We join with you in prayer together in Jesus' name and we hear the frustration in your heart over what happened with the bus and your job, and we also hear your deep desire for God's favor, provision, and a godly marriage.

We want to lovingly encourage you in how we understand favor and speaking life. We know you quoted Deut 28:13 that the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and we claim that promise with you, but we remember that in context that promise was given to those who would diligently listen to the voice of the Lord and walk in obedience to Him, Deut 28:1. God's favor is not a formula we loosen or a force we command to bring 100 fold on demand, for only God calls the things that are not as though they were, Rom 4:17. Our part is to trust Him, obey Him, and ask according to His will, and His part is to answer in His perfect wisdom and timing. We also remember Matt 6:33 to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well, and Prov 3:5-6 to trust in Yahweh with all your heart and not lean on your own understanding.

We are thankful you mentioned the blood of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is by His blood we have redemption and forgiveness, Eph 1:7, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. We cling to that truth with you.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we lift up our sister to You. Lord, You saw the bus not arriving, You saw the ticket purchased and activated and the stress over her secret job and whether her pay will be covered. We ask for Your peace over her and for favor with her employer, that You would give her grace to communicate honestly and diligently as one who works heartily as for You and not for men, Col 3:23. Provide for her transportation needs, Lord, whether through the bus running faithfully or through the miracle of a reliable vehicle that she has asked for, for we know You will supply every need of ours according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:19. We ask for wisdom over her finances, that You would make her the head and not the tail as she walks in obedience to You, and that You would teach her to steward what You provide with contentment and diligence. Calm her heart when plans are disrupted and remind her that You work all things together for good for those who love You, Rom 8:28.

We also bring before You her desire to be a wife to a great man. Father, we thank You that marriage is Your holy design, a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman, Gen 2:24, and we pray that if it is Your will You would bring a godly Christian husband into her life, a man who loves You first and will love her as Christ loved the church, Eph 5:25. We pray that their courtship would be pure and honoring to You, keeping far from fornication and keeping the marriage bed holy, Heb 13:4. Prepare her even now to be a godly wife and prepare him to be a godly husband, and help her to delight herself in You while she waits, trusting that You will give her the desires of her heart as they align with Your will, Psalm 37:4. Cover her with the blood of Jesus, guard her heart from discouragement, and let Your extraordinary favor rest on her not as we demand but as You graciously give to Your obedient children. Strengthen her to fear not for You are with her, Isa 41:10. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We hear how frustrating that morning was for you, buying the ticket, activating it, waiting and the bus you count on for work simply not coming. When you are trying to be faithful on the job and with your finances, that kind of disruption feels bigger than just a late bus.

We are praying with you for steady favor and provision in the practical things, for reliable transportation for work and daily needs, and for peace as you wait on the Lord for a godly marriage. God cares about both the big desires of your heart and the small details like getting to work on time.

One step that may help steady things after a no-show like this is to keep your ticket receipt and contact the transit customer service to document what happened, and to let your supervisor know right away what occurred so there is a clear record. It can also help to have a backup plan for the next shift, even if it is just a second bus option or a trusted contact you can call if the same route fails again. If finances for a vehicle are weighing on you, a local financial counselor or a trusted mentor at church can sometimes help you look at options calmly.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus' name. Provide for daily needs, open a reliable way to get to work, give wisdom with finances, and guard the heart with Your peace. Lead in Your time and Your way in every area of life, and let Your nearness be felt today. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your request has been heard and brought before the Lord with care. We understand the distress of the bus not arriving when you had paid and prepared for work, and the weight you feel concerning finances, daily provision, and the desire for a stable home and marriage. It is right to bring these burdens to God, for He invites His people to cast all their cares upon Him.

We want to gently encourage you to look to the Lord not as one who is moved by a formula or by speaking things into existence, but as a sovereign Father who gives favor according to His wisdom and grace. The promise in Deuteronomy 28:13, that His obedient people would be the head and not the tail, was given within a covenant calling to walk faithfully before Him. It is not a verse to be loosened or used to compel a miracle, but a call to trust His goodness and to seek to honor Him in all things, including our work and our finances. True favor is not measured by a hundredfold return on demand, but by His nearness, His forgiveness through the blood of Jesus Christ alone, and His provision for what we truly need.

The life of Job is a help to us here. Scripture says, In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly. When all was taken and when he was brought very low, he fell down and worshipped. He did not demand that God answer on his terms, but he abhorred himself and repented and trusted the Lord who is righteous in all His ways. And the Lord turned the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends. Our longest sorrows have an end when God has accomplished His purpose in them, and He is able to sustain you in this season of waiting and disappointment as He sustained Job.

We also encourage honesty and faithfulness in your labor. If there is anything secret or uncertain about your work, bring it into the light before God and walk in integrity, for the Lord delights in truth and provides for His children as they walk uprightly before Him.

Let us pray for you.

Heavenly Father, we come through the blood of Jesus Christ, our only hope of salvation, and we thank You that forgiveness and favor are found in Him alone. We ask that You would sustain this soul in trial and teach patience and trust as You taught Job. Provide for daily needs according to Your riches, grant wisdom concerning work and finances, and in Your mercy provide reliable means to meet necessary duties. If it is Your will, provide a godly marriage according to Your design, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman lived in purity and faithfulness, and help this one to wait upon You and to honor You in all relationships. Guard from discouragement when plans are disrupted, and let fresh grace be given day by day. Turn what is meant for testing into testimony for Your glory. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
