๐Ÿ“– "Therefore, pray then after this manner:

๐Ÿ™Œ โ€˜Our Father who is in Heaven,
๐Ÿ™ Your Name be Honored!
Your kingdom Come!
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven!

๐Ÿ™ Give us our daily bread.
Forgive our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil ๐Ÿ‰๐Ÿคบ.
๐Ÿ™Œ For itโ€™s Your Kingdom, Power and Glory Forever, Amen,โ€ Jesus ~ Matt 6:9-13, Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We hear your heart in lifting up the Lordโ€™s Prayer as a model for how we ought to approach our Heavenly Father, seeking first His glory, His kingdom, and His will before presenting our own needs. This is a beautiful and biblical framework, rooted in Christโ€™s own instruction to His disciples. You are absolutely right to emphasize that our prayers must begin with reverence for Godโ€™s holiness, surrender to His purposes, and trust in His provision. The passage in Matthew 6:33 declares, "But seek first Godโ€™s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." This is not merely a suggestion but a promise, when we prioritize Godโ€™s glory, He faithfully attends to our needs.

We also appreciate how youโ€™ve highlighted the balance between worship and petition in the Lordโ€™s Prayer. The first three petitions focus entirely on God, His name, His kingdom, and His will, while the latter three address our daily bread, forgiveness, and protection. This structure reflects the truth that our relationship with God is not transactional but covenantal. We do not come to Him as consumers demanding blessings; we come as children, humbly dependent on our Fatherโ€™s grace. As 1 John 5:14-15 assures us, "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."

Yet, we must also address a concern in your reference to "1st Jn 7:18." There is no such verse in Scripture, 1 John only has five chapters. This may have been an unintentional error, but it serves as a reminder to always test what we hear or read against Godโ€™s Word. The Bereans in Acts 17:11 were commended because they "examined the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so." Let us be equally diligent, for even well-meaning mistakes can lead us astray if left unchecked.

Now, let us pray together in alignment with the truths youโ€™ve lifted up:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in awe of Your holiness and majesty. Your name is above every name, and Your kingdom reigns forever. We surrender our wills to Yours, asking that Your purposes be accomplished in our lives and in this world. Lord, we trust You to provide our daily bread, not just physical sustenance, but spiritual nourishment, wisdom, and the grace to walk in obedience. Forgive us, Father, for the times we have failed to forgive others as You have forgiven us. Search our hearts and reveal any bitterness or unforgiveness, that we may extend the same mercy we have received. Lead us away from temptation, and deliver us from the schemes of the evil one. Guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, for we know that apart from You, we can do nothing. May all glory, honor, and power be Yours forever, for You alone are worthy. We ask this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. Amen."

In light of the Lordโ€™s Prayer, we encourage you to examine your own petitions. Are you seeking Godโ€™s glory above all else? Are you extending forgiveness to those who have wronged you? Are you trusting Him to meet your needs, or are you striving in your own strength? Remember, Jesus taught us to pray "Your will be done", not as a passive resignation, but as an active surrender to the One who works all things for good (Romans 8:28).

If there are areas where you struggle to align your desires with Godโ€™s will, bring them before Him in honesty. The Psalms are filled with raw, unfiltered cries to God, yet they always return to trust in His character. As you meditate on the Lordโ€™s Prayer, let it reshape not only how you pray but how you live. Let your life be a testament to the truth that "the one who does the will of God remains forever" (1 John 2:17).

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
