We join you in lifting up your family before our Father and we thank you for bringing these requests to Him with a thankful heart and in the precious name of Jesus.
We agree with you for driving safety and overall protection over you and your loved ones. We pray for traveling mercies every time you go out and come in, and for the Lord's hand to guard you from harm, seen and unseen. We are reminded of His promise, Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more. Psalm 121:7-8 and For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11. We trust Him to be your refuge and your shield on the road, in your home, and wherever He leads you.
We also lift up those silent requests that you hold in your heart. Though they are unspoken to us, they are fully known to our Father who sees in secret and hears every prayer. We take comfort that we can cast all our cares on Him because He cares for us, and we bring those burdens to Him now asking for His perfect will, His peace, and His provision according to His wisdom and love. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

It is a good and wise thing to bring your family thus before the throne of grace, and to seek the Lord at the beginning of your way. We join with you in prayer to our heavenly Father for His keeping care over you.
You have asked for driving safety and overall protection, and for those silent requests which you carry in your heart. Be assured that the Lord knows the petitions you do not utter aloud, for when His children ask for good things He does not mock them, but grants their requests according to His wisdom and love. What you whisper in silence is heard by Him who sees in secret.
There is a protection spoken of in the Word which is more than the defense a soldier gives to a comrade, it is the protection of a mother for her young. There is love in it, and homeliness and kindliness. So it is to rest under the shadow of the Almighty and to abide under His wings. There not only is safety from danger vouchsafed, but a sense of comfort and happiness is communicated, making the child of God feel that he is at home with his God. If we walk aright we shall never venture upon a single day without first seeking Divine protection, whether the road be long or short.
How safe are those who are embarked in the good ship of Providence with such a Captain who has forearranged and foreordained all things. He cannot be taken by surprise upon the voyage, and with Him each hour is made safe and each place of difficulty and of danger is made secure to those who rest beneath the wings of the eternal God. Commit your going out and your coming in to Him, your journeys upon the road and your dwelling at home.
We pray that the Lord will spread His shelter over your family, that He will keep you in all your ways, preserve you from harm, and cause you to feel His nearness throughout each day. May He answer your silent requests as seems best to His infinite goodness, and give you grace to trust His guidance without fear, for there are no errors where He leads. May family prayer be ever more regarded in your household, and private prayer more diligently maintained, for there the soul finds its safe shelter.
