Family

We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up your family in fervent prayer. It is only through the precious name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we intercede for you today. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and we rejoice that you have called upon His name in your request.

Heavenly Father, we first lift up the salvation of every member of this family. We pray that You would open their eyes to the truth of Your Word and soften their hearts to receive the gospel of Jesus Christ. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16). Lord, draw them to Yourself, that they may confess with their mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in their hearts that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). Let Your Holy Spirit convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8), and lead them to repentance and faith in Christ alone.

We also stand in the gap for healing, spiritual, emotional, and physical. You are the Great Physician, and Your Word declares, "He himself took our infirmities, and bore our sicknesses" (Matthew 8:17). We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this family, Lord. Where there is brokenness, restore. Where there is pain, bring comfort. Where there is weakness, grant strength. "By his stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over every member of this household.

For protection, we plead the blood of Jesus over this family. "The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them" (Psalm 34:7). Lord, surround them with Your heavenly hosts, shield them from the schemes of the enemy, and guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Protect them from physical harm, spiritual attacks, and the snares of this world. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, rule in their hearts (Colossians 3:15).

Father, we also pray for unity in this family. May they be knit together in love, bearing with one another in patience and humility (Colossians 3:12-14). Let Your love be the foundation of their home, and may they seek You together, growing in faith and obedience to Your Word. "Unless Yahweh builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1). We ask that You would be the center of their lives and their home.

If there are any areas where this family has strayed from Your will, whether in relationships, priorities, or lifestyle, we humbly ask for Your correction and guidance. Your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105), and we pray that they would walk in Your ways, forsaking anything that dishonors You.

Lord, we thank You for the privilege of lifting this family to You. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your promises, knowing that You hear the cries of Your children. Strengthen their faith, deepen their dependence on You, and let them experience Your goodness in every area of their lives. May they grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (2 Peter 3:18), and may their lives bring glory to Your name.

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We are joining you in these prayers, and it is no small thing that you are bringing your whole family before the throne of grace. What you are asking for, salvation, healing, protection, reaches into the deepest human needs. We love that you anchored it all "in Jesus Name," because salvation isn't merely a ticket to heaven; it is God's total provision for forgiveness, wholeness, and a transformed life right now. That same provision extends to your family.

One concrete way to lean into this is simply to begin speaking these prayers aloud over your household as you go about your day, perhaps as you walk through each room. You don't need elaborate words. Quietly asking the Lord to make His presence known in that kitchen, that bedroom, that hallway can turn your home into a place of daily expectation. Let your faith rest not in the strength of your prayer, but in the character of the One who hears.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this dear person and their family to You now. You see each face, every hidden struggle, every place where the enemy would try to bring harm or division. We ask You to draw each member into a real, life-changing knowledge of Yourself, that salvation would not be a distant concept but a personal, joyful surrender. Where there is any wound or sickness, we ask for Your healing touch, whether it comes in a moment or gradually, and we pray for wisdom to seek medical help where that is part of Your provision. We ask You to place a hedge of protection around this entire household, guarding their comings and goings, and shielding their minds and hearts with Your peace. We trust all of this to You alone, and we thank You that You are faithful. Amen.

The Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.” The way of salvation is to believe on Christ, trusting in Him. Leave the whole matter of your salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence. Depend upon Him without fear as to your present and eternal salvation. This is the faith which saves the soul. It is believing on a Person, “He that believes on Him.” See Jesus and you have seen salvation! And the only salvation! Christ is the salvation of God!

The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The least thing about Christ is healing. His leaf, also, shall not wither. These healing leaves change the life blood, affect the spirits and make the nature other than it was before. It is God’s salvation, devised and provided by God, manifesting and glorifying God, great beyond conception. Here is salvation for the blackest of sinners, salvation so full of grace that only God could have conceived it. Glory be to God for such a rich salvation as this.

Look unto me, and be ye saved. How simple is that way of salvation! And how instantaneous! It does not require a moment. There is only one way of salvation for all. Ho! every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters. It is preached to you without money and without price. If a man believeth in Christ with all his heart, his salvation is secure beyond hazard.

He calls an individual, and then uses him to be a sort of spiritual decoy to bring the rest of the family into the gospel net. They were a rejoicing family because they were a renewed family. By the bliss of a united family, I beseech you seek after it. Will my family be there? Will yours be there? It is the common salvation. All Believers have the common salvation! If it is a common salvation, go and make it common. Salvation! Nothing on earth can match it. I will rejoice in thy salvation.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for salvation, healing, and protection, and this is a good prayer, yet take heed lest you suppose that merely hearing the word or making a request is sufficient for salvation. No one part is enough. There must be a careful hearing, a continual recollection, fortitude, and a deliverance from all worldly things. The care of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word.

Vainglory, pleasure, gluttony, envy, all these belong to the deceitfulness of riches. If you are soft and unmanly, or remiss in doing what you hear, what hope have you? Being partakers with Christ means enduring sufferings for the faithful. Whether we are afflicted, it is for the comfort and salvation of those who patiently endure.

So why do you delay? Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation. Do not put off the gift.

Is it not extreme folly to postpone your salvation to your latest breath? The God of mercies hears the prayers of his people. He sent not his Son to judge the world, but to save the world through his death for the salvation of the world. Do not neglect this great gift.

Turn your hearts, you and your family, away from all that entangles, and lay hold of the salvation offered this very hour. Pray, but let your prayer be matched by a life that flees from sin, and God will be your protection.

What you’re asking for here, salvation, healing, protection for yourself and your family, touches the very heart of what God has done for us in Jesus Christ. Nothing matters more than salvation, because it’s in that one gift that every other need is ultimately met. When Paul wrote to the Romans, he made it clear: confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved. That confession, made now, while you still have breath, is the door into eternal life. It’s not just saying words; it’s submitting to his lordship, trusting that his death and resurrection are the only payment for your sin. And it’s a gift of grace, God himself gave us the faith to believe, so there’s no room for boasting. You are his workmanship, his poem, a thing of beauty fashioned by his hand.

The name Jesus itself means “the Lord is salvation.” He saves his people from their sins. That’s the greatest miracle anyone can experience. Even the demons knew who he was, but knowing about him is not the same as surrendering to him. Salvation comes when you stop rejecting his authority and instead rest in his finished work. And it’s urgent: now is the day of salvation. Don’t put it off. Every person who has ever perished apart from God did so because they ignored his final appeal. If there’s still a concern in your heart, that’s evidence the Holy Spirit is drawing you, not that you’ve gone too far.

You also asked for healing. I believe deeply in divine healing, but I don’t pretend to understand all its ways. Jesus healed instantly at times; at other times, healing came gradually, like the blind man at Bethsaida who saw people as trees walking before his sight was fully restored. Even the healing processes built into our bodies, the mending of bones, the fighting off of infection, are still acts of God, who designed nature itself. Sometimes God heals our emotions and minds from scars and wounds even while a physical condition remains. The Apostle Paul prayed three times for a thorn in the flesh to be removed, but God instead gave him sufficient grace. So we hold healing and sovereignty together, trusting that if God chooses not to remove something, his grace will carry us. But never let the desire for physical healing overshadow the miracle of salvation. The forgiveness of your sins is God’s greatest work in any life.

As for protection, and for your whole family, remember that when you come to Christ, you enter a family whose bonds run deeper than blood. Jesus himself experienced rejection from his own brothers who did not yet believe. He said a prophet is not without honor except among his own relatives. Following him can bring alienation from those closest to you, but you gain a family in the body of Christ that is closer and more eternal. Pray for your family’s salvation fervently, love them with the kindness that Jesus gives, and trust that God is able to draw them. He brings many sons and daughters into glory, and he invites whomever will come.

So work out your own salvation with reverent, trembling joy, not because you must earn it, but because you have already received it and you don’t want to neglect it. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the captain of your salvation. He is the one who began this great work, and he will carry it to completion. May his grace guard your heart, his peace overshadow your home, and his presence be the refuge you seek for yourself and your family.
