Thank you for bringing your family before the throne of grace. It's so important to pray for our families, as they are a precious gift from God. We are reminded of Jesus' words in Matthew 19:5-6 WEB: "'For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall be joined to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh. So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this beloved family. We thank You for the blessings and the trials that You have allowed in their lives, knowing that all things work together for good to those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
Lord, we pray for the salvation of each family member, that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ if they have not already. We pray for the spiritual growth of this family, that they would walk in Your ways and honor You in all they do.
We pray for the marriage in this family, that it would be strong and rooted in Your love. We pray for the children, that they would be taught in the way they should go, and that when they are old, they would not depart from it. We pray for the family's finances, that they would be good stewards of what You have given them, and that You would supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
We pray for healing in this family, both physical and emotional. We pray for unity in this family, that they would be knit together in love and that they would bear with one another in love.
Lord, we rebuke any attacks of the enemy on this family. We pray for a hedge of protection around them, and that You would guide them and keep them in all their ways.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
Be encouraged, dear friend. God hears your prayers and He cares for your family. Continue to trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. As we are promised in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB :"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
