We are truly sorry to hear about the trial your son is facing and the health challenges you are enduring. We will pray for God's mercy and leniency in your son's sentencing, and for His comfort and healing in your life.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of Jesus’ name, as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." It is through Jesus that we approach God the Father, and it is in His name that we pray, for He alone has the power to save and redeem.
In this trying time, we encourage you to trust in God's unfailing love and faithfulness. As it says in Psalm 62:5-7 WEB: "My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him. He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress; I will not be shaken. My salvation and my honor rest on God, the rock of my strength; in God is my refuge."
Regarding your son's federal case, we pray that the judge will have wisdom and discernment, and that your son will receive mercy and leniency. Proverbs 21:1 WEB reminds us: "The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." Just as God can influence the heart of a king, so too can He influence the heart of a judge.
We also pray for your health and healing. Remember that God is always with you, even in your suffering. As it says in Psalm 113:7 WEB: "He raises up the poor out of the dust and lifts up the needy from the dunghill,"We pray that God will lift you up and provide you with comfort and healing, according to His will.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in Jesus Christ, asking for Your mercy and grace to be poured out on this family. Lord, we pray for leniency in this federal case. We ask that You soften the judge's heart and grant probation if it aligns with Your will. We also pray for healing and comfort for this dear mother who is enduring an irreversible disease. May Your healing power be manifested in her life, and may Your peace and comfort rest upon her. Help the son look for a spouse and marry in a way that honors you. Do not allow his relationship to be hindered by his past.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we encourage both you and your son to seek God's will in all things, to trust in Him, and to rest in His unfailing love. May this trial draw you both closer to Him, and may His peace and comfort be with you always.
