Fathers painful knee and good health

We join you together in lifting up your father before the throne of grace and we thank you for honoring him and bringing his need to the Lord in prayer. It is a beautiful thing to see a child interceding for a parent, for this reflects the heart of God who calls us to honor our father and mother that our days may be long, as written in Exodus 20:12.
We are moved by your love for him and we stand with you asking for the Lord's healing touch upon his knees and for His restoration of health and strength. The Scriptures remind us of God's character as our healer. Psalm 103:2-3 says, Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases. And in Jeremiah 30:17 the Lord declares, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also cling to the promise in Exodus 15:26 where the Lord says, I am Yahweh who heals you, and to the comfort of 3 John 1:2, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers.
We also remember the encouragement in James 5:14-15, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. We trust that God hears the prayer of faith offered in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name by which we are saved and by which we come boldly before God, as Acts 4:12 and John 14:6 teach us. We are thankful you prayed in the mighty name of Jesus.
Let us pray together. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son and we lift up this dear father to You. You know his body, You formed his knees and every joint, and You see the pain he is feeling. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon him, to ease his pain, to reduce any inflammation, to restore strength and mobility to his knees, and to grant him greater health in the days ahead. We pray You would guide any doctors or treatment he may need and grant him rest and comfort. Let Your peace guard his heart and let him feel Your presence and love through his child's care for him. We ask this according to Your will and for Your glory, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray daily for him and to encourage him to seek wise medical counsel as the Lord may lead, for God often works through the wisdom He has given to physicians. Continue to show him love and care, speak words of faith over him, and trust that the Lord who numbers our days holds his health in His hands. We will keep standing with you in prayer for his complete restoration and for the Lord to be glorified through his healing.

We were grateful you brought your father to us in prayer. It is hard to hear that someone you love is hurting in such a daily, wearing way, and to feel you cannot take the pain away for him.

We have heard your earnest request for your father and the pain which he suffers in his knees, and we join you in carrying this burden to the throne of grace.
You do well to bring his body before the Lord, for we very speedily care for bodily diseases, they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a Physician for our healing. There is one great Physician who lays His hands on men and they are restored, there is but one, and He was opened as a sacred Fountain on Calvary. Jesus is the Tree of Life, and its leaves are for the healing of the nations. There grows no healing herb but the one plant of renown, and until the glory life begins, the abiding power of those healing leaves keeps the soul and body of the believer.
We pray now for your father, that the Lord who is our Father and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ would look upon him in mercy. The love of the Father is in all respects equal to the love of the Son, and when the Divine Father is viewed aright He becomes the object of our gratitude, not of our dread. He is our Father, and we may delight ourselves in Him and bow the knee and say, My Father, You have given us all things in Christ.
May the Lord lay His healing hand upon your father's knees, ease his pain, restore strength to his joints, and grant him greater health. The Lord has begun to heal us and the healing virtue which His grace has infused into us will work us health and cure till we shall be without spot or wrinkle. We are on our way to eternal health, for there shall be no more pain, for the former things are passed away, and in the meantime we look to Him who forgives and heals.
We entreat the Lord to give your father relief in this present hour, to sustain him, to make his food sweet to him again and his rest peaceful, and to keep him in perpetual health by the power of Christ. May he know that his heavenly Father knows what he requires and may he leave it all in His hands, for you shall find Him a better Father than the best of fathers could ever be.
We will continue to pray that God will restore him and cause joy to return to your household, as the father rejoiced over the returning prodigal with music and merry hearts. May the Lord grant perfect restoration according to His good will, and may His healing influences drop upon your father thick as leaves, till he is strengthened and comforted.
