We understand that you are going through a challenging time with a family member who is struggling with addictions and causing strife within the family. First, we want to commend you for your efforts to help and for bringing this situation to God in prayer. It is only in Jesus that we find true hope and healing.
Let's bring this before the Lord together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up this family that is in desperate need of Your intervention. Lord, You see the pain, the worry, the stress, and the burden they are carrying. You see the efforts they have made to help their loved one, and You know that they have reached the end of their human capabilities which brought them to you.
Father, we pray for this family member. We pray that You would soften his heart and open his eyes to see the love, understanding, and support that is being offered to him. We pray that You would deliver him from the bondage of his addictions and bring him to a place of repentance and restoration. Help him to see that true healing and freedom come from You alone.
We also pray for the family. We ask that You would grant them peace, strength, and wisdom as they navigate this difficult situation. Help them to set boundaries that are both loving and protective, and give them the courage to stand firm in those boundaries. We ask for your power to do what they cannot. We are not strong enough to break the chains off him and we are unable to force him to come to you but that you will overcome his vices and draw him to you.
Father, we know that Your heart is for reconciliation and redemption. We pray that You would work in this situation to bring about good, to restore relationships, and to draw each member of this family closer to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing, deliverance, and restoration. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful and He cares for you and your family. Stand firm in your faith and continue to pray for your loved one. It is important to set boundaries to protect your family from abuse and harm, while also trusting God to work in your loved one's life.

Galatians 6:9 - Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we do not give up.
Isaiah 40:31 - But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not be faint.
