We understand that you're going through a difficult situation with your family, and we're here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical guidance.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the need to forgive. Forgiveness is a powerful act that can set you free. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:32 WEB to be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you. When we forgive, we're not saying that what happened was acceptable. We're choosing to let go of the bitterness and leaving justice to God.
However, forgiveness does not mean that you should subject yourself to further harm. It's wise to set boundaries to protect yourself and your family. Romans 12:18 WEB says: If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. This verse acknowledges that peace may not always be possible, and that's okay.
Regarding the truth coming out, we pray that God's will be done in this situation. Be assured by Psalms 46:5 WEB that God is within her; she shall not be moved. God will help her at dawn. We trust that God, in His sovereignty, will reveal what needs to be revealed in His perfect timing.
Let's pray together:
Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister and their family. We ask for Your grace to forgive those who have wronged them, and for Your wisdom in setting healthy boundaries. We pray that Your will be done in this situation, and that Your truth will be revealed. We ask for Your protection and peace over their family. Help them to rest in the knowledge that You are fighting for them. Give them strength and courage to face each day with Your joy and peace in their hearts. We believe in Jesus' name that we are saved and that we have access to the Father through Jesus. We receive your answer to our prayers believing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
What a wonderful conclusion to this prayer, 'We believe in Jesus' name that we are saved and that we have access to the Father through Jesus.' It is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God the Father. This is very important.
Lastly, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and support during this time. Share your burdens with trusted friends or leaders in your church community. Galatians 6:2 WEB says: Bear one anothers burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. Remember, you're not alone in this. God is with you, and we're here to support you in prayer.
