๐Ÿ™Œ Father's Glory 1st Jn 7:18 ๐Ÿ™ Then Our Needs Added (His Provision, Our Relationship to God & Others, Protection), Matt 6:9-13; c.f., Matt 6:33...

Thank you for sharing this prayer. There is deep wisdom in seeking the Fatherโ€™s glory and His kingdom before anything else. Jesus taught us to pray that way, and when we do, our own needs take their proper place. Too often, we begin with our daily bread or our debts, but you have started where He started: with His name, His kingdom, His will. Keep that order. It anchors the soul when life feels uncertain.

These are days when the kingdoms of this world seem loud and unshakable. Evil is paraded, and what is good is called evil. But Scripture reminds us that every earthly kingdom rises only for a time. One stands forever, and that kingdom belongs to our God. Already there are two opposing kingdoms at work: one of light and life, the other of darkness and death. You have been delivered from the power of that darkness through Jesus Christ, so live now as a citizen of the light. The kingdom of God is not distant and theoretical; it is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. Even now, you can bring deliverance into the places you walk as you hold out the message of the King.

Asking for daily bread is a childโ€™s simple trust; your Father knows your needs. But the greatest need you and I have is forgiveness. If our sins remain, we stand before God in judgment. Yet in the same breath, Jesus teaches us to forgive others. That can be the hardest part when we have been wronged. But a forgiven heart that refuses to forgive is a contradiction. Let His mercy toward you soften every resentment. Forgive as you have been forgiven. It is not pretending the debt was small; it is releasing it into the hands of the righteous Judge.

โ€œLead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.โ€ This is a cry for protection, not a suggestion that God tempts anyone. He never does. But we are wise to ask that we would not be led into a place where our weakness might be overwhelmed. The enemy prowls, but Jesus has already bound the strong man. His kingdom has been invaded, and through His name you have authority over every foul spirit. When you pray for deliverance, you are standing behind the Victor. Satanโ€™s kingdom will fall completely one day, and Christ will reign. Until then, we live in the in-between, but never alone.

Do not be alarmed at the abnormal growth of false things that claim to be the kingdom. The parable of the wheat and the tares warns us that counterfeits will grow alongside the genuine. Some things that call themselves righteous are nothing more than forced, man-made imitations. But the true kingdom is like leaven working quietly through the whole loaf, like a hidden treasure worth selling everything to obtain. When you seek it first, you find your priorities purified. Riches that try to choke the word lose their grip. Trust placed in anything else becomes as foolish as building a golden image of your own kingdom. Only Godโ€™s kingdom is everlasting.

Know that the evil you see and the evil you may suffer are not signs that God has withdrawn. The prophet Micah faced a generation that boasted of their evil and said, โ€œIs not the Lord among us? No disaster will come.โ€ They treated the temple like magic. Yet God allowed hard consequences to turn hearts back. If you are walking through a storm, it is not proof He has abandoned you. Often it is His severe mercy calling you, or someone near you, to turn from an evil way. Cling to Him. The kingdom of our Lord is coming in full, and when it does, the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. That is your hope. That hope is sure.

So continue to pray with confidence: โ€œYour kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.โ€ Let that prayer reshape your desires, your forgiveness, your dependence, and your alertness against temptation. The kingdom, the power, and the glory belong to Him forever. He is faithful. In Jesusโ€™ name, Amen.
