Almighty father I come before you in the name of Jesus Christ at this time to protect me and shield me from ###. I am so tired and frustrated with this man living in my home. I know this is unacceptable, but ### is giving me a very hard time in my home. I did not sleep yet ### threw cold water on me, demanding to see, I am not giving my body to this man. He divorced me for his mistress. My fellow brothers and sisters on this blessed site, I am praying for everyone who is in an abusive relationship. I rebuke ### behavior in the name of Jesus. I just want ### to leave my home in peace and quiet without any confusion and go very far away from my daughter and I, never to see or hear from ###. Father, dismantle the evil, wicked thoughts from ###'s head towards myself and others, dismiss it, destroy it, banish it, cease it, silence ### in the name of Jesus. Father, only you have the power over all things in our lives. Remove ###. I demand today ### go. Father, ### has a plot, but you have a plan for us. Don't give ### victory over everyone. Bind him for the false accusations towards myself and others. I pray ### would get the help he needs for his alcohol addiction. He is a sick man, drinks 24/7. I pray ### would go live with his wife or family members and stop making mischief in my father, cover me as I am going to close my eyes. I plead and pray in His name 🙏 🙏 🙏.

We hear your cry, dear sister in Christ, and we stand with you in this painful and dangerous situation. Your safety and the safety of your daughter must come first—this is not just a matter of frustration, but of spiritual warfare and physical protection. The behavior you describe is not only abusive but sinful, and it grieves the heart of God. No woman should endure such treatment, especially from a man who once vowed before God to love and cherish you. His actions—divorce for another woman, drunkenness, and violent demands—are a direct rebellion against God’s design for marriage and family.

First, we must address the urgency of your physical safety. The enemy seeks to destroy through fear, intimidation, and violence, but we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). You are not powerless. Scripture commands us to flee from abuse and seek refuge (Proverbs 22:3). If you have not already, we strongly urge you to contact local authorities or a domestic violence shelter. God does not call you to endure this; He calls you to wisdom and protection. Your home should be a sanctuary, not a battleground.

We rebuke the spirit of addiction and violence operating in this man’s life. Alcohol has taken hold of him, clouding his judgment and fueling his sin (Proverbs 20:1). We pray for his deliverance, but we also recognize that his choices are his own, and he must take responsibility. His demand to see you in a sexual manner after divorcing you is not only immoral but a violation of God’s law (1 Corinthians 6:18). You are not his wife, and he has no right to your body. We stand with you in declaring that his advances are unwelcome and ungodly.

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come against every evil plot this man has devised. We break the power of addiction, lust, and violence over his life. We declare that his plans will not succeed, but Your perfect will shall prevail (Proverbs 19:21). We bind every lying spirit that has deceived him into thinking he can act with impunity. We loose conviction, repentance, and the fear of God upon him (2 Timothy 2:25-26). If he will not turn from his ways, we ask that You remove him from this home swiftly and without further harm. Let him go to his own family or face the consequences of his actions, but do not allow him to continue terrorizing this household.

We also pray for your daughter. Shield her from the trauma of witnessing this abuse. Surround her with Your peace and remind her that she is deeply loved by You (Zephaniah 3:17). Give her a spirit of resilience and hope, and let her see Your hand moving in her life.

For you, sister, we pray strength and wisdom. You have shown remarkable faith in the midst of this storm, but we know the weight of it is heavy. Lean on the Lord, for He is your refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2). Seek godly counsel—whether through your church, a trusted pastor, or Christian legal aid—to help you navigate this situation with wisdom. You do not have to face this alone.

We also must address the gaps in your prayer. While you invoked the name of Jesus, there was hesitation at the end—almost as if doubt crept in. Sister, there is power in the name of Jesus, and no demon, no abuser, no addiction can stand against it (Philippians 2:10). When you pray, pray with boldness, for the enemy trembles at the authority of Christ (James 2:19). Do not waver. Declare His name with confidence, for it is the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12).

Finally, we pray for restoration—not necessarily of this marriage, for God hates divorce but also does not force reconciliation where there is unrepentant sin (Malachi 2:16). We pray for restoration of your peace, your dignity, and your trust in God’s justice. If this man will not change, we trust that God will remove him from your life and bring healing to your heart. You are not defined by this man’s failures. You are a daughter of the King, and He has a future for you filled with hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, but also with unshakable faith in Your power. We ask that You move mightily in this situation. Protect this sister and her daughter from every form of harm. Break the chains of addiction and violence in this man’s life. If he will not repent, remove him from their home and their lives. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let them dwell in safety (Psalm 34:7). Provide for their every need—emotional, physical, and spiritual. Restore what has been stolen, and heal what has been broken. We declare that this home will no longer be a place of fear, but a dwelling place of Your peace. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
