Family

We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious family to our Heavenly Father. It is clear that your desire is for salvation, healing, and protection, not just for yourself, but for those God has entrusted to your care. We rejoice that you have invoked the powerful name of Jesus in your request, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Christ that we are reconciled to God, and it is through His blood that we find forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life.

Father God, we first pray for the salvation of every member of this family. We ask that You would open their eyes to the truth of Your Word and soften their hearts to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over each one, that they may be drawn to You, repent of their sins, and be born again by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Let none be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin, but let each one come to know You as Lord and Savior.

We also lift up the need for healing, spiritual, emotional, and physical. The Bible tells us that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and that You are the God who restores and makes all things new. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through this family, mending broken hearts, renewing weary spirits, and restoring bodies weakened by illness or affliction. May they experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

For protection, we stand on Your promise that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every scheme of the enemy, every spirit of division, fear, sickness, or destruction, that seeks to harm this family. We declare that they are hidden in Christ, covered by the blood of the Lamb, and surrounded by Your angels. "The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower" (Psalm 18:2). We pray against every attack of the enemy, whether seen or unseen, and ask that You would station Your angels around them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).

Lord, we also ask that You would strengthen this family in their walk with You. May they be rooted and grounded in love, growing in the knowledge of Your Word and the power of Your Spirit. Help them to walk in unity, forgiveness, and grace toward one another, reflecting the love of Christ in all they do. Teach them to pray without ceasing, to trust You in every circumstance, and to lean not on their own understanding but to acknowledge You in all their ways (Proverbs 3:5-6).

We rebuke any spirit of complacency or lukewarmness that may have crept into their lives. The Bible warns us that because of the increase of wickedness, the love of many will grow cold (Matthew 24:12). We pray that this family would be on fire for You, passionate about Your kingdom, and unashamed of the gospel. Let them be a light in their community, a testimony of Your goodness, and a family that seeks first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33).

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your Spirit upon this family in a fresh and powerful way. May they experience a revival in their hearts, a hunger for Your presence, and a boldness to share the hope that is within them. Equip them to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, putting on the full armor of God so that they may stand against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:10-11).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior, Healer, and Deliverer. Amen.

We’re joining you as you lift your family before the Lord. It’s a gift to see you reaching out on their behalf, and we want you to know that you’re not just sending words into the air when you ask for salvation, healing, and protection. You’re laying them in the hands of the One who made them and loves them most.

It can feel weighty to carry so much for so many. One thing that helps keep the load from becoming heavy is to get specific, not only for your own heart but in how you pray. Maybe this week you pick a quiet moment and go through each person by name, bringing the single need that seems most pressing for each one. That can turn a broad, worthy request into something deeply personal. And when the answer isn’t obvious yet, we find steadiness by reminding ourselves that God is the source of every good gift; our trust rests in His character, not in a timeline we can track.

We’re praying with you for your family’s salvation, for healing where it’s needed, and for God’s keeping hand around each of you.

Lord Jesus, we bring this family to You. For those who don’t yet know You, draw them gently, remove whatever blinds them, and let them see who You truly are. Where sickness or injury has worn them down, bring Your restoring touch. Place a hedge of protection around each one, mind, body, and spirit, and guard them from the evil that seeks to steal and destroy. Give this one who prays a quiet confidence that You hear every word and are at work right now, in ways seen and unseen. We ask all this in Your powerful name, Jesus.

Your prayer for salvation, healing, and protection is a cry that rises to the very throne of grace, and I rejoice that it is offered in the name of Jesus. What you ask is what the Gospel freely gives, for the Scripture says, "Whosoever believeth on Him shall not be ashamed." Salvation is not a prize for the industrious, but a gift for the trusting. Look unto Christ and be saved! It is not a look of labor, but a look of faith, the simple act of the soul that clings to the Person of Jesus. Bring nothing, for the wine and milk are without money and without price. Leave all your works and weariness, and depend wholly on Him, and you shall find that He Himself is your salvation.

You cry for healing, and well you may, for Christ is the Tree of Life whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Him has virtue, a touch of His garment, a glance at His wounds, a whisper of His name. The disease of sin, the sickness of sorrow, the plague of a broken spirit, all yield to these healing leaves. Only taste of them, and the life-blood of His grace shall change your nature, making all things new. This healing is not a supplement to salvation; it is part of the same divine work, for He saveth His people from their sins and all their miserable consequences.

You plead protection for yourself and your family, and this too is folded within the great salvation. The Lord's salvation is from beginning to end His own work, and none can pluck those He saves from His hand. When salvation is God's, planned by Him, purchased by Him, applied by Him, it is safe beyond hazard. Commit your souls and your household to Him with unwavering confidence. Did not the jailer's whole family believe and rejoice? Seek this household salvation, for the promise is unto you and your children. Cry out until every member is gathered into the gospel net, not one left outside.

The salvation you desire is the common salvation, free to all who will receive it. It is not for a few saints of high degree, but for the blackest sinner, the most hardened heart, the most unlikely hearer. Therefore let no thought of unworthiness hold you back. Look now to Jesus, despise not the simplicity, for in looking is life. Then shall you say with Simeon, "Mine eyes have seen thy salvation," and your house shall be a rejoicing house, now and in the assembly of the redeemed above.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

What you have prayed is good, and God hears these words. But I must earnestly ask you: do you treat this very day as the acceptable time, the day of salvation? For it is not enough simply to ask; the careless hearing of the word yields no lasting fruit unless virtue is cultivated with fortitude, and the heart is freed from the overmastering care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches. A single part of devotion is not sufficient for salvation.

When you pray for protection and healing, understand also that whether we be afflicted, it can work for comfort and salvation, producing patient endurance. Our hope is steadfast knowing that as you are a partaker of the sufferings, so you shall be of the comfort. Christ Himself, who knew men’s secret scoffings, spoke the things that are for salvation, not condemnation. He came not to judge the world, but to save it. Do not put off this gift to your latest breath.

The many are not so moved by sublime declarations about God as they are when an act of lovingkindness pertaining to their own salvation is proclaimed. Here is One who will deliver you from the charges that lie against you. Why delay? So pray, but see to it that you do not just hear and then remain entangled in gluttony, vainglory, or love of ease, for hearing alone is not sufficient. Let your whole household stir itself to lay hold of salvation. Do not be among those who perish because they cannot recognize the very things that lead to life. The Lord is at hand.

Prayer for your family's salvation, healing, and protection is a cry that resonates deeply with the heart of God. You are asking for what He designed family to be, a place of refuge, legacy, and shared life under His care. The longing to see your household whole, safe, and walking with the Lord is not a small thing.

Think about the way the Scriptures portray family as something to be preserved and redeemed. When a family’s name or inheritance was in danger of being lost, God provided a way for a kinsman-redeemer to step in. Someone near of kin could pay the price to restore the land and raise up a name so the family would not be blotted out. That earthly picture points us to a far greater Redeemer, Jesus Christ, who is not ashamed to call us His brothers and sisters. He steps into our broken stories to secure an eternal inheritance that can never perish. So when you pray for your family’s salvation, you are asking the ultimate Redeemer to claim what is rightfully His. Keep praying and speaking the word of the Lord to those in your house, believing that God desires them to know Him.

We also see in the family of God a bond that runs deeper than blood. The church is a household where older men are like fathers, older women like mothers, and peers like brothers and sisters. There is a profound comfort in knowing that even if your natural family stands distant from your faith, you are not alone. Jesus knew what it was to have His own family question Him, yet He pointed to those who do the will of His Father as His true family. Today, you are surrounded by a spiritual household. Your love for Christ must remain first, exceeding every other loyalty, but He often uses the encouragement of this new family to sustain you as you pray for the family you were born into.

Regarding healing and protection, remember that our Lord is a God of compassion. When others argued over the proper day for healing, Jesus saw a person in need and restored him. Nothing prohibits mercy, and no technicality restrains the restorative power of our Savior. You can ask with confidence for His healing hand upon your loved ones. For protection, recall the promise given to Jacob to return to his land and his family: "I will be with you." The journey back involved facing old fears and unresolved conflicts, but God’s presence went before him. In the same way, committing your family into God’s hands means trusting that He goes with you, even when circumstances loom like four hundred armed men. He is able to guard each member.

As you persist in prayer, let your faith be matched by practical care. The Scriptures teach us that caring for the needs of our own household is a fundamental mark of genuine faith. While we cannot force a decision for Christ, we can provide an environment where the love of God is seen through tangible acts of kindness, patience, and provision. Ask the Lord to give you opportunities to serve your family in a way that makes His grace visible. And as you do, trust that the God who preserved a remnant through the flood and who gave a land grant to every family in Israel is both willing and able to secure your household for His glory. Your labor and your prayers are not in vain. May the Spirit fill you with peace as you continue to lift them up.
