Father in the name of your only SON the LORD JESUS CHRIST, the truth of HIS WORD, AND TH POWER of HIS HOLY SPIRIT, I ask YOU to hear my prayer today for repentance of the sin that has plagued me for years. It is one thing to ask for help and not do what you tell me to do about it and quite another to want so desparately to change and not have the faith to do so. I feel so defeated and helpless to be able to submit to your will and yet I believe with my heart you are the only way to life and freedom from sin. I don't want to go to hell but to heaven. I want to live a life of righteousness and love for you and others. But my selfishness and love of my sin runs so deep if you don't intervene I will die without the repentance your word says I need. PLEASE GOD change my heart, wash me white as snow, create in me a clean heart and bring about in me a right spirit that I may serve you and tell others of your saving grace and power to save. I LOVE YOU JESUS.
