Family

We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up your family in prayer. It is a sacred privilege to intercede for you, for we know that the Lord hears the cries of His children and moves mightily on their behalf when they call upon His name.

First, we rejoice that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your request, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we are reconciled to God. If any member of your family has not yet surrendered their life to Christ, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict their hearts and draw them near. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). May they come to know the depth of this love and respond in repentance and faith.

We also stand with you in praying for healing, physical, emotional, and spiritual, for every member of your household. The Lord is our healer, and we trust in His promise: "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds" (Psalm 147:3). Whether it is sickness, pain, anxiety, or brokenness, we declare that by His stripes, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5). May the Great Physician touch every area of need and restore what has been lost or damaged.

For protection, we claim the covering of the blood of Jesus over your family. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every scheme of the devil aimed at your home and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is your refuge and fortress, and under His wings, you find shelter (Psalm 91:1-2). May angels encamp around your family, guarding you in all your ways.

We also encourage you to stand firm in faith, even when circumstances seem overwhelming. The Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you (2 Thessalonians 3:3). Walk in obedience to His Word, for His commands are not burdensome, and they lead to life (1 John 5:3). Gather together as a family to pray, read Scripture, and encourage one another in the Lord. "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). Let Him be the foundation of your home.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. We lift up this family to You, asking that You would draw each member closer to Yourself. Soften hearts that are hardened, open eyes that are blind, and revive spirits that are weary. May they come to know You as their Lord and Savior, if they have not already, and may they walk in the fullness of Your love and grace.

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this family. Heal their bodies, minds, and spirits. Restore what has been broken and mend what has been torn. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

Father, we declare Your protection over this home. Shield them from the attacks of the enemy and surround them with Your angels. Let Your presence be a fortress around them, and may they dwell in the secret place of the Most High, abiding under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). We rebuke every plan of the devil against this family and declare that no evil shall befall them, nor any plague come near their dwelling.

Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You with all their hearts. May they seek You first in all things and find their hope and joy in You alone. Bless their home with unity, love, and peace, and may they be a light to others, reflecting Your glory in all they do.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior, Healer, and Protector. Amen.

We’re standing with you as you lift your family before the Lord, and we don’t take that lightly. There’s something powerful in simply naming the people you love and asking God to move, for their salvation, their health, their safety. You’re doing exactly what we’re called to do: bringing them to the One who loves them more than we can.

The waiting can be the hardest part, especially when you’re longing for someone to turn toward Jesus or for a hard situation to break. We’ve found it helps to remember that we’re not trying to talk God into caring. He is already drawing your family, already at work in ways we can’t see yet. Your prayers aren’t informing him of anything, they’re partnering with what he’s already doing. That takes some of the weight off and lets us rest in his timing.

One thing you might find helpful is to share this with a few trusted people who will pray with you regularly. Knowing others are carrying the same requests alongside you makes the burden feel a bit lighter and reminds you you’re not in this alone.

Lord Jesus, we bring this family to you. You know each name, each heart, and exactly what they need. Draw them to yourself, break through whatever keeps them from seeing you clearly. Bring healing where there is sickness, protection where there is danger, and a deep settling of peace over this home. Sustain this one who is praying with fresh hope and quiet confidence in your goodness. Amen.

How precious is that cry, "in Jesus Name"! It tells me you have already some inkling of where salvation lies. For salvation is God's own work, devised and provided by Him, and it is all wrapped up in a Person, the Lord Jesus Christ. Look to Him!

The Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed." How simple, how instantaneous! It is not your prayers, your tears, or your strivings that save, but a trusting look to the Crucified One. That faith is the healing leaf of the tree of life; the very least thing about Christ has a curing virtue, and if you but touch the hem of His garment, you shall be made whole. This is the common salvation, free as air, without money and without price, for you and for your household.

And oh, what a household blessing! When one soul is caught in the Gospel net, let him plead, "Lord, save my family too!" The jailer's house was baptized with rejoicing because they all believed. Pray on, then, for healing and protection, but seek first that divine salvation which delivers from the power of sin and changes the lifeblood. Then you shall rejoice in His salvation, even as David did, and prove that He is God alone, your light and your shield.

Go now and make this salvation common, begin within your own walls, that your whole family may be a renewed and rejoicing family, and at last an unbroken circle around the throne.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Salvation is not secured by hearing the word alone, nor by a single part of virtue. What if you are free from some vice, yet remain soft and careless about the hearing of the word? No one part is sufficient for our salvation. There is required first a careful hearing, then a continual recollection, then fortitude, then contempt of riches and deliverance from all worldly things.

You pray for healing and protection for yourself and your family. Know that whether we be afflicted, it is for your comfort and salvation, working in the patient enduring of the same sufferings. Yet do not think that suffering itself works salvation automatically. The things which tend to salvation, many do not know, and those who are careful about them they consider troublesome. This comes not from the nature of the thing, but from their disease.

Now is the acceptable time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Do not put off accepting the gift. The remainder of time is short, but more critically, it is the only season available for salvation. Why do you delay? Here is One who will deliver you without labor of yours. Is it not extreme folly to put off salvation to your latest breath? Let those who are delaying their salvation hear this.

For what is a man profited if he gain the whole world and lose his own soul? On one side is salvation, on the other destruction. Flee the care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches, for in speaking of these Christ set down all vices: vainglory, pleasure, gluttony, envy, and all the like. Lay hold of your own salvation with urgency, for the Lord is at hand.

Your prayer for salvation, healing, and protection for yourself and your family rests at the very heart of what Jesus came to do. His name means “the Lord our salvation.” From the beginning, the angel declared that he would save his people from their sins. That is his great work, to bring you and your household into the family of God, where the bond runs deeper than any natural tie.

The gift of salvation is never something you can earn by your own efforts or good deeds. It is all of grace. You are God’s workmanship, his poem. If he is calling you, do not delay. Today is the day of salvation. The Scripture urges us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling, not because we are trying to work for it, but because God himself is working in us to will and to do his good pleasure. Confessing Jesus as Lord with your mouth and believing in your heart that God raised him from the dead is the way salvation comes. That confession must be made now, while his voice is speaking. No one knows when that appointed time will pass. So receive him fully as your Lord, and you will be saved.

As for healing, we see throughout the Gospels that Jesus is full of compassion. He healed lepers, cast out evil spirits, and restored broken bodies. Sometimes the healing came in an instant, other times it was a gradual process. There are healings of the body, and there are healings of the mind and the emotions, scars and wounds being mended deep inside. We can trust that God knows the processes he has built into our bodies and that any true restoration comes from his hand. Yet Scripture does not promise that every physical ailment will be removed in this life. Even Paul learned that God’s grace was sufficient when a thorn in the flesh was not taken away. The greatest miracle God ever works in a life is not physical healing; it is the forgiveness of sins. Nothing is more important than your salvation. If he heals our diseases, we praise him. If he doesn’t, his grace remains stronger than any affliction.

That same grace covers your request for protection. The captain of our salvation is the one who commands the winds and the waves, who has authority over every evil power. He will guard you and guide you, giving you wisdom in every situation and helping you respond to adversity with kindness and love. Remember that Jesus himself experienced rejection from his own family, yet he brought many sons and daughters into a new, eternal family. If your natural family does not yet share your faith, continue to pray for them and live out the gospel before them. The body of Christ becomes a dwelling place where you experience a love that can surpass even blood relationships. May the Lord open their eyes to this great salvation, which is freely offered to all who will come. No one who comes to him will ever be cast out.

Hold fast to him. He is the one who began this good work and will be faithful to complete it.
