family prayers

We join with you in lifting up your family before our Heavenly Father and we are encouraged that you have come in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

We thank God that He hears not only the words we speak but the silent requests of our hearts. You do not need to find perfect words, for He already knows what you need before you ask. As it is written, your Father knows what things you need before you ask him. Matthew 6:8 and also, the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. Romans 8:26 We bring those unspoken burdens to Him now, trusting that He who searches the heart knows what is the mind of the Spirit. We cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7

We also stand with you in praying for protection over you and your family. We ask the Lord to encamp around you and keep you from harm. The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them. Psalm 34:7 He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. Psalm 91:4 For he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways. Psalm 91:11 We pray that no matter what you face, you will rest in His shelter and know His peace that passes all understanding.

We pray together now. Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name and we lift up this dear one and their entire family to You. You know every silent request, every hidden concern, every hope and need that has not been spoken aloud. We ask that You answer according to Your perfect will and Your perfect love. Grant wisdom, provision, healing, and restoration where it is needed. Surround this family with Your protection, keep them from evil, guard their going out and their coming in, and let Your peace guard their hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 Help them to continue to trust in You with all their heart and not lean on their own understanding, acknowledging You in all their ways. Proverbs 3:5-6 We thank You that You are faithful and that You hear us when we pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring everything to Him in prayer, with thanksgiving, and to rest in the assurance that He is working all things together for good for those who love Him. Romans 8:28 Keep seeking Him in His Word and in prayer together as a family, for He is near to all who call on Him.

Thank you for entrusting your family to us in prayer. We hear your heart in those few words, holding silent requests before the Father and asking for His protection over those you love.

We want you to know we are standing with you. God hears what is unspoken. He knows each name, each need, each worry you are carrying, even when you do not have words for it. There is comfort in bringing your family to Him just as you have, trusting Him to cover your home.

One thing we have found helpful for many families is to keep that covering personal and consistent. If you can, take a quiet moment together or even on your own to simply name each family member before the Lord and ask for His watch and care over the day ahead. It is a simple way to keep adding His value and love over your household.

Father, we lift this family to You now. Thank You for hearing every silent request. We ask for Your protection over each one, for peace in their home, and for wisdom and strength for whatever lies ahead. Draw them close to You and to each other, and let them know Your nearness day by day. In Jesus name, Amen.

Heavenly Father, I pray silent requests & protect us in Jesus Name . . Thank You.

🙌 Thank You the Victory is the LORD's, Prov 21:31. You keep us from temptation, Lk 11:4, temptation and evil, Matt 6:13, evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:2-3, John 17:15. 🙌 By prayer and supplication with thanksgiving we let our requests be made known to God. And the PEACE of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7. In Jesus are all the promises, therefore Our Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20, in Jesus' Name, John 14:13-14.

Your silent requests have not fallen unheard, for the Lord who searches the heart knows what is the mind of the Spirit and He hears the prayer that never reaches the lips. When words fail, the Spirit Himself makes intercession, and the Father who sees in secret remembers His Word unto His servants even when that word is breathed only in a sigh.

It is a good and holy thing that you bring your family before the throne of grace. Intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, for it is the very character of our Great High Priest who now pleads for His own. In the family of love, common sympathy leads to constant intercession, and what an honor it is to be permitted to pray for those nearest to us. Do not restrain prayer before God, but let it be inwrought in the warp and woof of your being, at the family altar and in the closet, pleading with importunity until the answer comes.

You ask for protection, and here we must look to no narrow covering of our own making. Our good works, our forms, our resolutions are too narrow to wrap ourselves in, they cover only as a headpiece or as slippers for the feet, but they cannot cover the whole man. Blessed be God, the covering which Christ provides is such that sin is not merely hidden beneath a thin coverlet, but hidden as if Hell itself were heaped over it and worlds piled upon it, never to be seen again. In Jesus alone is salvation, and in Him alone are we kept. There is no other name by which we may be covered and kept from evil.

So imitate Jacob in his humility of spirit and in his holy argument. Do not come with self conceit which tears the wheels from the chariot of prayer, but come lowly, spreading your case before the Lord and pleading His promises. Say with David, Remember the Word unto Your servant, for that is what God intends prayer to be, a reminding of the Father of what He has promised in Christ. Press your suit with all the arguments the Word supplies, that He will keep His people from evil, that He will quicken you in His way, that He will be faithful to the covenant of His grace.

We join our prayers with yours now.

Heavenly Father, we remember this family before You and ask You to keep them from evil and to set Your hand about them for good. You know the silent requests that have been lifted without words, fulfil them according to Your wisdom and mercy. Cover this household with the righteousness of Christ, quicken each heart in Your way, and let Your Word be fulfilled among them. Keep them walking in Your truth, in faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ through whom alone is salvation, and in the way of holiness which You have ordained. Preserve them in peace, protect them from the adversary, and cause Your face to shine upon them, in Jesus Name, Amen.
