Family

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up your family in earnest prayer. It is only through the precious name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and we are so grateful that you have called upon His name in your request. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and we rejoice that you have acknowledged Him as Lord.

Heavenly Father, we first pray for the salvation of every member of this family. Lord, You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). We ask that You draw each one to Yourself, softening hearts that may be hardened and opening eyes that may be spiritually blind. Let them come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior, surrendering their lives fully to Him. We declare that the Holy Spirit is at work, convicting of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and we pray that each family member would respond in faith, being born again into Your kingdom.

Father, we also lift up healing for this family. Whether it is physical, emotional, or spiritual healing that is needed, we ask that You move mightily. You are the Great Physician, and by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We pray for restoration in every area where there is brokenness, bodies, minds, and spirits. Strengthen them with Your power, Lord, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the mighty name of Jesus, and we declare that this family is covered by the blood of Christ, which cleanses and protects.

Lord, we also pray for Your divine protection over this family. The enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8), but we declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let Your presence be a shield around them. Protect them from physical harm, spiritual attacks, and the snares of the enemy. We pray that they would walk in Your ways, staying close to You and abiding in Your Word, so that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil (Ephesians 6:11).

We also want to encourage this family to remain steadfast in their faith. Life’s trials can often feel overwhelming, but we are reminded that You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that they would find comfort in Your promises and strength in Your presence. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9). Encourage their hearts, Lord, and remind them that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Lastly, we pray that this family would be a light in their community, reflecting the love and truth of Christ. May their lives be a testimony to Your grace and power, drawing others to You. Let them be united in love, bearing with one another and forgiving each other as You have forgiven them (Colossians 3:13). We ask that You bless them abundantly, Lord, and let them experience the fullness of life that is found only in You.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We hear the weight and the hope in your prayer, salvation, healing, protection. Those aren’t small words; they come from a heart that loves your family deeply. Thank you for letting us stand with you before the Lord.

Carrying a whole family’s needs can feel heavy, and it’s easy to wonder if God hears every name and every hidden struggle. He does. And one of the ways He often upholds us is through the steady presence of His people. If you haven’t already, consider bringing these specific burdens to a few trusted friends at church or a small group, letting them pray with you and check in on how things unfold. Knowing others are interceding for you by name, not just generally, but for that one child’s faith or that particular illness, can be a real anchor when your own prayers feel like they’re hitting the ceiling. You don’t have to carry this alone.

We are praying with you now, trusting Jesus to move in ways we cannot engineer.

Lord Jesus, You know each soul in this family by name. We ask for Your saving grace to touch any who are far from You, draw them gently, break through confusion, and open their eyes to Your love. We lift before You every wound, every sickness, every anxious thought that needs Your healing hand. Surround this family with Your protection in the seen and unseen battles; guard their unity and their peace. Give them the daily bread of Your presence and the courage to keep bringing everything to You. In Your mighty name we pray, Amen.

The weight of your request rests upon the very heart of the Gospel. You have prayed for salvation, healing, and protection for yourself and your family in the name of Jesus. That name is the sole foundation upon which these mercies can be sought, for Christ Himself is our salvation. It is not a doctrine, nor a feeling, but a Person, and you look to Him. The Scripture has said it plainly: "Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed." This is no complex riddle for scholars, but a simple command for every soul. Trust your entire self to the Lord Jesus Christ. Leave the whole matter of your salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence. Depend upon Him without fear for your present and eternal safety. This is the faith which saves the soul, and it is as much for your household as for you.

As for healing, remember that the very leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is full of restoring virtue. His touch, His word, His example, His intercession, these are the leaves that change the life-blood of families, affecting spirits and making the nature other than it was before. Are there wounds in your home? Are there old transgressions and bitter habits that need to be purged? Bring them beneath that healing shade. The same grace that delights to save the blackest sinner also delights to mend broken relationships and subdue reigning lusts, for salvation delivers from the power of sin. The healing you seek is bound up in that common salvation which belongs to all believers.

And what of protection? The soul that rests in Christ is secure beyond hazard. It is God’s salvation you plead for, "I will rejoice in thy salvation." It was His in the planning, His in the providing, and it glorifies His justice and His grace. When a man’s life is hid with Christ in God, no foe can pluck him from the Father’s hand. Yet this is not a solitary possession; it often pleases the Lord to use one believing soul as a spiritual decoy to draw the entire family into the gospel net. The Philippian jailer believed and his whole household was baptized, rejoicing because they were a renewed family. Cry out to God that your house might know such unity.

Go now, and make this common salvation known by your earnest pleading. You have brought nothing of your own merit, no price, no good works, and that is exactly as it should be. The free grace of God is proclaimed without money and without cost. Look! Look! Look unto Jesus, all the ends of the earth, and be saved. May your family be a rejoicing family because they are a renewed family, and may you all at last stand, with every stain removed, before the throne of God, healed, safe, and eternally saved.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

To pray for your family’s salvation is a holy desire, yet take heed lest you suppose that the asking alone is sufficient. No one part is enough for our salvation, but there must be first a careful hearing of God’s word, then a continual recollection of it, then fortitude, then contempt of riches and deliverance from all worldly things. The care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and with them come vainglory, pleasure, gluttony, envy, and all the rest. Do not imagine that hearing sermons or offering prayers will save while your soul remains soft, unmanly, and tangled in these thorns.

You cry out for salvation, this is right, for the very force of truth compels even those who once opposed Christ to proclaim that His death was for the salvation of the world. But do not put off accepting this gift to your latest breath, as many do who hear that He takes away the sin of the world yet delay. Now is the acceptable time, now is the day of salvation. The time remaining is short, and it is the only season available. Why do you linger? Here is One who will deliver you without your own labors; is it not extreme folly to postpone?

As for protection and healing, understand this: whether we be afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation, working in the patient enduring of the same sufferings. Being partakers of Christ’s sufferings leads to being partakers of His comfort. Your tribulations, borne with fortitude, are not merely to be escaped but are themselves a means by which salvation is worked out. God does not will to judge the world now but to save it, speaking those things that are for your salvation, not for condemnation. His graciousness and lovingkindness toward your household are boundless.

Yet from where will you have any hope of salvation if, together with your prayers, you add great sins and even pray against your enemies? And mark this well: the difference between true salvation and the world’s notion of being saved is as great as the difference between destruction and salvation itself. What is a man profited if he gain the whole world, seeking only health, safety, and prosperity, and lose his own soul? Let this pierce you. Love your family not merely by asking for their earthly ease, but by drawing them over unto the common salvation, weeping for any who know it not, and ensuring that you yourself do not fail to recognize the things that lead to it.
