Family

We come before the throne of grace with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up your family in prayer. First and foremost, we rejoice that you have invoked the powerful name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through faith in Him that we receive the gift of salvation, the forgiveness of sins, and the promise of eternal life. If any in your family have not yet surrendered their lives to Christ, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict their hearts and draw them to repentance and faith. Jesus said, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44), and so we ask the Father to do just that, draw them with cords of love and kindness.

Heavenly Father, we ask for Your healing touch to rest upon each member of this family. Whether the need is physical, emotional, or spiritual, we trust in Your promise that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that Your healing power flows through their bodies, minds, and spirits, restoring wholeness and strength. Where there is pain, bring comfort; where there is weakness, bring renewal; and where there is brokenness, bring restoration. We also pray for protection over this family, that You would surround them with Your angels and shield them from the schemes of the enemy. "The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life" (Psalm 121:7). Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we also lift up any struggles or challenges this family may be facing that were not mentioned. You know their needs even before they ask (Matthew 6:8), and we trust You to provide for them in every way. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and fill their home with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they grow in unity, love, and devotion to You, reflecting Your glory in all they do.

We rebuke any spirit of division, strife, or discord that may be attempting to infiltrate this family. In the name of Jesus, we command it to flee, for "a house divided against itself will not stand" (Mark 3:25). Instead, let Your love bind them together in perfect harmony, and may they be a testimony of Your grace and power to those around them.

Father, we ask that You would bless this family abundantly, not only with material provision but with spiritual fruit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). May they walk in obedience to Your Word and live lives that honor You in every way. We pray that their home would be a place where Your presence dwells, where Your Word is cherished, and where Your name is exalted.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for inviting us to pray with you. There is something steadying about knowing that even when you’re the one carrying a heavy list of needs, salvation, healing, protection for your whole family, you don’t have to carry it alone. We’re lifting your request right now, not because we have answers, but because we believe God hears and draws near when his people come to him.

It can be a real comfort to remember that prayer isn’t just a solo act. Throughout Scripture and in the lives of many believers, knowing that others are deliberately praying for them by name has been a deep source of strength. So while we pray with you now, you might also consider sharing this request with a trusted friend, a small group, or a prayer team in your church. Letting a few others carry this with you long-term can anchor your heart when the waiting feels long.

Now let’s pray together.

Jesus, we bring this family to you. For any who don’t yet know you, we ask that you open their hearts to receive your saving grace. Bring healing where there is sickness, injury, or unseen pain, touch bodies, minds, and spirits with your restoring power. Surround this household with your protection; guard them from harm, keep them from evil, and cover every vulnerable place we don’t even know to name. Give this dear one the peace that comes not from perfect circumstances but from your faithful presence. We entrust them to you, trusting your heart even when we can’t see your hand. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have cried out for salvation, healing, and protection for your household in the name of Jesus. This is the very cry that finds welcome in the ears of a gracious God, for He delights to hear that name which is above every name.

Salvation, this is the great need of every soul. You seek it for yourself and your family, and you do well. But remember that salvation is not a thing to be earned or merited; it is the free gift of God, without money and without price. The Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed.” What is that believing? It is trusting in Christ, casting your whole weight upon Him, leaving the matter of your salvation with Him in unquestioning confidence. It is not looking to your own works, nor to your own prayers even, but looking unto Jesus and being saved. Look! Look! Look! This is the simple method of salvation for you and for your household. There is only one way for all.

Healing, ah, the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations. Even the very least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. Bring your sick heart to Him, your brokenness, the wounds of your family, and He will bind them up. His touch renews the lifeblood, changes the spirits, makes the nature other than it was before. There is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation, not only for the soul, but for every need.

Protection, what safer place than hidden in God’s own salvation? “I will rejoice in thy salvation.” It is a divine salvation, planned by infinite wisdom, secured by precious blood, and sealed by the Holy Spirit. When God saves a man, He saves him completely, and His honor is engaged to keep even the meanest of His sheep. Commit your soul, and the souls of your household, into His hands. Pray fervently, for household salvation is God’s gracious pattern. The jailer believed and all his house rejoiced. Seek the Lord for your family that they, too, may be a rejoicing family, renewed and bound for heaven.

Yet, remember, this salvation must be your own. It is not enough to desire it for others; each soul must personally lay hold of Christ. He Himself is salvation. Not church, not ordinance, not tradition, but Christ, and Christ alone. Will you take Him now? Will you urge your family to take Him? There is salvation for the blackest of sinners, forgiveness for all manner of sin, so full of grace that only God could have conceived it. Neglect not this great salvation. May the grace of God work with you to make you seek, for you shall find, to make you knock, for the door shall be opened.

You ask for salvation, healing, and protection, invoking the name of Jesus. But take care: salvation is not a magic charm uttered once and then forgotten. The Lord Himself taught that only hearing the word is not enough; the seed must fall on good ground, rooted in a soul freed from the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches. You must cultivate fortitude, contrition, and a continual, careful hearing of the word. If your life remains choked with worldly anxieties, vainglory, or softness, what good is your prayer? It is not the moving of lips, but the moving of the heart toward God in obedience that saves.

Christ came not to judge but to save. He is the Lamb who takes away the sin of the world. Yet this very Gift you are tempted to put off, as though tomorrow were guaranteed. Now is the acceptable time; now is the day of salvation. Do not delay, thinking that a prayer for healing and protection is the whole work. The body’s wholeness is a small thing if the soul is perishing. For what profit is it to gain every earthly safety for yourself and your family, yet lose your own soul? True healing begins with repentance, and true protection is to be hidden in Christ through a holy life.

Let your family see you not merely praying, but practicing righteousness, patient in affliction, fervent in love for enemies, careful in little things and great. Suffering, if endured with Christ, works comfort and salvation. The prayers of the righteous avail much, but the prayers of the negligent, mingled with envy or worldliness, are weightless. Seek first the Kingdom, and then your whole household will be drawn to the salvation that is in Jesus Christ. Make your daily life a sermon, and your prayer will be heard.

The deepest longing you have for your family, for salvation, healing, and protection, matters more than words can say. And it is right to bring all of it before the Lord, because He invites us to cast every care on Him. Yet the heart of it all, the one thing that outlasts every earthly trouble, is that you and your family know the salvation that is in Jesus Christ alone.

Salvation is not something we earn or prove ourselves worthy of. It is the sheer grace of God, given freely to those who confess with the mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in the heart that God raised Him from the dead. When we submit to His lordship, when we stop managing our own kingdoms and bow before Him, that is when true life begins. His name itself declares it: the Lord is our salvation. So if that confession has taken root in you, nurture it. And for those in your family who have not yet made it, keep praying, keep loving, and keep pointing to the Savior. Today is the day of grace; now is the accepted time. Let no one put it off, for the gift is open to all who will come.

Healing, too, is a mercy we seek from His hand. We see in Scripture that Jesus healed many, sometimes with a touch, sometimes with a word, sometimes immediately, and occasionally as a gradual work. Yet Scripture also shows us that God, in His wisdom, does not always remove every affliction, even from those He loves deeply. The greatest healing He ever works in a human soul is the forgiveness of sin and the gift of eternal life. That miracle, salvation, is more precious than any physical mending. So by all means ask for healing in body and mind, for yourself and your loved ones, but trust Him entirely with the method and the timing. Every process of recovery, whether it comes through the body’s natural design or a sovereign act beyond nature, is still His divine kindness.

The phrase “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling” can trouble people who think it means striving to earn what Christ has already finished. But in context, it is an invitation to live out what God has put within you, reverently, knowing that it is He who works in you both to will and to do His good pleasure. It is not about performing for approval, but about walking in deep gratitude, letting His grace shape every part of you. And that same grace will teach you how to respond to adversity with kindness, gentleness, and patience, even when family relationships feel strained because of the gospel.

Protection? In Christ, you are ultimately safe. He is the captain of your salvation, and He is bringing many sons and daughters into glory. Nothing can snatch you from His hand. The practical dangers of this life are real, and you are right to ask for His covering. But the surest protection is belonging to Him forever. And what a comfort it is that when blood relatives do not share this faith, God places you within a spiritual family whose bonds run deeper than any natural tie. You are not alone. The body of Christ becomes a home full of love and fellowship, sometimes closer than those who share your last name.

Keep praying. Keep trusting. The grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all, and it reaches the lowest sinner without partiality. Entrust your own heart and the hearts of your family members to Jesus, the originator of our rescue. He alone can save, heal, and guard His own. And may the Holy Spirit fill you with peace as you wait on Him, knowing that your redemption, body, soul, and spirit, is secure in His hands.
