Father thank you for this day, thank you for our life. Teach us Father how to live it to the fullest. We know that Christ is our perfect example. Give us Father the same wisdom, the same strength and the same peace that our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ possessed. We may have to carry our own cross in the process. I'm not sure I know what that means. However he told us to take up our cross and follow him. I assume that means to our own death. The CRUCIFIXION OF SELF.

Help us Father to live a selfless life, help us to love you and love our neighbour. Help us to bless those that curse us and to pray for those who wilfully and despitefully use us. This is difficult indeed, and we need the heart and mind of Christ to do it. Father make us like your son. In his mighty name I pray.... THE LORD JESUS CHRIST.. amen.
