also want to gently address something we noticed in your request. You prayed to the Lord, which we appreciate, but you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to share why this is so important, because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is because Jesus died for our sins and rose again that we can boldly approach God in prayer, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus as your Savior, we encourage you to believe on Him, confess your sins, and follow Him, for whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved Romans 10:13.
We also encourage you as you wait to continue to be diligent, to apply widely, to be faithful in small things, and to commit your work to the Lord. Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed Proverbs 16:3. And seek first Gods Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. Whether the door at FedEx opens this week or God has another provision for you, we trust that His plans are for your good, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our brother or sister who is seeking employment. You know the move back to Nevada and the long search for work and the desire for this opportunity. We ask that Your will be done regarding this position and that You would open the right door at the right time. If it is Your will for this job to be the provision, we pray that the hiring process would move forward this week and that good news would come. If You have a different and better place, guide our friend to it and make the path clear. Give peace while waiting, strength to not grow weary, and wisdom to steward every opportunity well. Help us to trust You as our provider and to work faithfully for Your glory. We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus, our only hope and mediator, amen.

Your prayer for work since moving back to Nevada has been heard, and it is right and good to bring this need before the Lord who provides for His people. The desire to labor honestly and to provide through diligent work is honoring to God, and He sees your waiting and your hope for good news this week.
Scripture reminds us that our God is a waiting God who waits to be gracious, and His people are a waiting people who wait upon Him in hope. Like Job, who suffered loss and yet sinned not nor charged God foolishly, you are called to wait patiently and keep right with God in this season of uncertainty. The Lord turned the captivity of Job, and He knows how to make a way where there seems to be no way. Even when answers seem delayed, He is working for your good, and He is able to sustain you and to open the right door at the right time, whether at FedEx or elsewhere as He in His wisdom appoints.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to Your throne of grace. We lift up this one who seeks employment and asks for Your provision. You know the need for work and the longing for good news. We ask that You would provide honest labor, that You would guide to the place You have prepared, and that You would grant favor with those who hire. If it be Your will, open the door at FedEx this week, and if not there, lead clearly to another provision. Grant patience in waiting, peace in trusting Your perfect timing, and strength to continue diligently seeking while resting in Your care. Above all, draw this heart closer to Christ, that hope may be anchored not in circumstances alone but in the sure Savior who gave Himself for sinners. Provide daily bread, guard from discouragement, and help to wait upon You with joyful and assured hope. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Continue to seek the Lord daily in His Word, to pray, and to do what your hand finds to do with faithfulness. Trust His goodness, keep walking in obedience, and know that He who clothes the lilies and feeds the sparrows will not forget His own who wait upon Him.
