Family

We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious family to our Heavenly Father. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord, Savior, and Mediator, that we have the boldness to approach God’s presence (Hebrews 4:16). There is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We rejoice that you have called upon His name, for it is the power of Jesus that breaks chains, heals wounds, and brings salvation to every soul.

Father God, we first pray for the salvation of every member of this family. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of Your Word and soften their hearts to receive the gift of eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Lord, let Your Holy Spirit convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and draw them into a personal relationship with You. May they confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead, for with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9-10).

We also lift up the healing of this family, both physically and spiritually. You are the Great Physician, Jehovah Rapha, and we trust in Your power to restore health and wholeness. "He himself took our infirmities, and bore our sicknesses" (Matthew 8:17). Whether the ailments are seen or unseen, we ask for Your healing touch to flow through every cell, every emotion, and every thought. Bind up the brokenhearted, Lord, and set the captives free (Isaiah 61:1). Heal marriages, mend relationships, and restore what has been lost or stolen by the enemy. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we plead the blood of Jesus over this family for divine protection. The enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield around them (Psalm 91:11). Protect them from physical harm, spiritual attacks, and the schemes of the devil. Guard their minds from fear, anxiety, and doubt, and fill them instead with faith, hope, and love. "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?" (Psalm 27:1).

We also take a moment to rebuke any ungodly influences or sin that may be present in this family. If there is unforgiveness, bitterness, or strife, we ask that You uproot it and replace it with Your love and grace. If there is any form of immorality, addiction, or idolatry, we stand against it in the name of Jesus and command it to leave. "Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10). Lord, cleanse this family with the blood of Jesus and set them apart for Your holy purposes.

We encourage this family to draw near to You, God, through prayer, reading Your Word, and fellowship with other believers. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season they will reap a harvest if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Remind them that You are faithful, and Your mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). May they find their strength in You, for those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

Heavenly Father, we lift up this family to You now, trusting that You hear our prayers and will move mightily on their behalf. May they experience Your love, grace, and power in tangible ways. Let them be a light to others, shining brightly for Your glory. We ask all these things in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We are praying with you for your family, for salvation, healing, and protection. It is a tender thing to carry these people on your heart before the Lord, and we are grateful to join our faith with yours as you stand in the gap for them.

Sometimes it helps to remember that prayer is not about getting the words just right. It is about relationship. As you keep bringing your family before God, you are entrusting them to the One who loves them even more than you do. He sees every hidden need and is already at work in ways you may not yet see. Keep lifting them up, not only with words but also with your quiet trust. When you wonder if your prayers are making a difference, remind yourself that God’s timing and His ways are deeper than ours, and no prayer offered in faith is wasted.

In the days ahead, you might also look for small opportunities to be a quiet reflection of Christ’s love to your family, a patient response, a note of encouragement, an offer to pray with someone when they share a struggle. These simple acts often open doors for deeper conversations about faith. Above all, keep praying with expectation, not because we demand miracles, but because we serve a God who hears and who is fully able to save, heal, and protect.

Father, we lift up this dear person and each member of their family to You. We ask for the gift of salvation, that every heart would turn to Jesus and find life in Him. We pray for healing in whatever areas are needed, physical, relational, emotional, spiritual, and for Your strong protection over them all. Give this child of Yours steady hope and patience, and let them see Your goodness unfolding in their family in the days to come. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The very cry of your heart has reached the throne of grace, for you have set your seal to the name of Jesus. It is no small thing to plead for salvation, healing, and protection over your household, and the Lord delights to hear such petitions from those who look to Him alone. But let me press upon you the Gospel with all plainness: salvation is not a thing to be earned by prayers or tears, but received by simple faith in the finished work of Christ Jesus. The Scripture saith, “Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed.” Believe on Him, trust your soul, your eternal all, into the pierced hands of the Crucified. This is the one foundation laid in Zion, and no other can bear the weight of a guilty sinner. Look unto Him, all ye ends of the earth, and be ye saved. There is life in a glance; no pilgrimage required, no long preparation, only the soul’s naked trust in the Person of the Redeemer. He is Salvation itself, not merely the Giver of it: to see Jesus is to see salvation, full and free, without money and without price.

Now as for healing, I would have you know that the least thing about Christ drips with restoring virtue. He is the Tree of Life whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. Your bodily frame, your wounded spirit, your broken ties, all these may be brought under the shadow of that Tree. His stripes are the balm; His presence the sure remedy. The healing He gives is not always according to the flesh, for sometimes He cures the soul while the body waits for the resurrection; but be assured, in His wisdom He will grant what is best. Cast every care on Him, for He careth for you. The Great Physician never lost a case, and He never refused a sinner who came to Him with the leprosy of sin. Plead His promises, and expect the leaves that heal.

You have cried out for your family, and that is a holy plea. The Lord often takes the jailer and brings him to faith, and then uses him as a decoy to draw the whole household into the gospel net. He who called Lydia called her household. He who saved Noah shut in his family with him in the ark. Seek the common salvation, that rich deposit of grace which belongs to every true believer, the forgiveness of sins, the new birth, the indwelling Spirit, and then, in the power of a consistent life and earnest intercession, labor that your loved ones may partake of the same. A rejoicing family is a renewed family; let your house be a Bethel, a place where God is worshipped and where the leaves of the Tree are ever fresh. If you are the Lord’s, claim His covenant for your seed, and rest in His faithful word.

And what of protection? The salvation that is God’s is bulwarks and ramparts round about His people. “I will rejoice in Thy salvation,” said the Psalmist, for it is a fortress that cannot be stormed. He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. Your times are in His hand; neither plague nor arrow shall come nigh your dwelling without His wise permission. Trust Him implicitly. The irreversible seal of His honour is pledged to keep the meanest of His sheep. When you have committed your soul to Him, you are safe beyond hazard, for none can pluck you out of His hand.

Therefore, I bid you look, and look now. Let nothing keep you from a full reliance on Jesus. If you have already believed, then continue as you began, resting wholly on Him. The salvation you seek is not far off; it is nigh thee, in thy mouth and in thy heart. Take Him as your Saviour, your Healer, your Shield, and then go forth with joy, for you shall be as the blessed man whose leaf also shall not wither. May the God of all grace make your household a garden where the healing leaves are ever within reach, and may you all, from the youngest to the eldest, be partakers of the common salvation, growing up into a holy temple in the Lord. Cry mightily, for He heareth; and despair not, for the blood of Jesus speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for your family is fitting, and the name of Jesus is the only name by which we must be saved. Pray for them daily, and do not let prayer become a substitute for obedience. Salvation is not one part only. It requires careful hearing of the word, continual remembrance, courage, freedom from the love of the world, and patient endurance. Therefore let your home be a place where Scripture is read, sin is confessed, and your household learns to follow Christ with their whole lives.

Ask the Lord for healing and protection with confidence, for He is full of mercy and He hears those who call upon Him through His Son. Yet remember the Apostle's word, that whether we are afflicted, it is for our comfort and salvation, working patient endurance, and whether we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation. If God grants health and safety, give thanks. If He permits affliction, receive it as training, and do not let it turn you away from Him.

Do not put off your salvation or that of your family to another day. Now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation. Christ came not to judge the world but to save the world. He takes away the sin of the world. Run to Him without delay, and lead your family to Him, so that not only your prayer but your whole household may be found in Him. I join you in asking the Lord for these things, in Jesus' name. Amen.
