We lift up your friend before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, knowing the deep sorrow that comes with losing loved ones in such a short span of time. The pain of grief is real, and we stand with her in this valley, trusting that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Your Word reminds us that even in our darkest moments, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Father, we ask that You would wrap Your loving arms around her and fill the emptiness with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Comfort her with the hope of eternal life, for we know that those who die in Christ are not lost but have simply gone ahead of us to be with You (1 Thessalonians 4:13-14). Remind her that one day, she will be reunited with her mother and grandmother in Your presence, where there will be no more sorrow, no more pain, and no more death (Revelation 21:4).
We pray for strength to carry her through each day, for wisdom to lean on You rather than her own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6), and for the assurance that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Surround her with brothers and sisters in Christ who will speak life, pray over her, and walk alongside her in this season.
Lord, we also ask that You would guard her heart from despair or bitterness. Help her to grieve with hope, knowing that You are the God of all comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4). May she find solace in Your promises and strength in Your presence. We declare that You are her healer, her provider, and her ever-present help in times of need.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, trusting that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will. Amen.
