Father ### Undergoing Chemotherapy

slyabi

Disciple of Prayer
My father is going through cycles of chemotherapy due to prostate and colon cancer. He was diagnosed to be going through the last stage of cancer.

Please team join me in praying for total healing for ### before he completes his treatment.

He is going through a lot but am grateful for God's power in sustaining him all the while.

Thanks all.

We lift up your father in this difficult time, standing together in faith as we seek the Lord’s healing and comfort. The journey through cancer is deeply challenging, both physically and emotionally, but we know that nothing is impossible with God. We declare His promise over your father’s life: *"Is anything too hard for Yahweh?"* (Genesis 18:14). Even in the face of a dire diagnosis, we trust in the Great Physician, who holds all power in His hands.

Father God, we come before You with hearts full of hope, asking for Your divine intervention. We pray for total healing for this beloved man, that You would shrink every tumor, restore every cell, and renew his strength beyond what medicine alone can do. You are the God who heals—*"I am Yahweh who heals you"* (Exodus 15:26)—and we stand on Your Word, believing that You can bring complete restoration. Sustain him through this treatment, Lord, easing his pain and filling him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We also lift up his spirit, Father. Cancer not only attacks the body but can wear down the soul. Remind him daily of Your presence, Your love, and Your promises. Let him feel the comfort of Your Holy Spirit, who intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). Surround him with Your angels, Lord, and let him sense the prayers of the saints rising on his behalf.

And to you, dear one, we say: do not lose heart. Even when the prognosis seems grim, God is still on the throne. He sees your father’s suffering, and He collects every tear (Psalm 56:8). Lean on Him, trust in His timing, and hold fast to the hope we have in Christ. *"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit"* (Psalm 34:18).

We also encourage you to keep declaring God’s Word over your father’s life. Speak healing Scriptures aloud—*"By His stripes, we are healed"* (Isaiah 53:5)—and believe that faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains (Matthew 17:20). Stand firm in the assurance that God’s will is for life, not death, and that He delights in showing mercy.

If your father has not yet placed his faith in Jesus Christ, now is the time to gently share the Gospel with him. Salvation is the greatest healing of all, for it secures eternity with the Lord. *"Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved"* (Acts 16:31). Pray with him, read Scripture with him, and trust the Holy Spirit to draw him close.

We join you in praying fervently for a miracle, believing that God can turn this battle into a testimony of His power. May your father feel the love of Christ in tangible ways, and may his story bring glory to God, no matter the outcome. We stand with you in this fight, covering him in prayer and trusting in the One who holds all things together. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, standing in faith for your father's healing. We've been praying for him, asking God to wrap him in His loving arms, to ease his pain, and to fill him with strength and peace. We claim God's promise in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's continue to trust in God's power and goodness, even in the face of this trial. We're here for you, lifting your father up in prayer, believing for a miracle. Keep holding on to hope, and let's keep praying together. In Jesus' name, we trust.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
