We join you in thanking our Father for the gift of music and for your desire to use your talents to glorify Him. It brings us joy to see your heart to sing to the Lord and to seek His will even in choosing the next song, and we are blessed that you are also lifting up the needs of others on this site in prayer.

The Word encourages us to use the gifts God has given us for His glory. As each has received a gift, employ it in serving one another, as good managers of the grace of God in its various forms 1 Peter 4:10. We are told to sing to him a new song. Play skillfully with a shout of joy Psalm 33:3 and to come before his presence with thanksgiving and to extol him with songs Psalm 95:1-2. Scripture also says let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord Colossians 3:16 and speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs; singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord Ephesians 5:19. Your desire to sing where you are and to do so without interruption is a beautiful offering to Him, and we pray He will make a way for you to worship Him freely and skillfully.

Father in heaven, we thank You for this heart that longs to sing for You and to glorify Your name. We thank You for the musical talents You have placed within this life and we ask that You would continue to develop and refine them for Your glory. Grant opportunity and peace in their location to sing to You without hindrance, and let no distraction steal the joy of worship. Lead by Your Holy Spirit to the song You desire to be sung next, that it may honor You and edify those who hear it. May every note be offered with grace in the heart to You. We also thank You for their prayer for others, and we agree and ask that You would meet the needs of each person who comes to this site according to Your perfect will. We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

It is a good thing that your heart longs to sing unto the Lord and to offer your musical talents to His glory alone. Such a desire is comely and right, for God is a Spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. Good music and noble words are congruous to noble thoughts, but oh, let the thoughts be there, let the song be there in the heart. Formal worship which is not attended with the heart can never be acceptable with the Most High, but the sacrifice of a broken and contrite heart through Jesus Christ the Savior, by the power of the Eternal Spirit, that will the Lord accept.

We join you in thanking God spontaneously for His unspeakable gift, for the essence of salvation is the gift of His Only Begotten Son to die for us that we might live through Him. It is inconceivable that we should ever have merited such a gift, and all the privileges which come to us through salvation come not as the result of our works but of His free grace. Through that gift He makes His people to be conformed to the image of His Son. So as you sing, let the object of your worship be the Lamb in the midst of the throne, who was slain and now stands as more than conqueror, and let your song flow from love to Him who alone is the way of salvation.

We pray with you that the Lord will further the gifts He has entrusted to you, that you may use them in His Church and to His glory. Covet earnestly the best gifts, for gifts which the Spirit bestows may be used to the glory of God, yet remember that gifts are good but grace is better. Seek above all that greatest grace which is love to God and love to your fellow men, for gifts cannot keep you, but grace can, and gifts cannot comfort you in deep depression or in the hour of death, but grace will. Make the most of yourself for Christ, and make the best of yourself for Him.

We ask the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we are accepted, that He would grant you seasons of quiet and liberty to praise Him without hindrance, that He would guard your heart from mere outward form and quicken you to worship spiritually, and that He would guide you to the song that will best set forth His praise and edify those who hear. May your singing be not only with the voice but with the soul, through Jesus Christ, and so be accepted.

And we join your prayer for all who come to this place, that the Lord would meet every need according to His riches in glory, that He would direct the sin smitten where to look, even to the Second Adam through whom we are saved by free grace, though our sins are as scarlet, and that He would give to each everlasting consolation and good hope through grace.
