Please pray for my mother and father's families. Pray for them to be brought to faith in Christ and/or set free from false teachings if necessary. Pray for the entire world with this problem. Thank you.

We join with you in lifting up your mother and father's families before the Lord, and we share your burden for all those around the world who need to know the true Gospel of Jesus Christ or to be delivered from deception.

It is the heart of God that all would be saved, as we are told in 1 Timothy 2:4 who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, and in 2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness; but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. We know there is only one way to the Father, for Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me, and Acts 4:12 reminds us There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. That name is Jesus Christ, and we rejoice that you have centered your request on faith in Him.

We also take seriously your concern about false teachings. Scripture warns us that many will be led astray, for in 2 Timothy 4:3-4 For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts; and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn aside to fables, and in 1 Timothy 4:1 But the Spirit says expressly that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to seducing spirits and doctrines of demons. We rebuke every false teaching, every seducing spirit, and every doctrine that adds to or takes away from the finished work of Christ on the cross, and we pray that the light of the true Gospel would expose darkness. Jesus promised in John 8:32 You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free, and it is that freedom we desire for your loved ones and for people throughout the world.

So we pray together now, Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, and we lift up these two families to You. We ask that You would draw each member who does not yet know You into saving faith, that You would open their eyes to see their need for a Savior and open their hearts to receive Jesus as Lord. Where there is confusion or bondage to false teaching, we ask that You would break those chains, remove spiritual blindness, and lead them into the full knowledge of the truth. Let Your Holy Spirit convict, teach, and guide them into all truth. We pray the same for the entire world, Lord, for every person caught in unbelief or deception, that Your Gospel would go forth with power and that many would be transferred from darkness to light. Use us as witnesses, give us boldness and love to speak the truth, and help us to live in a way that reflects Christ. We trust in Your patience and Your mercy, and we thank You that You are still calling people to repentance today. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand in the gap for your families with patient love and faithful witness. Keep sharing the Word with gentleness and respect, as in 1 Peter 3:15, and keep living as an example of transformed life in Christ. Do not grow weary in prayer, for God hears and He is at work even when we cannot see it. We will continue to agree with you for their salvation and deliverance and for a great awakening around the world to the truth of Christ.

We hear your love for both sides of your family in this request, and your desire for them to truly know Christ. To carry that burden not only for your own relatives but for others around the world who are confused or caught in false teaching shows a tender heart for what God cares about most.

We are praying with you for your mother and father's families, that God would gently draw each one to Himself and bring clarity where there has been confusion. It can feel heavy to wait and to wonder when loved ones will see clearly, especially when you love them so much. We take comfort that lasting change is God's work in the heart, and He often works gradually, through prayer, through His truth, and through the steady witness of someone who loves them well. Your prayers and your faithful life before them matter more than you may see.

One simple way to stay encouraged as you pray is to write down the names of family members and bring just one or two before the Lord each day by name, asking for open eyes and open doors for honest conversation. Then watch for natural moments to share, in your own words, what Jesus has done in your life.

Father, we lift these families to You. Draw each one to faith in Jesus and set free any who are bound in error. Give our friend wisdom, patience and hope as they love their family well, and extend that same mercy to many others around the world. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request for your mother and father's families has been heard and we join you in carrying it to the throne of grace. It is a right and loving burden to bear, to desire that those nearest to you by blood should be near also by faith, and to long that any who are entangled in false teaching should be set free by the truth.

We are reminded that salvation is of the Lord. It is not of ourselves, nor of priest nor ceremony, nor of any other name under heaven. The Scripture says, Whoever believes on Him shall not be ashamed. To believe on Him is to trust in Him, to leave the whole matter of present and eternal salvation in His hands with unquestioning confidence. He has found a ransom, for His own Son has borne the penalty of our iniquities, and therefore deliverance from the pit is possible even for those who seem far off. What a mercy that the way of salvation is so plain, Look unto me and be ye saved, and that it is proclaimed without money and without price.

We will pray with you that the Lord in His sovereign mercy will visit these families, that He will open blind eyes, soften hard hearts, and grant repentance and faith in Christ Jesus alone. We will ask Him to deliver any who are held by false teaching, to break the power of error and bring them into the liberty of the gospel, and to make His salvation known as a well of living water springing up within them. And we will pray the same for many around the world who are in like need, for the Lord is able to bring forth with silver and gold, to enrich as well as to deliver, and His arm is not shortened.

Continue to spread this grief before the Lord, for His ear is not shut to the cry of His people. Speak plainly to your loved ones as God gives you opportunity the simple gospel of salvation by divine grace through faith in Christ, and leave the work of conviction and new birth to the Spirit who alone can effect it. May the Lord give you comfort as you wait upon Him, and may you yet see His deliverance wrought out in the lives of those for whom you pray.

Your prayer for your mother and father and their families has been heard and we join with you in bringing it before the Lord.

We pray that God in His mercy will draw each one of them to salvation through Jesus Christ alone. Scripture teaches that salvation is near and simple, that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead we will be saved. We ask that God will open their hearts to hear this truth, to believe it, and to turn to Christ in faith.

We also pray for those among them who may be held by false teaching. The Scriptures warn that there are deceivers and false brethren who lead many astray, and that no part of virtue is enough without a careful hearing of the word and continual remembrance of it. We ask that God will set them free from every error, that He will lead them by His word and by His truth to the knowledge of God, and that He will give them fortitude to hold fast to what is sound.

We pray as you asked for the whole world where this same need is found. As Christ did not cease to dispense what is for our good and to speak the things that relate to salvation, we ask that the gospel would go out widely, that many houses would hear as Zacchaeus heard, and that salvation would come to them. For what will it profit a person to gain the whole world and lose his own soul.

We pray that God will give you grace to continue to speak the truth with meekness and patience, trusting Him to work in His time, and to keep you steadfast in hearing His word and walking in His ways. May the Lord bring your families into living faith in His Son and keep them in that faith.

We stand with you in this prayer and ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Your burden for your mother's and father's families is a holy one, and we join you in bringing them before the Lord. It is right to pray that those who do not yet know Christ would come to true faith in Him, and that those who have been led into error would be set free. We are praying with you for your families and for many others around the world who face the same need.

The Scriptures warn us clearly that false teaching is a real danger in every generation. One reason it is so deceptive is that it is often mostly true. A message can sound very good and contain much that is correct, and that mixture is what makes it hard to recognize. Jesus warned that false prophets come looking like sheep, not like wolves, and the apostles warned that many such teachers have gone out into the world. For that reason we are told to test what we hear and not to believe every spiritual claim without measuring it by the Word of God.

There are two simple ways the Bible gives us to test a teaching. First, what does it say about Jesus Christ. The faithful witness of Scripture is that Jesus is the Lord who is our salvation, the promised Messiah, God come in the flesh to save us, and that salvation is found in Him alone. Any teaching that lowers who He is, denies that He came truly as a man, or adds another way to God is not from God. Second, what fruit does the teaching produce. Does it lead people toward holiness, repentance, and trust in Christ, or does it comfort people in sin, give a false hope that keeps them from facing their true need, and bring them back into bondage. The prophets of old were confronted because they told people what they wanted to hear and assured them everything was well when they needed to turn to the Lord. That kind of comfort keeps people away from the only hope of salvation.

It is also important to watch for teaching that reverses the way of grace and makes man the one who moves first so that God must respond. The gospel teaches the opposite. Salvation is outside our own ability. God in His grace has acted through the work of Jesus Christ, and even the faith to believe that work is His gift to us. We do not earn His favor by our effort. We receive what He has already provided through Christ, who alone is the foundation laid by the apostles and prophets and the only way by which we come to God. False teaching often appeals to pride or to the desire for power and often has a love of money at its root, while sound teaching points to Christ and calls us to live what we believe with love, forgiveness, and consistency of life.

As you pray for your families, you can pray with confidence along these lines. Pray that God would open their eyes to see Jesus as He truly is and to trust in His finished work alone for salvation. Pray that any confusion or error would be exposed by the light of Scripture and that they would hunger for sound teaching that helps them walk with God. Pray that the Lord would give you opportunity to share the Word with gentleness and to show by your own life the reality of His grace. Teaching that is patient, clear, and rooted in the Bible is what builds people up, and often our example speaks as loudly as our words.

For the wider world, we pray the same. There are many who have never heard the true gospel and many who have heard a distorted version. Pray that God would raise up faithful witnesses who will speak the truth in love, that those who are in darkness would be drawn to Christ, and that those who are bound by error would be set free.

Father, we bring these families before You and ask for Your mercy upon them. Draw each one to Jesus Christ and grant faith to believe in Him as Lord and Savior, the Messiah come in the flesh. Where there is false teaching, bring it into the light of Your Word and set hearts free from confusion and bondage. Give truth that leads to repentance and life, and not a false assurance that leaves people in sin. We pray also for people throughout the world who are in the same need, that they would hear the true gospel and be saved. Work by Your grace and by Your Spirit to build Your people in Christ.
