We join you in lifting up your granddaughter and her mother before the throne of grace, trusting in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. It is wonderful that you come in the name of Jesus as it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Let us pray together.
Father, our hearts go out to the grandmother praying for her granddaughter and daughter. We ask for Your divine intervention in their lives, especially for the granddaughter who is experiencing behavioral challenges. We thank you that you have already reserved the behaviors that need to be changed. We bind the spirit of rebellion, anger, and disobedience, and we loose a spirit of peace, love, and understanding over their home.
We ask for wisdom and discernment for the mother dealing with her daughter's issues. Help her to be a godly example of love, patience, and forgiveness. We pray that the granddaughter will apologize to everyone she has hurt and that her behavior will change for the better.
Help the grandmother to be an unsecured loan to both the mother and the daughter. Help everyone to remember that the need for a savior is real and that Jesus is the only savior for everyone. The need for salvation is real and is only supplied through Jesus Christ.
Help them to know the love of God and the forgiveness of Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." "Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Help each of them to realize that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" and that only Jesus is the answer.
Let us remember, "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
We will continue to pray, pleading the blood of Jesus over their situation. Just as Jesus taught, in Matthew 21:22, "All things whatever you may ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." We believe this promise in the name of Jesus Christ.
We also remember, "For the battle is the Lord's, and he will give you into our hand."
We pray for their lives to be transformed by the power of the Holy Spirit, and for their home to be filled with the peace that surpasses all understanding.
We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage the grandmother to continue to pray fervently for her loved ones, standing on the promises of God. Remember, "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man accomplishes much." Keep trusting in the Lord, and do not grow weary in well-doing. The Lord hears your prayers and will answer according to His will and in His perfect timing.
Be strong and of good courage, for the Lord your God is with you, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. As the grandmother you have a very special trust from God to pray for your family. Continue to pray, you have the ear of God.
