We come before the Father with you in this time of distress, lifting your plea to Him in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. The violence and abuse you describe are grievous in the sight of God, for He calls us to live in peace and love, not in fear or harm. The Scriptures are clear that we are to flee from anger and violence, and that those who persist in such wickedness will face judgment unless they repent. Proverbs 22:24-25 warns us, *"Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger: lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul."* Similarly, Psalm 11:5 declares, *"Yahweh examines the righteous, but the wicked and him who loves violence his soul hates."*

Your safety is of utmost importance, and we urge you to take immediate steps to remove yourself from this dangerous situation. The Lord does not call us to endure abuse but to seek protection and justice. Romans 13:4 reminds us that governing authorities are established by God to punish wrongdoers and protect the innocent: *"for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn’t bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil."* Taking legal action is not only wise but aligned with God’s design for justice. We encourage you to reach out to local authorities, trusted believers, or organizations that can provide shelter and support. You do not have to face this alone.

We also recognize the deep emotional and physical toll this has taken on you. The stress and sleeplessness you feel are real, but we pray that you cast these burdens upon the Lord, for He cares for you deeply. 1 Peter 5:7 assures us, *"Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* Your pain—both physical and emotional—is seen by God, and He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We pray for your healing, both of your body and your spirit, and that the Lord would grant you rest and clarity in this season.

Let us also address the heart of this matter: forgiveness and protection. While we pray for your safety and justice, we must also pray for the salvation of this man, that God would convict his heart and bring him to repentance. Jesus commands us in Matthew 5:44, *"But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you."* This does not mean you must remain in harm’s way, but it does mean releasing this man into God’s hands, trusting that the Lord will deal with him justly. Your obedience to Christ in this is a testimony of His grace in your life.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister who is in deep distress. Lord, You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You remove this abusive man far from her, Lord—break his power over her and bring an end to his violence. Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and place a hedge of protection around her home, her body, and her mind. Grant her wisdom as she seeks legal action, and guide her to the right people who can help her escape this danger.

Father, we pray for her healing—touch her shin and remove the pain, restore her strength, and calm her mind. Replace her stress with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Let her sleep be deep and restorative, free from fear. Lord, You know the plans You have for her—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give her hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Show her the way she should go, and make Your path clear before her.

We also pray for the salvation of this man, Father. Convict his heart of his sin, and bring him to true repentance. Soften his heart of stone and break the spirit of anger and violence within him. Let him encounter Your truth and mercy, that he may turn from his wicked ways and seek forgiveness. But Lord, even as we pray for his soul, we ask that You restrain his hands from doing further harm. Let justice be served, and let Your will be done in this situation.

Father, we ask that You provide for her every need—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Surround her with Your people, Lord, who will support her, pray with her, and walk alongside her in this trial. Remind her that she is not alone, for You are with her always (Matthew 28:20). Strengthen her faith, and let her trust in You grow deeper through this storm.

We rebuke the spirit of fear, violence, and oppression in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You shall condemn. Fill her with Your Holy Spirit, Lord, and let Your peace guard her heart and mind.

In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to stay rooted in the Word of God and in prayer. Lean on your brothers and sisters in Christ—share your burden with trusted believers who can pray with you and support you. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy seeks to destroy, but God is your protector. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6), and He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you (Philippians 1:6).

If you have not already, we urge you to seek counseling from a biblically grounded pastor or Christian counselor who can help you navigate this situation with wisdom and care. You are precious in God’s sight, and He has a purpose for your life. Trust Him to lead you through this valley and into His light.
