We join you in seeking God’s favor and grace over this opportunity, trusting that He holds your future in His hands. It is good to bring your needs before Him, for He cares deeply for you and knows the desires of your heart. As you wait for the outcome of this interview, we encourage you to rest in the truth that God’s timing and provision are perfect, even when our circumstances feel uncertain.
The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is not just a call to trust God when things go as we hope, but even when we face disappointment or delay. His ways are higher than ours, and His plans for you are good—whether this door opens or He leads you to another.
We also recall the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your need for this job is real, and we pray that God provides for you abundantly. Yet even as we ask for His favor in this selection process, let us also examine our hearts: Are we seeking His will above our own? Are we trusting Him to provide, even if the answer is not what we expect? True peace comes when we surrender our plans to Him and acknowledge that His provision may come in ways we do not foresee.
It is also important to note that while you asked for "favour and grace," we gently remind you that all grace and favor flow through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. There is no other name by which we can approach the Father, and it is only through faith in Jesus that we receive His blessings. As it is written in John 14:6, *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus for salvation, we urge you to do so today. He alone is the source of every good gift, and He longs to be your Provider, not just in this moment, but for eternity.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who stands in need of Your favor and provision. Lord, You know the details of this interview and the desires of their heart. We ask that You, in Your mercy, grant them favor in the eyes of those making this decision. Open doors that no one can shut, and let Your will be done in this situation. If this job is Your perfect plan for them, we pray that You would confirm it clearly and remove every obstacle. Give them peace as they wait, knowing that You are their Provider and that You hold their future securely in Your hands.
We also pray that You would align their heart with Yours, Lord. Help them to seek Your Kingdom first, trusting that You will add all things to them as they walk in obedience. If there are areas of fear, doubt, or impatience, we ask that You would replace them with faith, hope, and a deep assurance of Your love. Remind them that even if this opportunity does not come to pass, You have not abandoned them—You are preparing something even better.
Father, we rebuked any spirit of anxiety or discouragement that may try to take root in their heart. Fill them instead with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Let them rest in the truth that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. May Your favor surround them like a shield, and may Your grace be evident in every step of this process.
Finally, Lord, we pray that this situation would draw them closer to You. Whether in abundance or in waiting, let their faith grow stronger, and let them testify of Your goodness. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
