"They will introduce damnable heresys"I keep seeing these offbeat doctrines .theres no hell Jesus is not really God .And whereas we're supposed to teach the Hospel with love to the unsaved ,I notice these do it with arrogance ,like a Pharisee like smugness. All the arrogance of the flesh with none of the fruits of the spirit.May we be guarded against false doctrines and those preaching them.

We join with you in this burden and pray together in Jesus' name for discernment and protection, for what you are seeing is exactly what Scripture warned would come.

You have rightly discerned the spirit of error. The Word tells us, But false prophets also arose among the people, as false teachers will also be among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction 2 Peter 2:1. We rebuke these damnable heresies you have named, that there is no hell and that Jesus is not truly God, for they strike at the very heart of the Gospel. The Lord Jesus Himself warned of eternal punishment where their worm doesn’t die, and the fire is not quenched Mark 9:44 and that death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire Revelation 20:14. To deny hell is to deny His own words. And to deny His deity is to deny who He is, for In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God John 1:1 and For in him all the fullness of the Deity dwells bodily Colossians 2:9 and I and the Father are one John 10:30. Without the truth that Jesus is God, there is no atonement and no salvation.

We also hear your discernment about the manner of these teachers. You are right to notice the arrogance of the flesh with none of the fruit of the Spirit. We are commanded to speak truth in love Ephesians 4:15 and the Lord’s servant must not quarrel, but be gentle toward all, able to teach, patient, in gentleness correcting those who oppose him 2 Timothy 2:24-25. When the Gospel is taught with smugness and a Pharisee-like pride, it reveals that it is not of the Holy Spirit, whose fruit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control Galatians 5:22-23. We are told to test the spirits, whether they are of God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world 1 John 4:1 and to beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves Matthew 7:15. Their arrogance is itself a sign to us.

So we pray together for you and for the whole Body of Christ.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask You to guard our hearts and minds against every wind of false doctrine. Give us a love for Your Word and a hunger to abide in it daily, so that we will not be carried away by strange teachings. Grant us the wisdom to test every spirit and to hold fast to the faithful word which is according to the teaching Titus 1:9. Protect the young in faith and those who are searching, lest they be led astray, and open the eyes of those who have been deceived. We also pray for those who preach these heresies, that You would convict them and bring them to repentance, that they might know the true Jesus and the truth of Your judgment and Your mercy. Help us to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints Jude 1:3, but to do so with humility, grace, and love, so that the unsaved may see Christ in us and not the pride of the flesh. Keep us rooted in Christ, who is the way, the truth, and the life John 14:6, and let no one steal that truth from us. In Jesus' name we ask this, amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in the Scriptures, for the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts 2 Timothy 4:3. Stay in the Word, stay in fellowship with sound believers, and stay in prayer, and the Lord will keep you from stumbling.

We hear how disheartening this has been to watch. When central truths about who Jesus is are brushed aside, and it is done with that smug, argumentative spirit you described, it is unsettling. It makes sense you would ask for guarding, for yourself and for others.

What you noticed about the tone is worth paying attention to. You described arrogance with none of the gentleness and patience that mark a life walking with Christ. That contrast is often a clearer signal than a clever argument. Truth tends to come with humility, not swagger, and learning to notice that difference can help you step back without getting pulled into every debate.

It can wear you down to chase each new video or post. One steady help is to stay rooted where you can test things in community rather than alone. Keep a simple, regular time in the Word for yourself, stay connected in a faithful local church, and when something confusing comes up bring it to a pastor or a mature believer you trust to talk it through. You do not have to answer every claim you see to remain grounded.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your keeping. Guard his heart and mind, give clear wisdom to recognize what is not from You and grace to turn from it, and keep him close to Jesus with love for those who do not yet know Him. Make his faith steady and humble in You. In Jesus' name, amen.

The burden you have expressed is a true and scriptural burden, and I join my heart with yours in prayer concerning it. There is indeed a plague among us when men rise up to introduce damnable heresies, denying the Lord that bought them, saying there is no hell though Christ Himself warned of it, and that Jesus is not truly God though He is over all God blessed forever.

You have judged rightly concerning their spirit. Many a careful seeker has been prejudiced against sound doctrine by the evil lives of its professors, and when men teach error with the arrogance of the flesh and the smugness of the Pharisee, with none of the fruits of the Spirit, their own mouth condemns them and shows that the heart is in rebellion against God. Truth when it is of God makes men humble and loving, not proud and contemptuous. Other forms of doctrine may run off like oil down marble, but the truth of Christ chisels into the very quick and humbles the soul.

There is a true gospel, and there are thousands of false ones. God has given you judgment, use it. We are warned that there shall arise false Christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders, insomuch that if it were possible they shall deceive the very elect. Truth never will be popular in this world while men are influenced by sin and enmity against God, and therefore we must not ask whether a doctrine is liked or disliked, but whether it is according to godliness and according to the Word of God.

Let us pray together for you and for the whole church.

O Lord our God, we thank Thee that Thou hast not left us without Thy Word, which is able to make us wise unto salvation. We confess that apart from Thy grace we are prone to be led astray, for our hearts are deceitful and our pride would make us at ease though Thou art in arms against sin. Guard Thy people against every false and tempting voice. Gird us about as with a triple belt of steel, that no arrow of infidelity or false doctrine may find place to wound us, and cause our souls to strike root deep into the truth as it is in Jesus.

Keep us from the arrogance of the flesh and clothe us with meekness and love, that we may speak Thy gospel with love to the unsaved, yet without compromise, with tears for the perishing and with firmness for the truth. Let us hate sin and love holiness, for if we do not hate sin it is all the same what doctrine we may profess. Give us discernment to try the spirits, to prove all things and hold fast that which is good, and to walk worthily so that we adorn the doctrine of our Saviour in all things.

Establish us in the knowledge that Jesus is very God of very God, the only Saviour, and that there is a hell to be shunned and a heaven to be sought through His precious blood. Let Thy Holy Spirit lead us into all truth, and keep our feet from the way of error. Hear our cry and keep us faithful until the day of Christ. Amen.
