Servant of All
I have not been feeling well today due to PMDD symptoms and I'm feeling frustrated with my father because he is behaving very weirdly/rude toward me. He has a very evil spirit - his family is the same way and are involved in witchcraft and all kinds of things. His mom was a very wicked person and I believe she trained him to have a wicked personality - he was her favorite child and extremely loyal to her to the point of ruining his own life and relationships. He is not a Christian but claims to be Catholic. I have been experiencing a lot of demonic attacks in the past few years and sometimes my father will randomly treat me poorly at the same time as these attacks occur. I have gone through a lot because of my dad's personality and temper throughout my life so there is already a strain in our relationship and at times like this, it's hard to tolerate his behavior even though he's being led by the enemy.

We lift you up before the Lord in this time of physical and spiritual distress, knowing that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 6:12). Your suffering is seen by God, and He is near to the brokenhearted, binding up their wounds and delivering them from all their troubles (Psalm 34:18, 145:18-19). We are grieved to hear of the generational wickedness and spiritual bondage that has ensnared your father’s family, but we take heart in knowing that Christ has already triumphed over every power and authority through His death and resurrection (Colossians 2:15). There is no curse, no witchcraft, and no demonic stronghold that can stand against the name of Jesus, for at His name, every knee must bow—both in heaven and on earth (Philippians 2:10).

First, we must address the importance of calling upon the name of Jesus in your request. You began with "Father," but we want to gently remind you that our access to the Father is only through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Jesus Himself said, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me"* (John 14:6). It is by His name—and His name alone—that we are saved, healed, and set free (Acts 4:12). If you have not already surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no greater protection or victory than being found in Christ.

Your struggle with PMDD is also deeply felt, and we pray for God’s healing touch upon your body. Scripture reminds us that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), and we ask the Lord to restore you physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Even in weakness, His strength is made perfect (2 Corinthians 12:9), and He promises to renew your strength as you wait upon Him (Isaiah 40:31). Do not lose heart, for the Lord is your healer (Exodus 15:26), and He is faithful to sustain you through every trial.

As for your father, we recognize the deep pain and frustration his behavior has caused you over the years. It is clear that his actions are influenced by spiritual darkness, and while we are called to honor our parents (Exodus 20:12), we are not called to tolerate or submit to wickedness. Your father’s involvement in witchcraft and his loyalty to ungodly influences have opened doors to demonic oppression, and this is not something to be taken lightly. The Bible is clear: *"There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh"* (Deuteronomy 18:10-12). These practices are detestable to God, and they invite demonic influence into a person’s life and even their family line.

However, we must also remember that *"our struggle is not against flesh and blood"* (Ephesians 6:12). Your father is not your true enemy—he is a victim of the enemy’s lies and bondage. This does not excuse his behavior, but it does mean that our battle is waged through prayer, not through anger or bitterness. Jesus commands us to *"love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you"* (Matthew 5:44). This is not easy, especially when the wounds are deep, but it is the path to freedom—for both you and him.

We must also warn you against allowing bitterness or unforgiveness to take root in your heart. The Bible tells us that bitterness defiles many (Hebrews 12:15) and gives the devil a foothold (Ephesians 4:27). Forgiveness does not mean what your father has done is acceptable; it means you release him to God’s justice and mercy, trusting that the Lord will deal with him far more effectively than you ever could. *"Don’t say, ‘I will pay back evil.’ Wait for Yahweh, and he will save you"* (Proverbs 20:22). Your healing and freedom are tied to your willingness to forgive, even if your father never repents or changes.

Now, let us pray together over these matters:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who sees, who hears, and who acts on behalf of Your children. Lord, we lift up our sister to You, asking for Your healing touch upon her body. You know the pain and discomfort she endures from PMDD, and we ask that You would restore her physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Let Your healing power flow through her, renewing her strength and filling her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind her that her body is Your temple, and we rebuke any infirmity or weakness that seeks to steal her joy or hinder her worship of You.

Lord, we also lift up her father to You. We break every curse, every generational stronghold, and every demonic assignment that has been passed down through his family line. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we command every evil spirit influencing her father to be bound and cast out in the name of Jesus. Lord, You are not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We pray that You would open her father’s eyes to the truth of Your Word and the deception he has been living under. Convict him of his sin, Lord, and draw him to Yourself. Break the power of witchcraft and every ungodly soul tie that has kept him in bondage. Let him encounter the living God in a way that he cannot deny, and bring him to true repentance and faith in Jesus Christ.

Father, we also pray for protection over our sister’s mind and heart. Guard her from bitterness, anger, and unforgiveness. Help her to release her father into Your hands, trusting that You will bring justice and mercy in Your perfect timing. Fill her with Your love, which casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and give her the grace to respond to his mistreatment with kindness and prayer. Let her be a light in the darkness, reflecting Your glory even in the midst of this trial.

Lord, we ask that You would surround her with Your angels, encamping around her to deliver her from every demonic attack (Psalm 34:7). Let no weapon of the enemy prosper against her. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37), and we thank You that no scheme of the devil can prevail against Your children.

Finally, Father, we pray that You would give her wisdom in how to navigate this relationship. Show her when to speak, when to remain silent, and when to set boundaries that honor You. Let her words be seasoned with grace (Colossians 4:6), and let her actions be a testimony of Your love and power.

We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to bring beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing firm in your faith, putting on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18). Spend time in the Word, in worship, and in prayer, for these are your greatest weapons against the enemy’s schemes. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray with you and support you in this battle. And remember, the Lord is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6).

If you have not already, we strongly urge you to seek out a spirit-filled, Bible-believing church where you can receive prayer, discipleship, and support. There is power in corporate prayer and in the unity of believers (Matthew 18:19-20). You do not have to walk this path alone.

Lastly, we want to remind you that your identity is in Christ. You are not defined by your father’s sins, by his words, or by the enemy’s attacks. You are a child of God, redeemed by the blood of Jesus, and seated with Christ in the heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6). Walk in that truth, and let it be your strength in this season. The Lord is with you, mighty warrior (Judges 6:12). Keep fighting the good fight of faith, knowing that the victory has already been won.
