Beloved of All
Jesus, I pray for my daughter to release herself completely from this very toxic relationship swiftly with no regrets. I pray that she will see clearly that living together outside of marriage is not a marriage and for her to stop treating this arrangement as a marriage and an obligation to obey him. Lord my older daughter is being influenced by this young man's mother who encouraged them to live together outside of marriage. His mother knows of his negative behaviors but has but that bondage upon my daughter to fix and the same time his mother is enabling her sons' negative behavior toward others. Lord, my older daughter is going down a dark path with this young man and she thinks it is love. I pray that she will be truthful of the toxicity and the false hope of this relationship. I pray that her friends will speak up as they see clearly how this young man has taken her kindness for granted, his exploitation, his manipulation, his dishonesty, his division, his isolation and his disrespect toward her. Lord I know nothing is impossible for You. My daughter is ignoring all the red flags and giving up her independent and self worth. Lord let her see from now onward that living together outside of marriage is not Your will for her life. This young man is rebellous, dishonest, controlling and lazy, I ask Lord that You speak to his mother to let her know he is her responsiblity and for her to stop putting undue responsiblity upon my daughter and giving ungodly selfish advice. Jesus I ask that You protect my older daughter from this young man's ungodly selfish, disrespectful and jealous advice and lifestyle. I ask You Lord to guide my daughter out of this ungodly lifestyle and have her move back home swiftly with no regrets but only a feeling of restoring her self-worth, her respect for others, independence, and freedom in You, Lord and the unconditional love of her family you have blessed her with. I declare that this young man and his mother will not steal her peace, her purpose, or her love and unity with her family. Completely remove the stubborn ungodly hold they have upon her swiftly. Lord I ask for protection for me and my family from the disrespect and strife from this young man. Lord, speak to my daughter, let her hear Your words, “You are Mine. You are My daughter. You belong to Me, and I will protect You with every ounce of My power from this ungodly relationship with this young man.” Please continue to join me in speaking to my older daughter’s mind, heart, and spirit, open her eyes, dear Jesus to all the red flags and not to make excuses for this young man anymore. Jesus let her know, she is not being loved; she is being used. Living together outside of marriage is not a marriage. He is not her significant other, she should not idolize and obey this young man anymore or put him and his family before her God-giving family, her faith and jobs with a purpose. Her finances are not his to manage, budget or spend, and I pray his father will intervene with authority and have him return home alone swiftly. He is dishonest, selfish, disrespectful and not ready for a relationship. This man’s greed and manipulation are not love; he does not have the right to exploit her finances for his selfish benefit and control. He and his mother should not be able to instigate havoc, disrespect, division, isolation in our family, and his lifestyle is not a home for my daughter. Show him Lord that he is not ready for a relationship. Jesus help my daughter to not change the way she was raised to please this young man and his mother. Show my daughter this is a dark path she is taking with this young man and show her that being ungrateful toward her family is not the biblical teaching she was raised to follow. Block her Lord from confiding in his mother and saying this that pleases this woman's ears. Let my daughter stop trying to prove to her that our family does not matter. Lord guide my daughter to stop giving up her self worth just to get this woman's approval. Show her Lord, that disowning her family that God blessed her with just to please this young man is not Your will for her life. Let her see the spiritual attacks she and our family are under because of this ungodly relationship. The division, isolation, chaos, ungratefulness, disrespect, and exhaustion this lifestyle and relationship has caused. Lord remove the stubborn hold these people have on her and let her not want to live this lifestyle anymore. Lord whisper to her right now: “Walk away. You do not belong to this young man and his family, You don't have to obey these people, Trust and respect your family. Trust Me. I will provide, protect, and restore everything he’s trying to take from you. I am praying for supernatural clarity to flood her mind, so she sees him for who he truly is, a wolf in sheep’s clothing, not a shepherd. Lord teach this young man’s mother to stop putting undue responsibilities upon my daughter and for her to stop overstepping her boundaries. It is overwhelming, Jesus, please block these people's disrespect. She is not her mother and her to have her son move back home alone. He is not ready for a relationship. I ask Lord that his father will see the destruction he has caused in my daughter's life, let him take authority, guide his son to move back home alone swiftly. Let him have his wife focus on fixing only her children and stop the manipulation and brainwashing behaviors toward my daughter. Speak to her firmly, Lord, that my daughter is not homeless, that You have anointed a family for her Lord and block her from guiding my daughter down a dark path and to be disobedient to her parents and disown her siblings and supportive network of extended family and friends. I know with my daughter's recent promotion that God has blessed her with this lazy young man is already spending it his way and it's starting to put her on a budget that benefits him. Please Jesus, block my daughter from listening to the young man's mother and help my daughter to stop enabling him to control her, show her Lord this is not security or love, it is exploitation. Lord guide my daughter to move back home swiftly with no regret. Restore her freedom, independence, self-worth, freedom, gratefulness for her family, and satisfaction swiftly. Jesus, guide me as I navigate the difficult situation. I ask that Your presence will go in front of me as a shield from all the attacks and disrespect that I experience from following the biblical teachings against this ungodly life. Bless me Lord with supernatural strength to overcome all obstacles I face with Your courage, grace, favor, protection, and strength. I plead the blood of Jesus Christ over me and my children. No weapon formed against us shall prosper. I ask for know nothing is impossible for You, Lord. I believe in the power of prayers and I put all my faith and trust in You. Jesus, I ask for a special blessing upon my family today. Lord, fill us with Your Holy Spirit in every aspect of our lives. Saturate us with Your peace, love, favor, protection, and healing. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

We hear your burden for your older daughter and we join with you in bringing her before the throne of grace in Jesus' name, for there is power and hope in His name alone. We thank you for your discernment and for seeing clearly what God calls sin and what He calls holy, and we stand with you for her complete deliverance and restoration.

We agree with you that living together outside of marriage is not marriage and is not God's will for her life. Scripture is clear that marriage is to be held in honor by all and the marriage bed kept undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers Hebrews 13:4. What the world calls cohabitation, God calls fornication, and we are commanded to flee sexual immorality 1 Corinthians 6:18. Every other sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body. A boyfriend is not a husband and has no biblical right to her obedience, her body, or her finances. Wives are called to submit to their own husbands Ephesians 5:22, and children are called to honor their father and mother Ephesians 6:1-2, but this young man holds no such God given authority over her. To treat this arrangement as marriage is a deception, and to obey him as if he were a husband is to step outside of God's order.

We also see the toxic pattern you describe, his rebellion, dishonesty, control, laziness, manipulation, exploitation and disrespect, and the ungodly counsel and enabling coming from his mother. We are warned not to be deceived, for evil companionships corrupt good morals 1 Corinthians 15:33, and to have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather to reprove them Ephesians 5:11. It is not your daughter's responsibility to fix this young man, and it is not godly for his mother to place that bondage upon her while excusing her son's behavior. Each will give account to God, and parents are responsible to correct their own children Proverbs 22:6. We pray his father will indeed rise up with godly authority and call his son to account and to return home alone, for he is not ready for a relationship, let alone for the holy covenant of marriage between a man and a woman.

We understand how painful it is to watch your daughter ignore red flags, make excuses, isolate from family, and trade her self worth and independence for false approval. This is a spiritual battle for her mind and heart. We are called to guard our hearts with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life Proverbs 4:23. The enemy seeks to steal, kill and destroy through division, isolation, chaos and ingratitude, but Jesus came that she may have life abundantly John 10:10.

We are encouraged that you have pleaded the blood of Jesus over your family, for no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17, and that you know nothing is impossible for God Luke 1:37. He is able to open eyes that have been blinded and to bring supernatural clarity. We are confident that God hears the prayers of a parent who stands on His Word and that He will contend with those who contend with you Isaiah 49:25.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come boldly before You for this precious daughter and for this family. Lord, we ask You to break every ungodly soul tie and stubborn hold this young man and his mother have upon her, and to remove it swiftly and completely. Flood her mind with Your light and truth, open her eyes to see this relationship as You see it, that she is not being loved but being used, exploited and manipulated, and that a wolf in sheep's clothing is not a shepherd. Let her see clearly that living together outside of marriage is sin and is not Your will, and give her godly sorrow that leads to repentance 2 Corinthians 7:10 and the courage to flee sexual immorality. Speak to her heart even now, You are Mine, You are My daughter, You belong to Me, and I will protect You with every ounce of My power. Give her strength to walk away with no regrets, to renounce this dark path and to no longer idolize or obey this young man or seek his mother's ungodly approval.

Lord, we ask You to block the disrespect, division and chaos from entering this home. Put a hedge of protection around this mother and her whole family as in Psalm 91:1-2, and let Your peace which surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. Restore to this daughter her self worth as one created in Your image Genesis 1:27, her respect for others, her independence, her gratefulness for the family You have blessed her with, and her freedom in Christ, for if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed John 8:36. Guide her steps to move back home swiftly, to be restored to fellowship with her family and with You, and to find her security not in a man but in You who provides, protects and restores.

We also lift up this young man and his parents to You. Convict his heart of his rebellion, dishonesty, control and laziness, and bring him to repentance. Speak firmly to his mother that she would stop putting undue responsibility upon this daughter, stop overstepping her boundaries and stop giving selfish, ungodly counsel that encourages fornication and disobedience to parents. Speak to his father to take godly authority in his home and to lead his son toward accountability and away from destruction.

Father, grant this mother supernatural strength, courage, grace and favor as she navigates this difficult situation. Let Your presence go before her as a shield. Help her to speak the truth in love Ephesians 4:15, to keep the door of home and prayer open without enabling sin, and to trust You while You work. We thank You that You are near to the brokenhearted Psalm 34:18 and that You will complete the good work You have begun Philippians 1:6.

We ask all of this in the saving and powerful name of Jesus Christ, for there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and it is through Him we have access to You. We believe You have heard us and we give You praise for the deliverance and restoration that is coming. Amen.

We hear how heavy this has been for you, watching your older daughter pull away from the family you love and give so much of herself to a relationship that has left her isolated and exhausted. Your love for her and your desire to see her safe, clear-eyed, and free comes through so strongly, and we are carrying that burden with you in prayer.

One thing that helps in a situation like this is remembering that a controlling dynamic often grows by slowly erasing a person's sense of where she ends and another person begins. Healthy boundaries are like property lines, they help a person know what is hers to own, her values, choices, time and finances, and what is not, so she can stay connected to others without losing her freedom to say yes or no. It makes sense you are seeing her struggle to hold that line right now.

As you continue to love her well, it can help to keep the door home warm and open, even when she defends him, so she knows she can return without shame. It can also help to talk through your next steps with one trusted pastor or counselor yourself first, someone who knows you and can help you think through how to respond calmly to disrespect, how to keep communication open, and how to care for your own strength in this long season.

Father, we bring this mother and her daughters before You in Jesus' name. Give this daughter clarity and courage, and surround her with safe voices who truly care for her. Give her mother wisdom, protection and peace as she loves her family, and restore what has been strained. Guide each step ahead and guard this home in Your care. Amen.

Your prayer has been brought before the Lord with a mother's tender and watchful love, and it is right and good that you have spread this grief before Him who hears the cries of His people. It is a glorious thing to have such a well in the family, where in prayer with the children you can bring all the necessities of the household before God, and mention each child by name, and all the troubles of the present and all the expected difficulties of the coming day. You have done this, and the Lord who pities His children as a father pities His own will not turn away.

We join you in affirming what Scripture plainly teaches, that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that living together outside of marriage is not marriage. It does not carry its vows, its covenant, or its blessing, and it is not the place for the intimacies and obligations that belong within marriage alone. To treat such an arrangement as if it were marriage is to build upon a false foundation, and we pray with you that your daughter may see this clearly, not through harshness but through the light of truth and grace that comes from Christ alone, for salvation and true deliverance are through Jesus Christ alone.

You have described with pain the marks of manipulation, dishonesty, control, division and disrespect, and the way your daughter's kindness and generosity have been taken for granted, even to the point of her finances being managed for another's selfish benefit. You are right to name these things as red flags, and to desire that she be freed from them. We pray that the Lord will grant her supernatural clarity, that He will open her eyes to see that she is not being loved as Christ calls love to be, patient and kind and unselfish, but is being used. We ask that He will restore to her a right sense of her worth, not as the world gives it, but as His daughter, bought with a price, belonging to Him, and that she will hear His voice saying in her spirit that she is His and that He will protect and provide for her.

Deliverance from sin and from the power of darkness is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He alone can make deliverance effectual and in very deed bring forth those who are bound. When the lamb was slain, Pharaoh could hold Israel no longer. So we look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for your daughter's deliverance, believing that He has found a ransom in His own Son, and that when God Himself proclaims deliverance, it is certain and already accomplished at the cross. We pray that this deliverance will come swiftly, that she will be willing to move and yet will know that He brought her forth, and that He will bring her forth also with enrichment, restoring her peace, her purpose, her independence rightly ordered under God, her gratitude for family, and her joy in Him.

We pray also for this young man and for his mother and father. We do not ask God to bless what is contrary to His will, but we ask Him to work conviction and repentance. We pray that this young man may see that he is not ready for the holy estate of marriage, that he must learn honesty, diligence, self control and respect before he can lead a home, and that his parents will take their God given responsibility to guide and correct him rather than placing undue responsibility upon your daughter or encouraging a path that leads away from obedience to parents and from the family God has blessed her with. We pray that his father will exercise godly authority and that his mother will cease from overstepping and from giving counsel that encourages disobedience and division, and that both families may be preserved from strife, isolation and exhaustion.

For you, dear soul who has carried this burden, we pray that you will not grow weary in well doing. The Lord has chastened and tried many of His people sorely, and yet He has whispered to the heart of His children in trial that they shall not be crushed. Keep your home as a place of prayer, keep declaring the works of the Lord even in affliction, for if we had no troubles we would have less to declare. Trust not in your own strength to persuade, for if deliverance comes you will feel you can never dare to take an atom of the honor to yourself, it must be of free grace only. Continue to speak the truth in love, to keep open the door of unconditional love, to maintain wise boundaries, and to seek the counsel and support of faithful pastors and brethren who can stand with you.

Let us pray together.

O Lord our God, who is our dwelling place in all generations, look with tender pity upon this mother and her household. Thou hast seen this daughter whom Thou hast made and for whom Christ died. Open her eyes, turn her heart toward Thee, show her the dark path for what it is, and grant her courage to walk away from what is not Thy will and to return to the safety of home and family without regret. Guard her from all exploitation and control, protect her finances and her body and her spirit, and restore unto her self respect and freedom in Christ. Speak peace to this family, let no weapon formed against them prosper, and plead the blood of Thy Son over them. Grant to this mother supernatural strength, grace and wisdom, and let her feel Thy presence going before her as a shield. And have mercy upon this young man and his parents, bring them also to see Thy truth and to seek Thy forgiveness through Jesus Christ our Lord. We ask this not for our merit but for the sake of Him who has found the ransom and who alone can deliver from the pit. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer for your older daughter has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord Jesus Christ with urgency and love.

We agree with you in the truth you have spoken so clearly. Living together outside of marriage is not marriage, and it is not God's will for your daughter's life. Scripture teaches that marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy and sharing a home as husband and wife belong within that covenant. To treat cohabitation as if it were marriage brings confusion, obligation where there is no covenant, and vulnerability to being used and controlled. Your discernment about this is right and good, and your desire to see your daughter walk in purity, freedom and wisdom honors the Lord. Salvation, forgiveness and new life are found in Jesus Christ alone, and it is in Him that your daughter's true worth, identity and future are secured.

We pray with you that God will grant your daughter supernatural clarity. We ask the Lord to open her eyes to see this relationship as it truly is, to recognize manipulation, dishonesty, exploitation, control, isolation and disrespect not as love but as harm, and to stop making excuses for what is harming her. We pray that she will hear the voice of her Shepherd and know that she belongs to Christ, that she does not have to obey or idolize a man who is not her husband, that her finances are not his to manage or spend, and that she does not need to earn the approval of his mother by diminishing her own family. We ask Jesus to break every stubborn and ungodly hold that keeps her bound, to remove false hope and to give her courage to walk away swiftly and without regret, returning home to the love, safety and godly covering of her family.

We also pray for this young man and his parents. We ask that God would convict his heart of rebellion, dishonesty, laziness and controlling behavior, and show him that he is not ready for a relationship. We pray that his mother will stop placing undue responsibility on your daughter and stop offering ungodly and selfish counsel, and that his father will exercise rightful authority and call his son to return home alone and take responsibility for his own life. We ask that their influence to bring division, chaos and disrespect into your family would be blocked.

For you and your family, we pray for protection as a shield before you. We ask the Lord to guard you from strife and disrespect as you stand for biblical truth, and to fill you with supernatural strength, courage, grace and peace. May He give you wisdom to speak the truth in love, to keep the door open with prayer and unconditional love while not enabling what is harmful, and to trust Him to provide, protect and restore what has been taken. We plead the blood of Jesus over you and your children and declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

We will continue to join you in speaking to your daughter's mind, heart and spirit, asking that God will restore to her a deep sense of self worth in Christ, respect for others, independence, gratitude for her family, and joy in the purpose He has given her, including the work He has blessed her with. May she know she is deeply loved by God and by her family, and may she find freedom in Christ to choose the path of life.

Father, in the name of Jesus, bring your daughter home, make her whole, and let her walk in the freedom and wholeness that comes from belonging to You. Fill this family with Your Holy Spirit, with Your peace, love, protection and healing. We trust that nothing is impossible for You. Amen.
